Do you think it would be good if bh's and mage's multi skills were boosted up to the potential of Artillary Strike.
Im a bounty and want to play 2v2 but i dont have a good multi skill.
maybe if our multi hitting skills were raised more of us would play 2v2 and it wont mostly be mercs i see.
I was checking over 10 fights how many mercs i faced in 2v2
first battle:2 mercs 1 bounty(me) 1 tech
second battle:3 mercs 1 bounty
third battle:1 merc 1 tech and 2 bountys
fourth battle:3 mercs 1 bounty
fifth battle: 2 mercs 2 bountys
sixth battle: 3 tech mages 1 bounty
seventh battle: 1 merc 3 bountys
eighth battle: 3 mercs 1 bounty
ninth battle: 2 mercs 1 tech 1 bounty
tenth battle: 1 merc 2 tech 1 bounty
Anyways over all there was 18 mercenarys.
imagine if our skills were buffed up to that potential alot more colourful builds will start coming up from bountys and tech mages alike with spell mages and multi shot bountys coming up we can get 2v2 star bountys and mages.
anyways thanks and i want your oppinions on what you think.
support or not support?

Anyways plasma rain is not as strong as multi shot and artillery strike.

multi shot and plasma rain are the same thing basically, except they improve with different stats, but the plasma rain requires a staff

yes i agree, but i see BH frequently with high dex and multi shot improves with dex with just 1 skill point on it rage with could be deadly.
mages multi is terrible i never see it used except by low lvl mages in fact ive never seen a tech mage build (besides voidance overkill one) but no tech and mage dose not work.

My Tech Mage currently specializes in 2v2... or tries to. With Mercs constantly getting in my way, I'm not going to get very far. Each and every Merc knows (or should know) that their Multi Skill is overpowered, even after several Nerfs. Some of you will no doubt try to argue with me. But if you still believe that your Artillery Strike isn't overpowered, then why do Mercs still dominate 2v2? Why is it that no High-Level Tech Mage or Bounty Hunter bothers to use their Multi Skill?

So yes, Plasma Rain and Multi Shot are in dire need of a Buff.

Agree! We need more mages and bounty hunters. I really hate seeing lots of hybrid armors on 2vs2 all the time.

Ppl can i plz explain why a buff to plasma rain is bad. If u buff plasma rain to artilerary strike lvl then added effects of malf would demolish a lot of ppl in 2v2 think about it maybe a small buff and 2 hits because i like 7 and 8 more than 15 Also bh's creativity in builds would lessen then it would be only str and dex builds because dex plus reflex boost equals kick butt multi. Im gonna quote goldslayer hope u dont mind mercs dont have debuff skills unless u think intimidate counts (cmon ppl theres still aux,robot and skills) so we have to "tough it out" . I had a really good post about this somewhere Ill c if i can find it.

yeah i wanna have max bloodlust max multishot and do 50+ damage on each opponent so i can regain like 30-40 jp thru bloodlust every time i multishot. YIPPY

its weak for a reason.
a BH with multishit as strong as artilery strike wont be good, because of the hp regen u get out of BL with all that damage.

It isn't the multis that have a problem, it's the builds. I have a very successful bounty build, with a rate of 86%. Would be higher, but I've gotten multiple noob partners and a difference level of 5 recently.

Found my post this goes with the topic, The person also suggested a defence ignore for plasma bolt and Plasma Rain. :

Aux,robots,and skill still cans still be used. It's a waste of at least 10-28 nrg. If the guy is a tech merc,tech mage,tech bh, sup mers,sup mage,sup bh, and almost any other skill tht improves that classes skills.

I agree we are a little OP but with the right build anyone can beat us. When im a lvl 33 im gonna try an amzing build no one has tried before maybe that'll be Op. The reason we are so Op is because it's easier for our builds to work and the no requirement for dex on any of our skills helps us so we can just leave it at our wep requirements and let hybrid take care of it. But overall mercs need hybrid if u remove hybrid we will only have 1 thing to raise our res and only res if u count Intimadate which i already pointed out is useless we'll have 2 skills while other classes have 3 skills that raise/debuff . If ure against hybrid still listen to this every class except mercs have 2 passives we only have 1. Think of that 1 passive as 2 and each giving 6 and 6 to def/res. If ure saying let's do that so it'l be more fair then we could have +6 on def and +6 on res at the same time. Goldslayer only put facts into his statements and so did i so think this through b4 u start flaming mercs again on this topic and any other 1.

I don't care what anyone says; 2v2 Mercs are overpowered beyond belief. I'm incredibly upset at the moment. For the past two hours, I've been treated like trash in 2v2, losing almost every battle solely because of a Merc. I've been told that I have a great deal of patience, but after what happened today, I was literally on the verge of tears.

