Yes they said it was to be released Dec. 14th and here we are, a month and some odd days ahead.
But that gives no reason to go on threads and rage the ED team, coding is a rather difficult thing, especially when it comes to such a huge update as this one. (re-doing an entire system!)
Nevertheless, your anger and frustration is felt, and it's understandable.
But please understand that one single line of coding can mess up the entire darn thing, it isn't easy, and can also be frustrating.
So please, no more rage threads.

Easiest thing would be that they just say they are working on it, keep us updated and set a release date when it goes into testing phase

You know, that all though I agree with you.


Making a thread telling people not to be mad, is just gonna make those already mad or impatient a reason to rage further in this thread.


So basically the best thing we can do to show we are not mad , and are patient is ignoring those who arn't.

My opinion anyway.

amazing its not about getting the staff to like you. its about voicing your opinion of all the players who are raging on the devs.
rebuilding an entire system isnt easy, but some of you think that the devs are just messing with by not releasing yet. this isnt
true. they want to release as much as we do, but they want to perfect it before they release it.

 I am one of those who is still angry on them, simply because they promised us a release multiple times, and has gives us nothing.
I simply dont care about Omega anymore, only thing i want is the Golden Yeti, and if the tournament does not start before the 10th of february, then they lost a lvl 78 gamer that has invested tons of money in this game.

Simply because they failed to estimate a date. I can understand it takes this long, but then dont give us dates.
Very simple to avoid and yet they failed in it.

But these kind of topics make me even more angry like remorse said, but i dont rage here.

 @Xsentas i know coding takes time , but seriously ... 6 extra weeks over the 4 they already had been preparing for ? miscalculating the deadline by 6 weeks ???

I agree Zeph :)

They will have lost a level 49 gamer, who has also invested huge amounts of money in the game - due to the fact, coding isn't all that difficult - just have 5 people working 10hours daily on different scripts.

given us nothing? are you serious? we are getting to participate in an elite tournament, got 2 promo packs for the price of one,
frost weps were added, we are getting compensation, omega is nearly ready, what more do you want? a pat on the back?
how about 1 billion credits? omega is almost here man. just be patient.

Wrong. Compensation for the delay for the special promo package. $100 package worth $50 (2-in-1). This was said in the DNs. Best deal since Founder.

Ha Ha Someone should ask the devs if we get anything for waiting 2 monts for the release and all these delays...

Like cmon really, it's been enough time for ppl to start thinking of quitting this game due to these delays.

They should award us for our pacience with them somehow...

I would like to add that the 2 for 1 is not 2 for 1
It's more like 1.5 for 1, since you aren't getting double the varium and double the credits

the dev's are working HARD in order to make the release the soonest possible time. i used to be one of those members on this forum who are really complaining with the delay. But after a thorough analysis of the situation, it all goes down to the wire that we really can't do anything about it. We have no control about it, only the dev's know when the release is ready. (although we can now see the progress on the DN). in short, complaining about this and about that doesn't really helped a lot. It was proven many times already. The only thing we can do now is to patiently wait. If we had waited for the release for more than a month, the more reason we can wait for it for just a couple of days. Don't expect for the release this week if you don't want to get disappointed. If they release next week, its still fine. If they release this week, much better. its a win-win situation for us.

Relax, it will come... If I quit they will lose a lvl 20 gamer... Oh wait... I won't quit over a few weeks of delay on something very difficult that they have always delayed on, especially since this is the most difficult set of changes of all.....

Why do you think they did that, not because they suddenly changed mind.
No they did because we made it clear to them it wasnt a smart move.

Well rage quitting won't get you anywhere, again, your anger is understandable, and yes they should have an actual release date before making it public.
Nevertheless, if you wish to quit, then there's nothing stopping you, it's your choice, we're not stopping you.
Though it'd be good to read the post title, ".. sit back and relax."
Because that's all we can do, and no post is going to make them work any faster or harder then they already are. ;)

Ya know, development may end today, and testing may take up tomorrow, and a release may occur February 1. We are at an estimated 95% right now, and at the development speed it currently is- but averaged too (% per day), this may be true.
