 As we're all aware, it is very expensive to play ED and be competitive. The prices are exorbitant compared to most other PvP games on any of the various platforms.

Yet, look what we get for paying through the nose: A ridiculous amount of lag that makes it difficult to enjoy this "premium" game. What gives? I can play a crappy online PvP on my ps3 for FREE.

Should ED continue to make releases focused on Balance, or new armors, or new features---and not get rid of the lag (don't tell me it can't be done, either)? What good are new weapons when you can't attack?

What do you think?

^What you talking about? You play for free.
If there is lag then its your computer or network that is crappy.

 Ahhh, Edward, please don't make the naive assumption that the character linked to my forum account is my ONLY character. ;)

Oh, and I have an N router on a VERY good network with an upgraded Internet package.

Lag isn't caused by the network very often on flash games. It's coding that the server is taking too long to process. It's always bound to happen after large feature releases.

@ edwardvulture ur saying their is no lag when you play? it doesn't have to skip you, for their to be lag; lag can be, how long it takes you to get a turn, how long it takes your character to react to an action, or how long it takes the other guy to react to an action; +3 min on a fight because of lag.

Still, I prefer balance better than lag.

Lag is natural but you usually link the payed character to your char page. I'd assume.
I don't get it how come other ppl have lag? I get through fine.

 regardless of whether you're Merv (is that you, Moustache Merv? :3 ), and accepting that we have less control over pricing than you think we do, we ARE working on reducing the lag. Any game with animations is going to lag, anything where you are sharing server space with other people is going to lag. There are some sources of lag we have control over, and some which we don't.

maybe a 'hide annimations' button in the options menu? or a button to make everyone invisable (like we were when AE was down)
