Seeing as TM and TLM have two ways of gaining energy, maybe BM and BH should as well.

I support. And maybe Adrenaline Rush could give some energy, but then 4 turns cooldown (e.g.: +50% rage gives 50 energy), just for a small energy buff and some more flexibility. Then CH will be the only one with a unique skill to recover energy, but cooldown is lower.

Good Idea! And as for the staff saying reflex had conflicting effects, maybe they need to think deeper. It made you choose between doing no damage for 4 turns, or switching to energy weapons and giving them energy.

Energy gain on reflex is not so high, so it will be just a small buff for the weakest energy gainer classes. This will make them able to generate their own energy and I guess it will even make them able to beat some NPCs they actually can't (or not).

Kinda the reason it was removed, was because how counter intuitive it was to have a defensive skill that rewards players energy if they are not being defensive.

Plus it was pretty useless tbh in terms of energy regeneration. Wouldn't do much difference if it was around and not really a big game changer too. Imo.

Not supported because there was no real practical application. The skill was used 99% for the defensive buff and the extra energy regain was just a nice afterthought that was never factored into anybody's strategy. There are other skills which should be targeted to help these classes in terms of energy instead.

No, you guys don't understand. You see, the point of a reflex is to counter smoke and strength builds, which turns phys attacks into really weak stuff. Of course, they can also switch to energy weapons, but then they might give you enough for a heal, and anyway-BH and BM might just have a chance at the new bosses now with energy regen.

Actually i just thought i'd add, when dex bh was dominant reflex was used not only as a stat booster but for the extra energy regeneration whether that was for an extra stun, multi or heal since the builds natural resistance was fairly low and the obvious counter to dex bh was energy based attacks many dex bh players took advantage of the fact they could regain energy from from their weak point.

Again, I'm pretty sure this was just an afterthought that happened to "work" with the build so people made a big fuss out of it and pointed it out.

If they want to have a chance they need a way of gaining energy independent of the enemy. Not one reliant on how the opponent plays.

For most it may have been an afterthought however, there was a number of players who did use stuff such as the energy regeneration from reflex so that they'd be able to use more stuns, heals or multies. It works exactly like reroute did just at an lower%. Every tech mage/tlm before the reroute to battery change used the same method for their builds to work. It shouldn't be surprising that people did in fact use reflex not for the pure stat boost but also for the additional energy regeneration itself.

What you say is definitely true, but this was when the energy pool was nowhere near dynamic and that was the BH's and BM's only way of regaining energy aside from boosters. Right now where energy is gained and lost very quickly and very often I think they should be targeting and buffing other skills and stuff to see how it plays out. Also a good opportunity to fix overlapping skills.

To be honest the stage this game is at they are just as well doing a complete renovation during their process for changing to unity, because the amount of small mistakes they've made over the past 6-7 years during releases is absolutely staggering. What the devs should be doing now apart from mastering unity through the BioBeasts project, is actually planning what they want the unity version of ED to be. Do they want it to be the failing and dying game it is now, but converted to unity? Or do they perhaps aim to make ED one of the top MMORPGS out there, because there is honestly hundreds of releases they could do to improve this game to potentially make it like that. However everyone on the forums and even most players in game know the lack of regard the devs have for ED, so i doubt they'd even consider fixing all the current issues due to requiring some of their time and effort.

To be honest it was kind off counter productive to even have it passive give back energy as a secondary effect. Especially since you are spending energy to get energy. With Blood commander (The only other skill with a secondary effect similar to reflex boost) It made sense seeing as you spend energy to get strength and a passive HP steal, but with reflex boost as I pointed out counter productive.

You spend energy to get a buff, the energy is just a side effect
