NOTE: Read the whole post before posting. This is a not a Founder VS. Non-Founder discussion(you might as well leave if you want confrontation). This is a discussion about the state of our community. I added mentions of the past week's arguments to settle the rumors/falsehoods that were flying around.

With permission, I have been allowed to re-post this. However, I am going to revise the thread to make it less demeaning.

The forums are run over with a pathetic argument of Founder versus Non-Founder. It's time to end these arguments with an ending argument. There is fact and fiction being thrown around at both sides of the fence. Presumptions, and falsehoods. I made this thread to settle the argument, and show the facts.

Now:

Fact about Founders(Elites/Alphas):
-Founders were not "promised" but were "told" that Founder Armor would be ONE OF THE STRONGEST Armors in EpicDuel.
-Elites have no argument against the promise being broke, as it's in EpicDuel's T&A that they are elligible to change any feature as they please.
-Founders have an armor and an achievement. (yay?)

Fiction about Founders(Elites/Alphas):
-We are not greedy. If you think we're greedy because we asked for something, that's your own issue. I want to mention that many Founders are generalized negatively. While a minority sours our reputation the majority takes the full front of it.
-We are not "noobs" for saying we were the first to believe in this game. Supporters are supporters no matter when they join, but do give us respect as we did help EpicDuel grow in some shape or form.
-We are not the lowest varium paying players. Countless Founders empty their wallets in this game. Don't try to argument that we don't support as much as you.

Ending Comments for this section: We're just people like you. We're not elitists, we're not any more special than you. We simply are saying we supported the game in the very beginning of beta. That's it.

Non-Founders:

First, I want to say that without you all the game would not exist. But that doesn't give you the right to troll the founders for asking for a miniature upgrade to a piece of art on a coded computer screen. We're not being Greedy for asking that. You can give me all the examples of founders who are complaining all you want to. Who is that? Honestly? 2 People. WOW that's a majority...

Second, you have no right on this earth to say that you supported this game more than anyone(that's to everyone, not just non-founders). Everyone here has supported, and having the fattest wallet does not make you any better than the non varium over there in the corner. Simply by playing the game you're supporting, by giving feedback for the game you're supporting. It's not about the money, it's about playing the game and being who you are.

To Everyone:

Has everyone here lost their minds? What happened to our "friendly" community? All we do is nothing but mob threads, and strike at the Developers because we think we know how to manage their jobs more than they do. Do you know how to code? Do you know how to use Flash CS5, and make amazingly detailed items? I don't think so. Even if you can use flash, you're probably not as good as Charfade and NightWraith(If you are, where are your suggestions?). Even if you do coding, I'm sure you can't rewrite all the coding Titan has done for us(If you can, why haven't you applied to work at AE?).

We all look pathetic and sad. No wonder why players outside our community call us rude. BECAUSE WE ARE. We're all selfish(me including) and we all want it our way.

Can we not stop saying "me" and start saying "them"? Is it hard to ask that we stop putting personal preferences in the game and think about the game as whole?

Ridiculous.

It's time to end the fighting, it's time to turn the community upside down. We're looking awfully stupid at the moment, and bickering about a unreal piece of pixel generated clothing won't get us anywhere.

It really start here when founders demand a upgrade for armors. But we did came up with peaceful solution to armor will be always match to founders armor if did upgrade. But founders demand to get buff instead of varium. So thats were flame really stared. Is fair just founders get upgrade. wait after many brought bunny armor to me no. But when I try peace full way many ignore me.

Note when I say founders I am talk about those with armor and here means forums.

I'm sorry but you shouldn't be blaming anyone. This thread is about not blaming anyone but ourselves and yet you're certainly doing the opposite. We're not bad people, and your generalization of us is very offensive. I never whined for a buff nor did I cared for one. I was only upset about the Developer and Player relations. (I can see why they refrain with taking all our ideas though)

 Play nice, or we'll have another unfriendly locked topic.

A buff to founder armour isn't exactly fair to founders who don't have the armour, so it's not the best solution. We wanted to give our founders something that was significant (a nice shiny new weapon maybe?) without being overpowered.

I am happy that at least your thread was re-opened Sol.

I am going to entrust the mantle of teaching the newer players to the few founders/elites and beta players that bother to frequent this forum.

I feel that my presence in this forum has reached its expiry date as I no longer wish to be disheartened on a daily basis by such negativity.

I hope that your post leaves an impact on a few of the players Sol :) and I do hope that there is more like you that have the fortitude to carry on.

Nonvarium deserves the same rights as varium/founders I agree that nonvariums should get some credit only weps lvl 32. Lets appreciate our accomplishments ^^ and help us each other.

 i find once a thread has been argued over then it turns into flaming then thread closed usually means it doesnt need bringing back to life. whats the purpose of this thread now? sorry enlighten me? i think every1 is done with their rant now.

I don't see anyone flaming. My thread's original intention was to be civil. It's not my fault if it gets out of hand unless I purposefully force it to be that way.

The purpose is to help us realize that we need to stop focusing on ourselves, and start focusing on the community as a whole. Bring it together, and making it happier for everyone.

Does "Amen" work?
Despite what most non founders say nowadays, the top supporters of the games, and the ones who have paid the most and taken the largest risks, are founders.

We just gave up...
Idk if u remember our (elites) war with yours (founder)...

Please excuse me, you forgot:
- 10000 Varium for the package
- 1000 additional Varium will come with todays update
- complete set of Beta Items
- 10 enhencement slots, more than any other armor so far
(elites also got all of this, if i read it correctly, maybe excluding the 10k var)

Regarding this "one of the strongest armors" thing, i quote myself from the other thread:

The devs do not need or have to upgrade Founders at all, if they do, it is their own will, if they don't it's just the same, the devs are eligible to change any feature as they please.
Yes, it is hard to get this into ones head. I also struggle with it everytime an update is made that i don't like. And i'd definately go amok if they upgrade Founders once more. But hey, life is a lemon O.o



If you don't mind me asking, what is this thread all about in the first place?
A facts on Founders? Or a Founders deserve? Or a the community became decadent? The mixture confuses me.

Seriously... Another post about Founders -_-

Ive said my oppinion on this so many times.. that i just cant say it again

Personally right now i think any thread about Founder armor should be Locked because even tho i am a Founder and I love my armor.. Im just sick of people bashing Founders all the time in these threads

Come on.. Lets just play the game, have fun and stop all this crap

@Polandor Without founders their be no Epic Duel to begin with you wouldnt even know about this probably it wouldnt exist. So be grateful.

You people are all ungrateful and selfish you keep attacking the founders,calling them greedy,saying their armor sucks and saying it would be better if they stop whinning and get over it. Well if founders left and never came back at the beginning. THERE BE NO EPIC DUEL!!! Why are you so selfish and careless? Geesh the founders ask for a simple reward they get 1000 varium and another special reward maybe a buff to their armor. GET OVER IT! Its not that serious calm down let the founders get what they deserve and be quite! Thanks. :)

 With evolvement of any kind, there is a connection between the past, present, and future. Every aspect is linked this way. Without one, the others cease to exist. Without Alpha and Founders, the game would likely not exist, yet without beta and gamma, the game would have no future. Remember you all are connected. The game will do the best they can for everyone. We need each other, so do be friendly and constructive with your thoughts.