As far as I can tell, there is nothing drastically wrong with my Build. My Tech Mage is Level 33, and has pretty good Weapons, adequate Defense/Resistance, and fairly decent offensive capabilities. Yet almost every 2v2 Battle today ended in disaster for me. My attacks were Blocked and Deflected, over and over again. Almost every Support Merc managed to perform a Critical Strike on me. I was Stunned by numerous Strength Mercs, and pounded into oblivion by 5 Focus Tech Mercs' Gamma Bots. Today was... something out of the ordinary. All of a sudden, I went from winning most of my Battles, to winning only about 1 in 10. I couldn't believe what had happened.

The only difference that I noticed today was that I faced an unusually large amount of Mercs -- most of them were Support Mercs. Yet, that made all the difference in the world. Anyone who doesn't agree that 2v2 Mercs are overpowered is a LIAR. I'm sick and tired of this INJUSTICE. I've done nothing wrong. Mercs have harassed me over and over again in 2v2 humiliating me, destroying my Battle Record. I hate the fact that I must work so hard to be successful in 2v2, just because I'm a Tech Mage, with a Gamma Bot as my only piece of Varium Equipment.

"Mercs don't have debuff Skills"?!? That's why Artillery Strike, Bunker Buster, and so many of your other Skills are Overpowered?!? That's why all of your Builds work out perfectly?!? HAH! Do you think we Tech Mages and Bounty Hunters WANT to waste a turn applying a Debuff while you use your overpowered Bots or Auxiliaries on your first turn? Why don't we get Overpowered Resistance and Defense ignoring Attacks that can be effective without a Debuff? Why should we waste a turn?

I am DISGUSTED with Artillery Strike and all of your other mindless "Skills". Why should we have useless Multi Skills? Because we have Blood Lust or Reroute? Give us Hybrid Armor, and we'll happily trade in our Multi Skills. I'll even throw in Supercharge; who needs the pathetic excuse for an "Ultimate Skill"?!?

As you can see, I am obviously, VERY disappointed at the moment. I realize that EpicDuel's just a game... a good game, to be honest. But when I have to earn everything the hard way, yet end up with results like the ones I got tonight, I feel the need to share my thoughts, as (a seemingly minor) part of EpicDuel's community.

artilery strike is not oped anymore there have been so many nerfs on it. so stop complaining arty mercs only use arty and zooka= they are energy dependen 1 simple emp and they are doomed not emp must do 43 energy or more if they merc has 61 energy and max arty. my tech bh build for non varium kill almost all merc 1 emp then smoke. u guys are complaining again and again. u guys really want the game to turn into 5 focus build with robo. robo bh robo merc and robo mage. 5 focus every 1 has 5 focus and will be running around with almost the same build. woohoo. distroy all the creative build by complaining.

each class heva its own strong points in 2v2. i have played all classes in 2v2 and i can say bh strongest skill in 2v2 is thier emp. mages with high support they kill support mercs easily if the support merc does not have a debuff. and merc have thier artilery strike.

i know luna, everyone says mercs are OP. its the same thing with str mercs in 1 vs 1.
but 90% of those who say its OP never actually played with that class.
so they dont see all sides of it.

^HA! I play every class at least twice a week. Strength merc is OPED no doubt anyone who isn't really have preblems with figuring out the game mechanics.

Be reasonable. Every Class has had their reign of power (though Mercs have dominated 2v2 for as long as I can remember). I'm assuming that you Mercs simply don't want to be nerfed (I wouldn't want my Class to be nerfed either). Goldslayer, IIRC, you were once a Tech Mage. But like so many other Tech Mages, you changed your Class... why? Tech Mages are underpowered. Luna, I'm sure you're fully aware that only Tech Mages with Varium can pull off a decent high Support Build. Also, I can argue that Atom Smasher is more powerful than EMP Grenade; while it is Blockable, it consumes less Energy, and can easily be abused by Strength Mercs.

In terms of 2v2, Mercs have everything laid out neatly in front of them; Tech Mages and Bounty Hunters have a harder time finding a good Build. Clearly, we don't have Balance. If you still insist that 2v2 Mercs aren't overpowered, then please explain why there are so many Mercs in 2v2.

i got bored of techmage, its good for % but its really slow. and i dont like too slow.

@edvard
dude then explain why str merc is 70-80% winrate(with npcs) while str BH is 90-99%? (with npcs)
u obviously did not see how much we loose.
for every 3-4 fights we win, we loose one. and we're full varium
str BH on the other hands wins 9-15 (i gotten 34 in a row with str bh) before a lose (without NPCs)
and str bh is 40-55 wins an hour, str mercs are 45-55 wins an hour. with a crap % of 70-80.
str mercs aren't OP, ur build just sucks.
Evolve or die. if ur having trouble with str merc, then make a build to counter it.
our % would be even lower if ED didn't have players without brains enough to make a decent build to counter it.

ohh for the record non varium str merc is 60-70% with npcs.
non varium str BH gets 75-85%

@Lectrix: I can't find your char page, but you're just one of those noobs who doesn't know anything about this game and just mindlessly complains. Mercs have been nerfed numerous times, if you can find a good build and have a good strategy it shouldn't be a problem. The only unbalanced thing in 2vs2 is the bad match-ups, not mercs mate.
