It looks to be seated on a stalactite (those are the rocks that form the ground, right?), so it could be resting. If it was close to the magma (magma is molten rock not exposed to the earth's surface, right?), the Pyro Fly "may" be feeding from the magma like bees and ants do to nectar from flowers. Feeding from magma, to refuel their reserves that they use to spit beams of burning oxides... maybe. This is National Geographic... EpicDuel World.
