"The Mystic Order"

In a fine day, during the meeting of the members in the "Mystic Order", They discussed all sorts of matters be it short or small or big or long...

Mystical Warrior: So our agenda for today is to train each other to further our strengths in helping during a war.
Nightmare Warrior: Nah...I'll pass...I'll just go train myself...you're better off training the 2 weakest members in our order if you want...Hahaha!

Nightmare Warrior then leaves the table and goes off by himself to train...

Mystical Wizard: Honestly...He can be so blunt sometimes.
Mystical Warrior: Well at least he doesn't plan on back stabbing us now that he out-powers you Mystical Wizard.
Mystical Wizard: True. If he wasn't as good as you in the wars I would've killed him the moment you two were split apart.
ZaneLegend: So...should we begin our training now?
ArchKnight Seyren: I agree...I want to get stronger so that I can help in wars too you know. Since that is the main goal of our order.
Mystical Warrior: Very well then...let us begin the training outside. Better prepare yourselves as I won't lighten up on you.
Mystical Wizard: We will have a 2 on 2 battle. Me and Mystical Warrior will team-up. While you two will be partners so that you will be trained to fight stronger foes than you. Its alright if you can't beat us, just hold out as long as you can.

The four members then proceeds outside to begin their training...

Mystical Warrior: Now then let us begin...Prepare yourselves! I'll go at full power!

Mystical Warrior takes a stance and his sword started glowing and the ground around him starts to quake...

ZaneLegend: The hell...he's starting off with "Flash Cut" so soon >_>
ArchKnight Seyren: Quickly Zane! Back to back!

Right after the two have their backs at each other, Mystical Warrior disappears from their sight leaving only a stream of light...

Flash Cut!!!

Barely but successfully their back to back strategy worked and parried all of Mystical Warrior's attacks...

ZaneLegend: We can't be defending all the time...we need to attack too...you have any plans?
A.K. Seyren: Yeah...I have one...I'll use one of my sword techniques...As soon as I halt M. Warrior's movement you go in for the attack. Ready?
ZaneLegend: Let's do this!

Seyren jumps in the air and his sword started to glow in an earth like color...He then smashes the ground making fissures and a strong quake that reaches at least 50m in diameter from his point...

Crater Smash!!!

Because of the intensity of the quake and formation of the fissures, it slowed down Mystical Warrior's technique...ZaneLegend then rushes to him quickly while forming hand signs...After the hand signs are finished ZaneLegend's spear started to become ethereal in nature...enough to even cleave the soul of the victim...

Hidden Spear Art: Phantom Spear!!!

But just before ZaneLegend connects his attack...he was interrupted by Mystical Wizard's defensive spells...

Fence of Gaia!!!

Mystical Wizard: Heh...Not on my watch...you won't be landing hits that easily!
Mystical Warrior: Thanks for the cover M. Wizard!...Now I think you two have learned something in this training...Let us end this!

Mystical Warrior jumps high in the air...While holding his sword, a circular field of runes started forming around him...

A.K. Seyren: This is bad...Zane! We must prevent him from using "Grand Sword"!
ZaneLegend: You don't have to tell me twice!

Seyren quickly buries his sword in the ground and murmured a short incantation...Suddenly a spire of blades gushed out from the ground trying to reach out to Mystical Warrior in the air...

Blade Spire!!!

ZaneLegend forms a long string of hand signs and his spear starts to glow with dark energy...he suddenly gets sucked down a portal from beneath his feet...In this different dimension he then throws his spear...

Gungnir!!!

Mystical Wizard: Like I told you before! You won't be landing any hits when I am around!

Mystical Wizard points his hand just below Mystical Warrior and started concentrating his mana along with an incantation...shortly after, ice particles start to form beneath Mystical Warrior forming a barrier which protects him from the attack...

Ice Barrier!!!

As soon as the attacks makes contact with the barrier it starts to freeze over...

Mystical Warrior: Heh...impeccable as always M. Wizard...Now to finish it!

After the rune formation finishes...Mystical Warrior then brings down his sword of light onto ZaneLegend and Seyren...

Grand Sword!!!

The sword crashes down on the 2 members, but Mystical Warrior purposely averted his attack so that the shockwave will only hit the members...

ZaneLegend: (panting) That...was...surely...strong...I...can't believe...we survived that
A.K. Seyren: I know...looks to me...he purposely missed...a direct attack to us

Mystical Warrior and Wizard approaches the 2 on the ground to see how they are doing...

