Chairman Platinum of EbilCorp is leading an army of corporate ninjas and mercenaries to Fortune City to claim the entire planet in the name his corrupt enterprise. The Chairman is confident, by he's no fool -- he knows that he'll need to offer something good to win over the battle-hardened populace.

Platinum's Pride

Chairman Platinum believes you must dress for success, whether it's in business or intergalactic domination. For that reason, EbilCorp scientists have created a specially-designed power suit, engineered to withstand superhuman amounts of punishment, and has the ability to mutate along with its wearer's class. It also allows the wearer to unleash a devastating special attack.

Chairman's Fury is a one-time use, selectable skill that can be used at any time in battle to unleash a powerful uppercut. More details will be revealed soon!

This item will be available as a 5-Key Varium package as soon as we release on Wednesday September 26th. A level 25 version will also be available as a 3-Key package. Both will be available in-game.

A wild Dage appears! That's right, Dage the Evil has taken up residence on Delta V and he will come offering new LQS items of his own twisted creation. This new color custom bike, Dage's Blood Rider, is just a taste of the twisted treastures Dage is bringing to EpicDuel!

Bye-Bye Infernal Weapons

Due to the addition of Platinum's Pride promotional armor, we will be removing the Infernal Interdictor and Pyro Fly packages from the Varium shop and all the other Infernal and Mechachillid items from the in-game merchants. The Infernal Interdictor and the Pyro Fly will also be sellable. The key exceptions are the Infernal Android and the Mecha Cruiser, which are permanent items.

i think ill be glad i didnt get the infernal interdictor. i had a feeling the next promo would be better. and YAY, my pyro flies will finally be sellable!!!
im definitely gonna be getting the bike. it just looks too cool. hope its not varium though.. but even if it is it wont matter, because im getting the
10k varium pack with the update.

Finally I can sell those extra pyro flys I got and more rare stuff is coming out. However I hope they tested these things before throwing them out on us. Because remember what happened with the infernal android it was way OP and if this is OP then it will case bash lash all over again.

I hope the armor isn't hybrid. The last few armors we've gotten have all been hybrid. Kinda sad the Mecha weapons are leaving, was hoping to grab the energy aux but didn't have time. :(

King frostlich non varium players only had access to the rusted assault bot and before that only the assault bot when the first arcade was active but even then it was a slim chance of winning it. To take it away now would only leave them with the rusted assault bot, and thanks to the bot balancing it is weaker then before. Do you really think it is far to take away the infernal android leaving them with only the rusted assault bot?

Until they make this new trend work with all items (making everything but promo's) buy able with credits I say leave it in the game for them. The gap is between varium's and non variums is slowly closing lets not go backwards and extend the gap between the two by taking the bot away.

ED logic = Infernal Android has credit and varium options to pay. Every player will simply get the credit version and just because it's non varium doesn't mean it closes the gap. It's a robot and in this game, it is used as an extra attack and since it is available for everyone, will that stop tank tact mercs from getting it? Nope, it doesn't close the gap it still opens it because it has a credits version and robots work differently than how weapons are.

King frostlich well taking the bot away won't close the gap either. Besides why do you want it to become perma rare like all the other infernal items? if it did non variums would only have the rust bot. besides if the staff made something just for non variums you know the varium players who pay to play or earn to pay will have a cow even if it was to fix balance.

Besides as I stated before non variums have only two bots to choose from while variums have 4 (until the next update then it will be 3) do you really think it would be fair to make it rare so they only have the rusted assault bot to choose from which is the weakest of all bots?

Yes it does. Just because it is a bot for non variums doesn't mean everything for them should stay. They already have the infernal weapons and the harbinger weapons. The Infernal Android encourages power type builds especially non variums which compared to field medic, will not compensate its damage every turn that passes. Don't forget, even 4 focus varium versions are still considered strong especially in variums so either way, it doesn't mean that giving one bot as a perma rare makes non variums mad. It's from the infernal war and considering where and why these bots were made, it's a reward not a permanent item given away but I guess that's how ED works. Whether you like it or not, this bot will soon make a tank class overpowered once again.

