i know it says this up above but i cant figure out how to take a screenshot plz someone help me with this. I kno wu have to press the printscreen button but after that im lost any assistance would be most appreciated

Once you pushed Print Screen go to a paint (seems like the general default one) and then to edit>>> Paste. You can not right click paste or Control V IIRC so that's the only option left.

Check out Niko's hard work:

Basic Image/Forum/Sig Guide

And my Cliff's Notes-esque version (lol)

Basic summary:

1. Save your picture

2. Host it on Photobucket or Imageshack

3. Copy the IMG code

4. Remove the already provided [IMG][/IMG] tags

5. Put [image] before the code and [/image] afterwards

The program they are talking about scalled microsoft paint. It is installed on any stock computer with a windows operating system even as old as windows 95. It should be able to be found at Start menu-Programs-Accessories-Paint. After pressing the Prt Sc button, open up this program and paste it into the canvas. Pasting can be done via ctrl+v or edit-paste. Then, simply save the image. After, go to http://www.photobucket.com, create an account, and upload the image. After logging into your account, you can upload images by clicking the browse button near the top-center of you screen, finding you image, and then clicking upload. It will confirm that your image has been uploaded, and you simply have to scroll down, copy the direct link to the image, and post here where it is needed.

I hope thtis helped. This is as blunt and as straight-forward as possible.

dont put the url= and the brackets, just put the link inbetween [image][/image]

like this:

[image]http//i121.photobucket.com/albums/o231/roceskater721/testpic.jpg[/image]

-copy and paste that

You can also use the lowercase version of the [IMG} tags

[img][/img]