Mystical Wizard: Good work you two...
Mystical Warrior: Indeed...You two have learned teamwork to the extent that you can synchronize your attacks with each other well. Some more training and leveling will make you participate in wars. But as for now...train some more.

Shortly after, a group of Guardians and Adventurers approaches them, it appears that they were watching the whole training of the four.

Guardian: I thought there was something bad going on with those slight quakes that I felt...But it was only you guys.
Adventurer 1: Wow guys! you were all so intense...that was like a supermegaultraultimatetop fight that I just saw!
Adventurer 2: How did you guys even get that strong?
Guardian: I agree...maybe hearing your history would make us understand and give us ideas on how to get stronger

With a smile, Mystical Warrior then starts to tell his tale of how he was now...

Chapter 1: Meet Isamu

Isamu was a frail child at birth. He was constantly in need of medical attention for him to survive his infant days. His father was a Guardian and his mother a Priestess in their town. During his childhood days he was often picked-on by other kids, this in turn gave a him a strong sense of justice so whenever he sees another kid being bullied he will always go to their aid and get the attention of the bullies even though he will be the one picked-on in the end.

Few years have went by and Isamu's health grew stronger and better. He learned the way of the sword from his father and his sense of justice hasn't faltered but instead strengthened with the teachings of her mother during her time as a priestess. Isamu always sets out to the wilderness to hunt monsters and sell their valuable hide to help earn and sustain his family.

At the age of 21 he asked for his parents' blessing to allow him to travel throughout Lore to make a name for himself. His parents where a bit reluctant at first because of Isamu's health condition during his childhood days, but in the end they approved. Having their blessing, Isamu bade farewell to his parents and promised to return once he is well known throughout Lore for his accomplishments.

The journey was tough for Isamu as he didn't expect other monsters to be tougher than the ones he hunted near his village. During his travel he stumbled upon the town of Battleon and decided to stay their for the time being. He rented a place in Yulgar's Inn and continued his hunting to help further his experience and make him stronger.

Yulgar: So...Your name is Isamu huh?...Any meaning to it?
Isamu: Well yes...My name means Courage or Bravery...as given to me by my birth parents.
Yulgar: Hmmm...interesting name...well...sign here and you're free to sleep in the inn anytime you want...with a fee of course haha!
Isamu: Heh...ok
Yulgar: So what do you plan on doing now?
Isamu: Well all I can do now is just hunt monsters and get stronger.
Yulgar: Really now...well just be careful.
Isamu: Thanks...I will.

Before Isamu could leave the Inn. Yulgar called out to him...

Yulgar: Oh wait a second!
Isamu: What's the matter?
Yulgar: You're trying to make a name for yourself correct?
Isamu: Yes. Do you have any tips or hints I can use?
Yulgar: Well...Its just a rumor...But I heard talk from other Adventurers and Guardians that the well in Fairwind Spring could bring you to a place where you can challenge the Three Legendary Warriors.
Isamu: I see. So what's the catch for this one?
Yulgar: Well they say that you can gain quite the fame if you can defeat the three in consecutive battles without any healing.
Isamu: Is that so? Well I guess I can use the fame that comes beating those three. Thanks for the tip.

Isamu sets foot to find these Legendary Warriors in Fairwind Spring...Although, this was short-lived when the war against the Nightmare Queen emerged. Isamu tried to help the other Guardians and experienced Adventurers but he was decimated by one of the Nightmare Queen's minions, although defeated Isamu still tries to fight on desperately.

Isamu: Ughhh...If only...I'm...alot more stronger...
Nightmare Minion: It is futile to resist little adventurer.
Isamu: This...is not...over yet...I will not...let you...harm innocent people!
Nightmare Minion: So be it. I shall deliver a swift death upon you.

At that moment, Isamu thought this was the end of his life...But to his dismay this was only the start of his nightmare that will haunt him as long as he lives.

Interlude 1: The Nightmare Warrior

As Nightmare Warrior goes out to train for himself he ponders on some things that has been bothering all this time...

Nightmare Warrior: I don't know why they are still keeping me alive. Especially now that I have my free will since I broke out from Mystical Wizard's binding spell.

This thought is what has been bugging Nightmare Warrior all this time...The only way he can think of getting his mind off this matter is just to slay countless monsters and get stronger before another war emerges...While travelling to find tougher opponents he encounters a Light Dragon. With a wide grin he starts to battle the radiant dragon.

Nightmare Warrior: Hoho...You are a bad match for me puny dragon.

The dragon quickly uses its powerful breath attack but Nightmare Warrior narrowly escapes it...

