  • Each empowerment is single-use, and only one empowerment may be held at a time. (Pop-up: Attack empowered by <element>.)
  • Guardian will consume their current empowerment upon using Attack and 'Awethur's Power' skills (see below).

    Requirements: 12th return to Trainer Eckhard, with 1 Wings of the Hundred Flames to turn in

    Effect: 1 hit of 200% damage; activates the following effects (see below):
    • Has a 33% chance, at random, to become empowered and activate one of the following effects: (Pop-up: Awethur's power flows through you!)
      • If the target's maximum HP is less than 50% of the player's maximum HP, performs OHKO to target, with +9000 Bonus.
      • If the target's maximum HP is more than 50% of the player's maximum HP, performs 1 hit of 500% damage. (Pop-up if target is immune to Awethur's Power: The foe rejects Awethur's Power!)

    • If empowered with an element, this attack's damage, effects and element vary based on any active empowerments provided by another skill.
      • If empowered with Water, attack will deal Water damage and restores 10% of the player's maximum HP.
      • If empowered with Ice, attack will deal Ice damage and restores 10% of the player's maximum MP.
      • If empowered with Fire, attack will deal Fire damage and applies 'Empowered Breath', a 100% Magic Fire DoT effect, to target for 1 turn.
      • If empowered with Energy, attack will gain +25% damage and deal Energy damage.
      • If empowered with Light, attack will deal Light damage and applies 'Empowered Blind' (-50 Bonus) to target for 1 turn.
      • If empowered with Darkness, attack will deal Darkness damage and applies 'Empowered Humbled' (-25 Boost) to target for 1 turn.
      • If empowered with Nature, attack will deal Nature damage and applies 'Nature's Wrath' (-100 Melee/Pierce/Magic Avoidance) to target for 2 turns inclusive.
      • If empowered with Wind, attack will deal Wind damage, with +100 Bonus.
      • If empowered with Bacon, attack will deal Bacon damage, with +200 Crit.

    • If the target has more than 50% of its maximum HP remaining, this attack gains +50 Crit.
    • If the target has less than 50% of its maximum HP remaining, attack applies 'Dragon's Sear' (+50 Health Resist) to target for 3 turns inclusive.

    Other information
  • This class is color-custom to player's base and trim colors.
  • The Guardian class was first released on April 13th, 2007. It was revamped on May 15th, 2015, then revamped again on July 31st, 2020.
  • This class cannot use on-attack weapon specials.
  • Fully train this class to obtain the Guardian badge.
