 What damage do you think the golden yeti will be?

I think it would be +17 damage & Chomp which detonates extra damage ;D

+17? That's ridiculous. I would say 15 dmg like the Omega Yeti's.

Actually gold isn't very strong. Gold is very malleable and can be indented by simply biting it.

No, it'll be +15. The Devs already stated that the golden yeti will only differ in colour. It's just be like an achievement. Only to be shown-off.

 It would be funny if the gold yeti broke down into parts since the particles of gold slide across each other ( you can bend them and they can snap). Depends what carat the gold is. 21 carat will break so easily xD.


Developers! I would recommend a 9 carat golden yeti ;P. Doesn't break that quick.

Then its still stronger then the regular yetí's only got +12
Then it would be as powerfull as an omega one which makes it too strong since it didnt take any training or var serums

Then this yeti is of gold.

But the core skills must after all be unique, or?
Or we get two gold yetis?

As otherwise, how does that work with builds `?
Must be changed class to use it?
Existing what kind of dmg? psy / energy, or perhaps both, etc.?
For something unique, it must be with it than just gold.

But that's just what I think :)

Oh yeah, I don't hope the Yeti is restricted to either Phy or Energy dmg.

would be cool if it had instead of the "chomp" special it had a energy and a physical attack :P ( or chomp uses the opposite damage type as normal hit ) just to give it some use to all builds xD

Well Golden Yeti is more of a figure head and at least it is just for pure decoration so it's just something I can pass over.

Oh really? My bad. I mistook the damage the yetis have by thinking that it was the same as the omega yetis.

The golden yeti would probably have the same damage as a normal yeti would. I dont see how it should be different since it was already said that the only difference would be the colour. I was only able to forgo this so-called "tournament" because the golden yeti was just supposed to on par with the normal yeti but just in gold. If there was going to be a difference in power, I would have definitely gone hardcore to get into the top 100.

 @reinVI: Same here, I planned on quitting shortly after Omega came for a period of time (not because I dislike Omega, just because I felt like switching to other activities), but this golden yeti has got me motivated to at least win one before I quit. I sure hope the yeti has at least one unique aspect other than a recolor... Having similar damage is fine, I would just appreciate a difference, like a new core which is completely different but not at all overpowered or particularly special in any means.

But yes, i would like it if it had the same effect as gamma bot.
But then with +15 instead of +14.
Because this robot takes way more work to get then gamma bot did.
Since gamma was buyable and this yeti is not.

 Give it same damage as Omega Yetis have. Why? Getting Golden Yeti requires a lot of effort, even more than missions do to upgrade them so it only seems reasonable.

What if you guys found out at the end of the tournament that the Golden Yeti was simply a robot purely for showing off (something ridiculous like +0 dmg)?
