Hey everyone, I was messing around for the past week or so and found a really great TM build. It absolutely stomps right now and I've beaten probably 80%+ of all the level 40s I have faced despite the fact that I'm currently level 37. Give this build a try if you're interested, especially for those lower-level people struggling with the high density of level 40s that you have to fight against.

Base Stats:
Level 37
922 HP
634 EP
20+10 STR
51+32 DEX
121+32 TECH
17+0 SUPP
All Armor points into defense

922 HP:
Perfect amount of HP to not die if you get crit twice or something. Also works nicely with the strong field medic and critical heal synergy that you have.
634 EP:
You don't really need more than this amount since you're TM and you basically never run out of energy anyways
Strength:
Put your extra points here for assimilation. Conversely, you can put them into support to get crit a bit less often but strength is gonna be slightly more reliable
Dex:
Good amount of defense. Just a bit under your resistance in total but high enough to block people every now and then.
Tech:
Just dump the rest of your points into here
Support: You will get crit and stunned a lot. This can boost your aux damage by a bit but I still prefer strength for the stronger assimilation drain

Skill Tree:
9-1-3
1-1-1
1-M-1
M-1-0

Field Medic:
You actually want a super high field medic. In most cases people will find it hard to stop your heal, and your battery backup gives the perfect amount of energy to always have field medic up as long as you used battery backup. Healing 706 HP with critical heal with the tankiness that you have is really strong and people who just lack the consistent damage to deal with it cannot face you at all
Plasma Bolt:
3 skill points is the perfect amount. It doesn't cost too much energy at all and packs a good punch, dealing pretty nice damage. If you can afford to spend your energy then use this skill unless you're waiting for supercharge instead. Knowing when to use this skill rather than supercharge or saving your energy will determine whether or not you can win with this build. Learn when to use which skill and you will be very successful.
Battery Backup: Maxed since there really isn't any other place to put skill points in. You do NOT want to put your points into other skills since it will raise your energy costs.
Assimilation: Maxed out since, more importantly than the energy recovery, this is your only reliable draining move. In almost all situations save it until right after your opponent uses battery backup or their main recovery skill to shut it down.
SuperCharge: Use this for some nice damage (especially against tanks where plasma bolt doesn't do much), as well as a bit of heal. Note that you will heal pretty good amounts against people with low resistances. Costs a lot of energy and will not do much more damage than plasma bolt unless you're against tanks so if you're going for raw damage plasma bolt is typically the better option

Equipment:
Frost Destroyer-A staff with frostbite active. If you don't have this then opt for a staff with frost shards. You NEED the energy drain core very very badly.
Azrael's Anguish P-Really the core doesn't make much of a difference. Aside from your spells this is really your only reliable source of damage so make sure it's physical. Energy shot is a good alternative core since you lack energy draining options and it can really help in a pinch these days.
Any Armor: Just grab critical heal and generator. Get crazy heals from generator and a bit of energy. When you're low critical heal will boost your heal by a ton and just make you seem unkillable.
Energy eggzooka: Aux doesn't matter. You could go for Azrael's aux to stop field/blood commander but it doesn't make a difference in most cases. You could also get a physical aux too if you wanted. Stun blast is the passive that you want on this for the random stuns which can give you an edge. The crit core also helps but this is a decision up to you. Your aux has very little impact since it barely does more damage than your strike and most of the time you won't even be using it.
Pyro Fly: If you don't have this bot you will probably not do too well. Sorry but I can say that this robot is seriously broken and is one of the main reasons I can stand up to most of the level 40s that I face. You get their energy recovery skill, follow up with frostbite into assimilation and they're screwed. They typically can't outdamage your tankiness + high field medic combo at that point. You take out their main damage spell? The same thing happens. You take out mark of blood? Just tank it up and outsustain them since they can't heal reliably. Just by owning this robot your win rate will shoot way up. If you don't have it then you're gonna have a tough time. Stick to another bot with utility that you can use if you don't have this one.

Strategy:
Hard to explain strategy since this type of build hardly follows an algorithmic process. All I can say is that you need to know just as a good player when to use your energy and when to save it. A big tip I can give you against battery backup users is in almost all cases, save your assimilation until the turn AFTER they use battery backup. This will stop them in their tracks. Aside from that know when to use plasma bolt vs. supercharge. You will very often get the option of using either multiple times in a battle so play around with the build and figure out when to use what.

Builds you Stomp:
Support TLM: Yup. You absolutely crush these guys. Unless they get a double crit and not get deflected with their aux which will probably not happen you will most likely win. They can crit you a ton to screw you over too but that's an unavoidable fate. However, in general you will win most of the time. Pyro fly on turn 1 always (against any build) and play according to the situation. As usual, save your assimilation for after their battery backup. If pyro fly gets their battery, frostbite and assim as soon as you safely can. Always make sure you have enough energy to heal and don't drop below around 230 or you may get cheesed by a crit and die.
Dex BH: I'm convinced this build sucks anyways but I see these guys a lot. Pyro fly kills them instantly since they have no choice but to invest in the same 3 skills which are all essential. Just be wary of stun into rage multi shot, because it can kill if you aren't careful.
High HP builds in general: I'm talking about 1300 HP. Just tank it up entirely and they can't do anything to you. When you do attack them you will chip them for tiny 100s but they won't be able to outheal you and you will eventually outdamage them. Also getting a single block will probably win the battle for you

Builds that will give you a hard time:
BH Focus: Arguably your hardest counter, these guys drain all your energy and don't really need energy to fight you, particularly if they are a higher level than you. All you can do is pray you hit static grenade with pyro fly.
Focus Builds in general: Supposing you're playing against people who are level 40 and you're level 37 or something around there, unless you hit the right skill which is typically a 1/3 chance you're screwed. They just have higher numbers and will eventually be able to stop your heals with their drains unless they're like a TLM or something in which case their poison hurts a ton. It's still possible to beat these guys but most of the time against competent people you will need pyro fly to hit the right skill.
Bulky Strike Builds: Talking about the 1000-HP ish strike builds. They're tanky enough to not get slowly chipped away by you and will still hurt a lot with their consistent damage that you eventually lose the ability to outheal against.
Pyro Fly: Well. Good luck. If it hits field medic you're screwed. If it hits battery backup you're screwed. If it hits assimilation you have a chance but only if your pyro fly hits their energy recovery skill as well.

This is just kind of an informal write on a discovery I've made. I'm sure other people have used this build recently but I just never see them at all in PvP, so I decided to share it. If you have pyro fly (seriously, it's almost a necessity if you want to stand a chance of winning against higher levels) then try this build out because it's insane. The build itself isn't particularly strong, but it does end up hard countering a lot of the more common builds that exist right now so its win rate is pretty high.

Finally someone who has thought outside the box with TM and even at level 37!

You my friend have gone through a lot to create this build/post and i really hope that you get the recognition that you deserve.

As for the build itself, i'm actually a little surprised that a caster builds works so well but i can imagine that the focus builds can give you a hard time. I'd Love to battle you one day though!

Thanks for the comments!

Funny thing was I actually made this build when doing a 2v2 quest since everyone was a level 40 so I just tried to make a build that didn't die quickly and was designed to dump resources into my ally.

this build is extremly old, it was super op after a patch which buff the plasma bolt (that was able to inflict around 1100 dmg if you go full tech, lol), then got nerfed.
