this is a pretty stupid idea but eh i got nothin to lose, and i thought it would be more interesting and fun if there was a 3vs3.

Long story short:

-It existed for a small amount of time during alpha.
-Was a bad idea because of being "teamed and dying in one round?". (like all 3 vs 1 on the enemies)
-They removed it.

Only support if the staff tried again with the new breed of players / battle engine.

 I don't really think it'll be worth it until they allow buddy linking. The fact that wasn't implemented upon release of 2v2 is a strong indication of a lack of desire from the devs to see the game grow into a stronger community based game. It would greatly raise the popularity of the game and increase revenue. Right now, the inability to allow for PvP grouping is pretty much the most unappealing feature in the game to myself and many of my friends that play. Adding another team based fight mode wouldn't be much fun unless you have the ability to coordinate with people you can trust. Not to mention, the prior post speaking about a heavy focus; in order to make a 3v3 team viable, you'd need a flat damage reduction percentage across the board to allow it to be more complex.

EpicDuel isn't ready for this. I hate 2v2 since it will turn not a a juggernaut straight away most of the times. Nothing has been done for this situation.

I remember reading somewhere that the Devs tried it once but that the actual battles lasted too long. Also I would imagine disconnects would happen a lot more/there would be massive lag issues if you had to connect with 5 other players at once.
