I pressed the download button for deviant art, then I double click on the file and that's what happens.

I think your computer is generically trying to open the file with that word pad. Instead of double clicking the file, right click and select winrar to extract the file.

if you have winrar downloaded, it is automatically set as the preference for .zip and .rar files. Also, does the file look like three books strapped together.

Does this happen to other brushes or just this one?

I finally found out why it was opening up a code. Vista assigned NotePad to open up the .zip files so I had to download program to open .zips and then manually assign that to open up the .zip instead of NotePad

EDIT:Oh, lol. Sorry, LA. Didn't see your post there

That's because you have to search for them in Deviant Art using the search tool. If you don't you'll just see links to other people's work
