 The GEARS Games are now permanently available from your C-Mail screen at MechQuest.com! Equip your favorite House Mecha (or change your house) and go head-to-head in GIANT MECHA COMBAT!
The "war" functionality was removed, and all war meters set permanently at 100%.

Rolith also got holiday zone automation working. That means that each year, the Mogloween, Turdraken, Frostval and other holiday zones will be appear inside your C-mail screen.

Many thanks to Plank and our testers for help testing the Mechquest update, and to all of you super-fans for sharing your ideas and feedback
I'll keep an eye on your updated wishlist to see what else is possible, given our time.

In the future, we are considering adding reskins of currently-rare mecha for gold, SC, and NG. (Different art, same skills/stats, etc)
If we were going to do that, what mecha/equips would you like to see?

Nice, that's something the game kinda needed.

On topic of holidays, it'd be nice to see an item(s?) (Presumably for NGs) that'd give players year-long access to the holidays, just like basically all the other single-player games have at this point. In my opinion, it's one of the best ways to spend purchasable currency, you get permanent access to a bunch of items and CONTENT, even if it ended up being fairly costly.

 This is such good news, I cannot express my thanks enough. Holiday Mecha are the best!

Well one I JUST missed by the skin of my teeth, was the "Warbear PRO" I think it was as I upgraded just after it went, and the next montly appeared. From what I remember it was very popular as it's attacks are very strong. Are you referring to Monthly Mecha if they are allowed regarding currently rare? Or rare as in Holiday Mecha?

I agree with Baron. DragonFable recently implemented this feature (At a price of 5,000 DragonCoins) and something like that would be awesome for MechQuest.

As for returning mechas, some of the monthly mechas that weren't returned to the Star Captain shop would be nice. There used to be Star Captain monthly rare mechas for a year or two and then one of the last updates to the game was returning most of them in a permanent Star Captain shop, however not all of them returned. I think the missing ones are Nemesis, Warbear and Blademaster. Also, every 4th of July they released unique mecha models so I'd love if each unique one could come back re-skinned.

Just a quick question.

Will the Shadow versions of the house mechs be coming back? It's been quite some time, so I don't remember if they were available at the final GEARS Games. If not, they have my vote for content that should return.

I agree with Plank, as well. Having the remaining monthly mechs as well as the 4th of July mechs back would be wonderful, especially if they scaled to max level.

 @Plank & Baron Dante: There are starship items that are typically available for the holidays. If you look around the frostvale menus and other related events, you can typically find the items that already delegate these. However there are a few other events that I'd like to have replayable. Most notably the EC war, 4oJ, and the old shadowsythe moon wars. The SDF mechas could be re-released and be given new effects.

As I've said before, it's a pity that a lot of assets are made rare just for the sake of it. But being realistic, who is still holding on to the value of old content? How many players are still out there playing mechquest? Do they still even care about the game, more or less what happens to the rares? I truly think it's time for the staff to take a hard look at *actually* re-releasing content instead of just making re-skins. The staff will likely never do this, but we should really think about it.

Hey there, it's been years since I've last played or been on anything related to AE games. I just want to say thank you very much for doing this. MechQuest was perhaps one of my favorite games out of anything you guys made. This is perhaps one of the best moves you could have done short of giving the game entirely to the fans of MQ as a standalone install-able game (which is probably not possible). I just had a feeling of wanting to play MQ again and it would be great to see more past events and items available to play around with.

SDF mechas and the Delta Leaders can be a thing, since we last saw their existance a decade ago.

There is also a back arm item, shadow of doubt, that would attract a lot of attention when it is returned in some form.

Reskinned Pirate Adrimal for TLaPD? Would be a nice addition to the traditional TLaPD rares.
Maypril Fools weapons and mechas would also be content I'd like to see. Would love to get my Derpmachine back...

Honestly? War Bear if possible.

Besides that, the SteamPunk mochas and the Kaled mecha (not the snake ones, the ones you get access to If you have valour badges) from Westion, one of the wars.

 Where is shadowhawk, shadowraven and shadowwolf? Their exclusion is puzzling...
Did they not even get released in this update? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Edit: Yeah... they aren't perma-rare. The DX series (sold 2010 to 2011) was available for both GEARS Games while to PV series (sold 2012 onwards) was available at GEARS 2012 and later made available again in October 2013 for the 10-25 sale.
Hopefully they are added in the next update???

I would have to agree, I tried to do it, but I only ever seem to get only 1 betrayal token. All the other times did not give me a chance to do it again.
