The second round of Gameplay preview is out for BioBeasts with some UI changes from the original and no Developer commentary. I'll try to answer what questions I can about the game but without further ado here is the footage.

I'd get rid of that comma in the scores.

Looks interesting, would like to give it a try. Any idea when the alpha testing will begin?

played many games like this it's not something new ... and yet they give it a lot of drama and attention more than it needs and forget about what's important

a game like this will be bored of after few waves unless i like these types of games which i doubt cause most got smashed in matter of weeks .

I like the background music but the game itself seems pretty challenging.

Like many mobile games, it is not meant to be played for hours at a time. But rather a fun thing to do in-between things. When you have to wait for 15 minutes or something.
But I concur with battle Elf here. Interesting music and looks surprisingly polished ^^

Looks well polished and seems to perform nicely, I like it.
One piece of advice i would give: Those guitar tones, mang. Very tinny and high on the treble, may want to consider throwing an octave-down pitch shifter on it to give it a bigger sound.

Unlike the browser games we know mobile games go through their testing phases in-house as a buggy launch is very damaging to a mobile games rating. So you will just have to wait for the release of the game to play it

The Game concept isn't exactly new or original. But i guess AE always succeeds to make even the most boring things into interesting. So ya.. It's worth a try.

The goal isn't to always make something completely unlike anything on the market but to make something you, the creator, would really enjoy playing. It doesn't hurt to have a solid game-play loop because if you mess that up you are basically Evolve

I would say let's give ED/AE players the chance to test the game, since giving that opportunity to existant members of ED/AE team will only boost "fake confidence", as you know, some of these members
have used the same technique to integrate the team, by hypocrisy for example, worshiping the devs as another example. So yeah, since the game still has the time to receive some tweaks, maybe get some
sincere opinions first while you have the time to apply them, instead of launching a game you've been working on for the past 12 months now?

Do you want this game to end up like Sonic 06 and Sonic Boom (Wii U)? If you remember when Battle Gems first came out, people got their money taken due to a bug. I'm hoping the same doesn't happen with this game. But a non-ED team/non-AE staff member out of house testing will increase the chance of that kind of bug, or any annoying, noticeable ones of any kind. I do not mean to come off in a rude tone if it sounds like that to you, but do you want your money stolen?

Don't worry. BioBeasts will only be released once it is fully tested. This to ensure it has a positive release.
This is ont like a game like EpicDuel where there will be weekly releases.

And I ensure you, the people who test this do so sincerely. We want this game to be as successful as everyone here and want it to be fun to play.

Don't even mention Sonic 06. That game never happened.

Game looks fun though.

I mean I'm just saying, a game 4 or more developers have been working on for the past what, 9 - 12 months, is meant to be consumed between breaks, I mean that's something. I just hope it is worth
the 15 minutes at least, so you should probably pass the game to other players to reflect on a 12 months gaming up.

@Lord Machaar oh it will be worth the time it takes you to finally beat the game if this game is something that interests you. I was over the moon when I lost to the end game and half way to Mars when I finally beat it but then again I really enjoy this genre.

Also I'm not sure what you are on about with guests worshiping the Dev's? I mean we do have some Dage and Nulgath fans in the group but I highly doubt that is what you are referring to

Looks horrible and generic. It'll be hyped up for the first couple of weeks and a little longer and then people will forget about it. Recycling an old mobile game concept and slapping your company's name onto it does not mean it'll be successful... At least ED has a few hundred consistent players...

@OWA

I am sure everyone enjoys a different kind of game. Having AE tag on it doesn't make it gold. The secret to success in games in "something new" we all enjoy many kinds of games, doesn't mean we play it for lifetime. We still do get excited to play something different.

Haha, I'm just saying, maybe these guys have left, but believe me, many use the technique of hypocrisy to show themselves as civilized people, I mean should I blame them? The requirements to join the team are about having a clean sheet AKA lie to us that our games are perfect and flawless, and everytime you criticize us, you are an uncivilized player, I don't want to throw names here but some members supported awful Omega ideas while all players were against them? Why? To show devs as a member that I support them even at the game's worst states, I mean you are hurting the game more than building it, giving fake confidence to devs while their work is unacceptable.

As a member of the guest team I can clarify somethings for you. Pretending that the game is perfect and sucking-up to the devs really isn't a requirement for the team and isn't even a consideration. Often times we do not express some of our constructive criticism to the public, but bring it directly to the dev's since we want to shed a positive public image. Believe me, we know the game isn't perfect, but the goal of the team is to improve the game as best we can.

@Soul prisoner the secret to success for an indie game is magic. Now as stupid as that sounds there have been a lot of case studies that were read up on to see if we could do anything to shift things in our favor and we found out that we simply can't. Thre have been games that while being something very original and very well received by those who bought it only sold 150 copies in launch month. There are other games that aren't original or new but just fun that have sold extremely well.

Believe me when I say I want to believe you that there is a secret to success but the reality is that if you are an indie game no such things exists. The reality here is we can do everything right and the game still will flop but we have a built up community unlike most indie projects so that is less likely

@Battle Elf
Well, at least I'm trying to point out one of the many reasons that led to this bad state of ED, sure the game is not that bad because the player base is low, and some features like ranking system require
a bigger player base to work, yet still, if the devs have made some better decisions in the past, we could've been seeing a different, maybe better ED.

I hope this would be the case for Biobeasts, since I see that the devs are really attached to this game, just how they were with ED, but it wasn't good all the time as they selfishly thought they know better than
players, even more than that, they thought knew what players wanted, more than players knew what they wanted. I hope they get off of their high horse and give players the chance to say what they got.

If you ask me, in some cases they actually listened to players too much which led to some bad consequences.

There is a huge difference between listening to players and to their suggestions, and implementing them, the problem lays in the "actions" phase... everyone wants 2vs2 to get fixed, everyone wants jugg
battle mode to get fixed, everyone wants the war system to get fixed, but each and everyone one of us has a different method to fix them, devs in the end will choose one, sometimes none, and come up
with something totally irrelevant, for instance passives and how they dealt them, enhancements and how they dealt with them... etc... I think they took vague ideas and suggestions, and with very little
testing, they thought they figured out the problem, but in fact, they didn't...