Since I hardly belive that this new armor is gonna be better than the all mighty Delta Knight I'll prolly end up getting some of the Dage's stuff since let's be honest, it's Dage... Epicness Overflow...

@frost The Harbinger Husk and other Non varium version items from the LQS shops are going rare and probably won't be back until next year for DragonCon. To take the bot away is completely removing the bridge that allows non variums to compete on a more fair ground with varium players.

King frostlich all bots work with focus not just the infernal android. Plus I see tanks builds with focus doing the same thing with every single bot not just the infernal android. I seen tanks do this with the bio borg, as well as the Gamma bot. Heck when I used a focus tank build I did the same thing with my Azreal borg. So while the infernal android does get power (since it is the bot's ability) every other bot can be used with tank builds just the same. I think the only reason you say that is because this bot is the non varium version of the gamma bot with and extra ability.

But on the subject of war bots what about the baby yeti? When Frostland ended it didn't go rare. In fact they didn't remove it (for the season not permanently) until the infernal war started. By your logic the baby yeti should have went perma rare when frostland war ended but like the infernal android it is still in the game, except it is seasonal rare bot instead.

im unsure about all of this if they have nerfs with classes then im all for ebilcorp joining but if nothing happens i dont see the point ofthem joining if everything is gunna stay the same.

First paragraph, since it's available for credits and varium alike I can simply get the bot but that thing is overpowered compared to baby yeti.

As for the second, the baby yeti functions differently and it costs 1900 varium similarly as other robots are. And at that time before the robot balance, the special attack was blockable and can only be used once so if it gets blocked, it's nothing but a physical bot with frostbite if you have a frost weapon. Also, even if it remained permanent in game, I don't seem to care. When Frysteland was over, everyone didn't seem to care about the baby yeti. Why? The special attack was worthless and the assault bot was still dominant at that time.

The points I was trying to make was that the only reason anyone is complaining about the infernal android being OP is because of it's special ability to gain power with time. If you removed that it would be nothing more then a weakened version of gamma. Also Even before this bot came along Strength and focus tank builds were dominating anyways (Str being the str BM and focus Tanks being CH and TLM) Plus the bot was hit with several hard nerfs as it is. Are you saying you want it nerfed again? If so how should it be nerf? Remove it's ability to gain power over turns? Make the cap damage 100% or less? Cause if you did the second you might as well remove it bot's special since it would be as I stated a weakened version of gamma.

For the longest time the gamma bot rained supreme over all other bots in terms of damage output. However a new bot comes along that surpasses it and now everyone's panties are in a bunch and even when the bot gets a decent nerf people are still calling for a nerf so it won't be more powerful then the gamma bot. Well news flash While gamma was the most powerful for a while it was bond to happen that another bot would eventually take it's place. Until the staff stats otherwise everyone is going to have to accept that this new bot has the potential to be more powerful then gamma.

As for the my second point I only said because as I stated the baby yeti is a war bot as well but it never went away until the next war started. Plus from what I read on wiki it will be coming back unlike the gamma bot, azreal borg, bio borg, and pyro fly when today's update comes. Heck I am surprised that they didn't make the pyro fly seasonal rare instead of rare but hey the pyro fly is the first war bot that will be going perma rare.

But to be honest you know why the assault bot rained over the baby yeti? Because of it's ability to nerf debuffs. In Jug fights it is the bot of choice since jugs needed it to survive against debuffs that could kill them, and as the staff said when they nerfed the bot it was the most useful. Compared to removing debuffs a bot with a blockable special of course the baby yeti would have a hard time competing with that. Heck most of the bots in the game are hard pressed to compete even it perma rare counterpart which is my bot of choice (AKA the Azreal borg)
