I know most of you would object this post lol and feel that it is worthless but mercenaries are really very fat. I think staff should make them go on a diet and make them a bit slim... it looks odd when I dance with my mercenary.. HOPE u favor it lol :)

In order for this to be done they would also have the change all the merc armors mutating and non mutating to make this change work which would take a lot more time that can be used to balance the game.

Cause if they made merc's slim down but left the armors the same image how weird merc's would look like this.

They would need to hire a full time artist to slim down every merc armor in the game... not happening.

What about the slim women merc's? They swing their clubs with one hand as well.

@Mother1: Women tend to be stronger than men specially when they want to kill someone lol

@Ulquiorra: This is most likely not to happen.
As many players have mentioned, this would require to change the main base/template as well as remaking all the merc only armors. This would require a lot of time which could be used to make necessary art assets for future events.

Also, they aren't fat, they just have a bigger muscular composition :c

 Mercenaries are meant to be buffed up, so I don't really see an issue. I will admit I hate the way some armors look on Mercenary, but that's just my opinion and it surely isn't justification for them to redo armors.

I'll compare the mage and merc female armors. Notice how mercs are only slightly bigger:

- Mage Armor
- Merc Armor

Now let's compare women in real life who work out and someone who doesn't:

- Model who probably tries not to eat a lot to maintain body
- Totally ripped female Bodybuilder

As you can see, there is a noticable difference but not as major compared to some of the various sizes of men:

- Your average guy
- Totally ripped bodybuilders

And now let's go back to ED to compare the male Mercs and Mages:

- Mage
- Merc

And again notice the bigger difference between their sizes.

TL;DR The current sizes in ED are accurate in a way

There are actually plenty of armor these days that make mercs less fat.

So just pick one and leave it at that, mercs are meant to be more beefy, that's their profile.

However if you don't like this then simply get an armor that masks this fact and be done with it.

 This discussion has came up a few times and it is not really a suggestion that can simply 'just be implemented', because it would be such a long and complicated process of adjusting every single armour in the game made for mercs. Not only this, but Mercs and their armours are not created to look fat, but to be 'built up'. If you look at those who have truly worked out a lot, many arguably look 'big', but it's muscle, not fat.

Due to this not being something that is really open for discussion and has been discussed before, I am going to lock this up!
