 Some major side effects could be extreme unbalance... I'm sure that Titan and Nightwraith are aware of this. An entirely new stat implementation system WITH special weapon passives such as massive strike must be nightmares to balance, so we can only hope for the best...

Epic duel would be awesome if they gave 50k varuim to all players just to show how much they care and respect this community, after all even Artix said he didn't start this company for the money, but for the sastisfaction of players so I'm sure he wouldn''t mind if everyone got 50k varuim because after all he dosen't care about the money just a sastifaction and that would be pretty sastifying, am I right.

Can someone P.M night wraith this I think if he talked to Atix he might agree and everyone get's varuim, because it's the hoildays and some familys can't afford to buy all this expensive video games merchandise. It's about giving right and it's not like they even lose money they just have to input codes to give everyone this, so they don't even have to spend money so this is even better they can really give back to the community for the hoildays.

This would make Omega and chrismass and ED awesome.

 ^if they gave everyone 50k varium(which is $250 worth of varium) i bet they would lose a lot of money. If they gave me 50k right now i definatly wouldn't buy the 10k i am going to buy when omega is released.

50k is way too much. I can see maybe 50k credits and 1k varium, but nowhere near 50k varium.

Truth is, Omega is looking pretty good though. But, i'm going to patiently wait and see how this all plays out.

i hope u realize varium is only a number. they dont actually pay for it, they can simply alter that number to be increased.
except players pay to have that number increased.

 ^i know i meant they would lose money from people not buying varium packages because they wouldn't need to if they got 50k free.

 Why don't they just fully refund enhancements? This is a simple, not too difficult to implement, idea, which is fair, reasonable, and makes perfect sense.

50k is too much, maybe 1k, if I even got any free Varium I'd be thankful, but if I got 50k I'd never buy Varium again! It wouldn't be smart on Artix's part to give away such a large amount

The thought of getting 50k var is just......insane...I don't expect any var given actually.

Omega looks great, NPCs give credits at least, which is the thing I'm concerned about, unlimited! Although I'm a little upset of the enhancements, but the other info about future Omega releases surely made it up greatly!

no varium should be given at all, because with the coming omega phase every item will be technically speaking..the same so it is a greater reason to not give free varium out.

Everything they've told us so far has been perfect. It's now down to how enhancements and item upgrading will turn out to be.

No var should be given to players at all.

People pay for it, and you demand to get it for free.
Expecially the 50k for free. Thats outrages.
People pay 250$ for it and you demand to get if for nothing?

50,000 varium? Do you know how much that is!?
Giving that away would make them bankrupt! If everyone has 50k varium, that means nobody will buy anymore varium.
Not buying varium = Lose funds - Lose funds = Bankrupt - Bankrupt = No more EpicDuel
So guys, think about it... Please stop will the "free stuff" you're being very selfish!

 Seriously? 50000 varium? That's literally full enhancing 30 weapons or so, which only 1% or even less of the ED community has done. AS I SAID, just refund enhancements fully for any enhanced items in the player's current inventory.

50K Varium Is the person who said this serious? I heard of greed but that is too much. I would settle for having my varium refunded to me for the enhancements I brought, but then again we don't know what they are going to do fully with old enhancements yet.

On topic:
I'm hoping the update turns out good, but I thought it was a bad idea that the ED team said the day of update because now everyone has expectations and they might even have to rush Omega up. I mean really, remember the beginning of Delta?

Full refund of enhancements is quite a lot too. I'll personally be getting around maybe 8k varium.

It is perfect because it was what we asked for, the only thing i hope is that it is really something we can all live in harmony with. Not sure about the latest refund chat, still amazed though.

Guys, wait for the release then complain! 50k var........ ............thats the most stupid thing I have ever read on forums........ I spent about........50k var :P on enchantments..... so what? I got some wins and thats it. we should be happy that we had a chance to enjoy them, thats it.
