This thread is not to be confused with RabbleFroth's post with the whole faction revamping system but it is slightly similar and a little different to what Rabble's thread has. First off, we all know the faction cannons will be temporarily removed next week since it's making this game too p2p or p2w. Well I was thinking the other way around. If cannons are removed then that means the War Kills in your faction including the Warlord achievement and top war kill leaderboards will be removed. But what if it can be revised to a much simpler way. Instead of making war kills count from cannons or hire George Lowe to do your dirty work for this war, why not revamp it to counting as defeating war npc's or fighting a player from the opposing alignment. It clearly makes more sense than firing a cannon and "killing" people that gains war kills.

If you think my thread is the same as Rabble's ideas and/or you think "King FrostLich, you stupid, little noob Rabble has everything in his post." then please just keep that in your head and if an AK wants to remove/move this thread then please just move the posts to Rabble's thread.

supported.

i guess that would emphasize if who is the more dominant alignment, the legion or the exile which is the main reason for this war.

I think Rabble is more or less on the right track, we won't really know until it is implemented though as with everything that is discussed here. This idea though would ruin what the current war kill players spent a ton of money for whereas, taking cannons completely out, does not necessarily mean that they will remove the current war kill board from the game.

Either way, cannons will still be removed since it was just a complete waste of money and was clearly one highlight of ED being so expensive and too money-based. Just let them go and that's why the war kills should just be revamped into war npc's.

this topic is a lot like Rabblefroths

The war kills imply that their are ten's of thousands of people involved in the war, but when you look at Fortune City, lucky if it houses
more than 200 :P I think that idea could be dropped and a more realistic figure used, and King Frostlichs fac vs fac idea.

I like the idea. However, I would prefer it if war cannons were simply to become much less pay-to-use. Perhaps they should a system rather like the Frysteland war, only with even more emphasis on f2p options.
