 Hello everyone, I`m Balu and on behalf of the entire OverSoul forum moderation team, I`d like to welcome you to the First PvP Elemental Tournament! :o
But what exactly is it? Well, we thought it might be a nice idea to hold a PvP tournament on the forums in the spirit of fun and sportsmanship. So, carefully read all the information below before deciding to post and participate!

GENERAL TOURNAMENT RULES AND GUIDELINES

  • PvP bracket elimination tournament. Duel invitation only. Meaning that each player will have to challenge each other via the "Duel" option for each fight, one after the other.
  • Best of six matches advances to the next stage. If after six matches the score is tied, the duels will continue until one of the two players pulls ahead.
  • Duelists must use only characters of the element the tournament`s theme is.
  • No level restrictions. Duelists can use any level character. (Disclaimer: Participating in the tournament could mean having to face a level 20 opponent, so be prepared!).
  • No card customization restrictions. Duelists can use any CC cards they have at their disposal.
  • 72 hour as in three days period for players to sign up, starting from the time stamp shown in the first post of the sign-up thread.
  • After the 72 hour sign-up period the thread will be locked and you can`t sign up anymore.
  • For a valid sign-up, players must make a post including their ingame name.
  • The bracket tournament chart showing who duels who will be posted in the tournament discussion thread and the players can begin to coordinate with one another and start dueling. All duels are random, meaning that it doesn`t matter when you post in the sign-up thread, you can get any opponent.
  • In the discussion thread, players must post evidence of their victories in the form of a screenshot taken upon winning a duel (Please read this if you don`t know how to take a screenshot and upload it to a site).
  • After the tournament has officially begun and all players know their opponents, there is a 48 hour time frame for the duelists to show up and fight. Failing to do this, one or both can be disqualified from the tournament, any remaining duelist of the two advancing to the next stage by default.
  • Since this is a Forum Based Tournament, the winner will not be getting any recognition or perks ingame! Just bragging right on the forum. :-)
  • All Artix Entertainment Forum Rules and Oversoul General Discussion Forum Rules apply in the tournament forum threads.

    This tournament`s element is ICE. So get ready for a smashing, blocking and freezing good time, because Winter is coming to the forums! :D

    		Aww I don't have any Ice chars above lv1 xD I'll bet Beck is gonna participate with his Cosoma :P

    My in-game name is Beck, of course, and my beetles are ready to go!

    And I promise that if you duel me with something other than a level 17-20, I'll use my Ice Beetle. Beetles of all sizes can give hugs!

    		"First" would mean there will be more.
    I'll jut join the Energy or Earth PvP Tournament.

    Granted that the CC for those elements will be out.

    		My in- game name is The Jop. Though I don't have any ice series cards and my highest level ice character is a level 14 barbarian. I'll see how much I can improve her in three days.

    		I'm guessing these high level ice v.s. ice matches are going to take upwards of ten minutes. Is the tournament on Thursday or Friday? I can't be there on Thursday.

    Possibly, but we are taking into account what element has good, free/non-SG chars, so SG buyers don`t get a big advantage.

    That would be great. Would be nice if your list would have a record of the winner of the tourney. We are also discussing a way to keep a record of the winners. Maybe like a list in the first post of every tournament. Nothing is decided yet. Let`s see how things go first. :-)

    It will likely begin on Friday. After the sign-up thread is closed, the bracket chart is made and the actual tournament thread is created, where everyone will be able to see against who they will go up against, coordinate their duels and discuss everything. Everyone will have a 48 hours period to start dueling or else they will be disqualified for not showing up.
