 Hello, DragonFablers!

This week we will be opening up a thread that will be dedicated for YOUR letters to some of the most notable (and some not-so-well-known) NPC's in DragonFable. This is your chance to tell NPC's what is on your mind!

This will not be a contest, it will be just for fun. Keep in mind:
  • ALL AE Forum Rules apply
  • If you want to get into greater detail with your letter, you can do so by following the guidelines set in the For those who like to write thread.
  • If you want to RP with your friends about a NPC, you can create an IRC channel.

    Why aren't you my Magiscience teacher? I feel like I've learned more from your impromptu lectures than I ever did in Magic School. So, tell me, how did you learn so much? What did you do before you were a Magus of the Rose? Were you a teacher? ...Can I hire you to tutor me if I promise not to give your soldiers concussions?

    Why aren't more of the rose like you and some of your subordinates? As in not overzealous magic should be oppressed totally people.
    I mean at least some of you guys can see that magic can be good not evil.
    Or is it different than that?

    Something I always wondered about you: what's your favourite book? Catching Fire? (*badumtish x4*) If you ever get tired of researching all day long, you could always relax by playing Fire Emblem... (*badumtish combo!*) or watch the movie How to Train Your Dragon! (*badumtish power!*)

    No, I mean, I really admire what you do. It's truly impressive spending your days with dangerous materials like that. You really like playing with fire, heh? (*badumtish overkiiiiiill*) Sorry for all the puns. I got a spark of inspiration. (*badumtish r-r-r-r-r-rampage*)

    Of all the Rose members I have encountered in my travels, your assistance and advice has been some of the most welcome. At the least, you are definitely one of the few I do not want to see on the opposite side of a battlefield.

    Your defense of Thursday, and dedication to finding a cure for the werewolves, speaks volumes of your kindness and empathy even for creatures who use magic.

    I hope that one day I will get a greater chance to work with you, and though I will never agree with the Rose's founding idea, it is a pleasure to know that it still possess members such as yourself.

    Hopefully this letter finds you well and in good health. Getting to the heart of the matter as I fear my time is short, there may be forces conspiring to sabotage your research. I cannot be sure of their identity, all I can say is to stay vigilant and guard it well. You never know who you can trust these days. Please, for the sake of countless victims that have fallen to this curse, never stop looking for an answer. Never doubt the good you will achieve with this cure.

    I am writting to inform you of what an honor it has been to work with you on attempting to find a cure for lycanthropy. Very few people that I have met in my travels have gone as in depth into the studies of parasitology and bacteriology, and while the rose shuns magic, you have embraced it to try and help all those in need. While many members of your organization have proven to be quite.......overzealous in their endeavors, you have attempted to approach it with a level head. For that, iI am grateful. Please, if ever you need another partner in the study of a disease or pathogen, feel free to contact me. My doors are always open to assisting in the needs of others!

    		Dear Magus Neron,

    PLEASE tell me you have some kind of blood replenishing potion. We're really gonna need about 30 vials when we bring Thursday back... She had a bad run in with our resident megalomaniac leech, Frydae. Sure, he was stopped (mainly due to a silver spear through the abdomen), but he nearly drained Thursday dry before I could get to him. I'm sending Zephyros ahead with this letter. Please have the medicine ready when we get back.

    As someone who has throughly examined magical healing, what is your opinion on the ever present topic of potions versus more... spell-casty forms of healing?
    Particularly the rumor that healing spells can actually reduce overall life expenctancy?

    		 Dear Magus Neron,

    attached you will find a few samples of... things that I'd like to have magically analyzed.

    Please don't ask where they are from.

    I know that some are smelly, some are moving, some are evil, obscure, disgusting, questionable, pink, poisonous, necrotic, presumably wooden, and that one is made of living ants, but please, do me the favor. Thank you.

    PS: If you should somehow enjoy this, there's a lot more of this in my backpack.
