Now plz read the whole post before you say that this would be OP ^^


The distant future...where fighters still swing swords and clubs like cavemen...

Let's add a new weapon types to the game: ranged primaries.

So the way this will work is, these guns give just as much stats as a sword. Base damage is equal to a class specific weapon. Instead of being blockable, they are deflectable.

Only certain classes have access to certain guns. Hunters get dual pistols. Mages get like shotguns. Mercs could have an LMG.

Ultimate skills could have a different animation when they are used. Massacre: a barrage of shots. Supercharge: channel magic into your gun to fire a HUGE energy shot. Mercs don't need any special animation to take out their IPhone and call a satellite.

MANY skills will be negated due to using guns. Example: cheap shot, venom strike, double strike, beserker, maul, plasma bolt, overload, plasma rain, fireball.

Ranged primaries will have enough cons to balance their pros, so I don't see a problem with this balance wise.

Well these to trade for these gun's awesome powers, they disable many of your skills, even more than swords.

Only except for Massacre and Supercharge

i actuly ment the animation's :p
theres only one thing.
it must be compatible with normal class weapon and sword

Well for massacre: your pistols glow red like the wrist blades. And then...BAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAM!

For supercharge: Mage throws his fist up and becomes surrounded with energy. Lots electricity and stuff. The gun flows blue then fires a huge shot.


Btw, what do you mean to be compatible with the class wep or a sword?

my english isnt very good and under compatible i ment that compared to the sword and blades - staff - maul it would not be too good nor too bad

Not supported.
Too much work of art since they are most likely going to be lazy to do it.
That includes for the programmers as well since they'll have to put on requirements on weapons.

Having not enough time isn't really an excuse for ideas not to be implemented :P
