Yeah, this is my suggestion for now. Devs don't like botters. Juggernaut is giving free wins to botters. Devs are giving privileges to botters (accidentally). So I suggest to close juggernaut mode immediately for mainentance while you guys think of something to prevent botting juggernaut mode. Maybe hearing some of my suggestions like "giving NPC wins instead of juggernaut wins when you get to find ONLY NPC in juggernaut mode" or something alike. Fighting 2 NPCs and getting a PVP win is definitely a BUG.

Unfortunately I'm no MODERATOR but I still care about the game and I'm suggesting this as if I was one, because I still think the game can be fun again. Just pay attention carefully to suggestions that make sense and don't break the game.

I agree it should be temporarily closed for adjustments.

How about the staff actually stepping up and banning these bots no warnings like it should be? Seriously it is because of these botters that

1) loss rewards and EXP took a nerf
2) NPC drop sell back is a joke
3) Items have lower drop rate

the list goes on and personally I feel they need to just ban these bots rather than make close down an entire battle mode just because of these abusers.

The devs are too lazy to ban every botter, it would be much easier for them to just disable jugg and make the required adjustments.

@ Satafou

And it is because of this that we (the legit players who don't bot) end up always getting the short end of the stick. Cause by trying to discourage botting with these methods they are in turn also hurting their legit players as well and it is extremely annoying. the bots don't care because they can will still do it anyways when they find a way to exploit it again.

Plus even before this change happened people were still botting juggernaut with the help of dummy alts. What would stop them from doing this all over again if they shut down jug and made Adjustments?

If they were botting jugg prior to the NPC implementation I can assure you their win ratio's were horrid, it's not the same for 1vs1 where a smart bot can surprisingly get +70%.

At the end of the day, nothing the players say on the forums matter. We cannot change the devs work ethic, whether we flame the devs or polish their shoes clean it makes no difference. The only thing that will encourage the devs to actually do work for the game is their own desire to do work. It's not a secret that the devs don't play their own game. With that being the case, how can people seriously expect them to go out their way and grind some serious progress? They don't even like their own game and they haven't for years.

I think this is the reality some of the community has to face, the devs simply aren't interested with ED anymore. It's old for them and updates to them now feel more like a chore than anything else. Look how exited the devs were when they had the opportunity to create Biobeasts. It was something completely new and exciting, they actually had motives and goals to abide by. Those motives and goals for Epicduel however are just an inanimate relic of the past.

@Satafou it's almost like working on a platform that wasn't from the technological Stone age, is receiving support from its creators, and isn't being phased out by the internet at large is encouraging to the developers.

Glad someone else is finally noticing that.

I messaged the devs yesterday mentioning that there are a lot of botting problems with jugg after the patch. I will follow up and see if they have any plans for it, and hopefully it'll get addressed soon.

has ten 1v1 wins

This has been brought to attention of the dev and moderation team. However, since most dev staff are celebrating the Holidays, no large changes (like disabling jugg) will be made in the immediate future.

Our moderation team has tools that detect botters and will continue to punish accounts that violate the Terms of Service.
