The ability to remove cores (not built-in ones, the ones you need to place yourself). I'm surprised you can't do this now, unless I'm missing the way to do it. There's no reason to switch to another armor really, since about 30,000 credits (in my case) would be wasted if I did.

Place-able cores were never meant to be remove/switch to other armor. It has been that way since the start.

Why though? To waste more a lot more credits than necessary? Lots of things have changed from the start, and this doesn't seem to benefit anyone.

Yep I think this has been suggested by me and maybe others like a year ago. It makes sense to be able to do it. I don't get why the devs don't implement it. I guess they just want us to use more credits? But maybe in a way it can be good so that we are forced to use diff armors for diff builds :) However I wouldn't know since I only yet have one upgraded armor per character.
