Hello to everyone reading this , here my suggestion where putting small picture of the skills in the classes of ED . It's not a big deal but might make the ED Forums a little bit interesting in case of balance discussions and / or strategy . They will work like smileys but not very small , as in think of this font size ( since i'm too lazy to make a demo using pictures ) :

Well, the DF Pedia already has pictures of the skills. But they don't really help in terms of skills so I don't know, but ED may be different since I've never played it. All in all, I don't really see why not, except someone has to be willing to do the task of going through and putting up these images.

Sounds unneccassary.

As well... it sounds like ALOT of work and time for AK's/Mods and others that COULD be spent doing other things more worthwhile. Sure other parts of the forum do that.... so that means no new code would have to be added really. But you should take everything into mind... the time, do others want this(?), the possible consequences, the work, and is it worth it(?).

I only see "Do others want this?" in the idea.

Yes,

As an EpicDuel player myself, the repetition of skills in posts can be misleading and unnecessary. EpicDuel is really only 2 halves, stats and skills. There are more than 40 skills, and referring to them by name is time consuming... referring to them by abbreviation can be confusing, especially when 2 skills such as DA and SA being closely typed on the keyboard. Smileys to easily describe the topic at hand would be appreciated.

 Given that there are over 40 skills, would finding the image and writing out the code to embed it really save any time over just writing out the words? I'm not necessarily against this idea, but I'm not sure I understand the original suggestion and I'm not sure I agree with it as a time saver.

Where would these pictures be embedded, exactly? In what posts?

Everest: I think he means something similar to the DF Pedia in the forums. An example would be something similar to this page, where you have the description, effect, damage, and then the icon, as well as how the move looks like when it's put into effect.

 Of course, but there's no encyclopedia in the ED forums, just an offsite wiki.
