Hey there, heroes!

Happy May the 4th! To celebrate, we're releasing a pair of very special items! The Lost Starsword of Doom, and the Lost Starsword of Destiny are now available from the Book of Lore.



These beautiful cosmetic weapons were created by Dracelix and are available for 400 DCs each, but when shown or equipped, have a chance to apply their respective Doom or Destiny DoT on your foe when you use the Attack button (Does not stack with normal Doom or Destiny weapons)!

(30% chance on Attack, 50% base weapon damage DoT for 3 turns)

The Lost Starsword shop will only be available for 2 weeks (leaving with the release on May 15th) so make sure to grab them while you can!

They both look really good! As an Star Wars fan I really appreciate that Dracelix took the time to create those Star Swords for May the 4th and I hope every year we get new Star Swords.

I think they're gorgeous pieces. My only problem is they're cosmetic, not functional. I mean, they don't have to be UBER, but average would've helped me justify the 400DC more

I bought because it's pretty. But I am extremely disappointed with the special.
I am not a fan of the effects that trigger only "on the attack button".
I would have very much preferred to have a small% chance of triggering a small bonus whatever the hit. A little heal? A light over time damage? A little more mana?

I bought because it's pretty. But it's something I wouldn't use.

Already, there is the main problem: it requires an inventory space while it only counts as cosmetics.
So I need an inventory spot "just for that".

I already have "real" weapons that can be used in cosmetics for equivalent or more effective effects.

Replace the effect of "The Quadstaff III" because I want to use "Lost Starsword of Doom" when I do the quests?

Impossible ! It would be to shoot himself in the foot, replacing a regeneration of life / mana by a bonus which will never be triggered, because I never use the button "attack" when I face "small monsters".