Nightmare Warrior: Heh...Not bad...Let's see if you can evade this move...

Nightmare Warrior takes a stance and gathers dark energy in front of him while taking head-on the relentless breath attack of the Light Dragon. As the dark energy emits it fullest...Nightmare Warrior slashes it sending a dark blast at the Light Dragon engulfing it to its doom.

Nightmare Blast!!!

As soon as the dust settles down from the sheer force of the attack, There was nothing left of the Light Dragon, not even its corpse.

Nightmare Warrior: Tch...That was it? Can't even resist an attack like that? I expected more...heh...like I said you were a bad match against me.

Nightmare Warrior then continues his training in search for more monsters to slay...

As soon as he is finished up with his training, He proceeds to go back to their order's tower...as he is getting near the group he was curious why there are many guests...

Nightmare Warrior: What's this? I left out for training a little and you guys already have a bunch of new recruits?
Mystical Wizard: Calm down...They are just here to hear the story of Mystical Warrior of how he got strong with the trials he faced.
Nightmare Warrior: Heh...That's a laugh...so which part is he in now?
ZaneLegend: The part when he was about to be brought to the Nightmare Queen.
Nightmare Warrior: Haha...that was when I was first created. Good times, good times.

Nightmare Warrior then listens in as Mystical Warrior continues to tell his tale of trials...

Chapter 2: The Rise of The Nightmare Warrior

Watching from a hologram mirror...The Nightmare Queen took interest of Isamu and schemes a plan to use on him. Before the Nightmare Minion delivers the final blow, The Nightmare Queen orders it to stop and bring to her Isamu alive...

Nightmare Queen: Interesting...I may have some use for this little adventurer. Bring him to me at once.
Nightmare Minion: As you wish my queen.

The Nightmare Minion then picks up Isamu's battered body and brought him to the Nightmare Castle to have a little talk with the Nightmare Queen.

Nightmare Queen: I heard that you wanted to have...power. Is that correct?
Isamu: Yes. Although if it will come from you I will never accept it!
Nightmare Queen: Hahahaha...Foolish adventurer. You see, you don't have any choice but to accept it. Even if you refuse I will force my spell on to you.

The Nightmare Queen starts to chant an unfamiliar verse and gathers dark energy in her hand. As the incantation was finished it is then hurled at Isamu engulfing him...

Isamu: GWWWWWAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

The dark energy slowly engulfs Isamu's humanity and transforming him to a being that was never before seen by mankind. He was given a Guardian Plate with a dark base and blue trim...His eyes glows with black and red, a sign of thirst for blood. As the transformation is completed, Isamu who was once known as a simple adventurer has now turned into the dreaded Nightmare Warrior.

Nightmare Warrior: This power...it...it feels good!!!
Nightmare Queen: Good to see that you liked it...From now on you will be one of my top generals in my army.
Nightmare Warrior: Yes my queen.
Nightmare Queen: Now to see the level of your power. Go fight in the war for me.
Nightmare Warrior: At once!!!

Nightmare Warrior quickly descends from the castle and on to the battlefield. Many Adventurers and Guardians were baffled and confused as they saw Nightmare Warrior. Some tried get near him to check-up on him but to their dismay this was their gravest mistake as Nightmare Warrior slays them with his dark power...

Nightmare Warrior: Fools...I am no ally of yours...now prepare to meet your doom!

Nightmare Blast!!!

The sheer force of the blast took out a big chunk of the defenders. As the other Nightmare Minions saw this, they were given a renewed fervor and fought more viciously against the defenders. The battle appears to have been a stalemate as either side pushes each other back and forth. But to the surprise of Nightmare Warrior and the other minions, the Nightmare Factory was blown to pieces with a spell that was casted by a powerful mage namely Warlic. The sheer destruction of the blast threw Nightmare Warrior a few hundred kilometers from the battlefield. The Guardians and Adventurers cheered as they saw Nightmare Warrior being thrown away by the blast but little they did know that this wasn't enough to bring him down.

Chapter 3: A New Light

As Nightmare Warrior was launched from the blast...he crash landed on a beach shore that is near the Paladin Order's tower. As he wakes up it seems that Isamu regained temporary control of his body and will. With the little time he has...He rushes towards the Paladin Tower to seek help from Artix.

Nightmare Warrior / Isamu: Is...is Artix Von Krieger here!?...haaah...haah
Artix: I am here...he is looking fo...Oh my...That is some immense dark energy you have there my friend.
N.W. / Isamu: P...Please...Help me get rid of this...

Artix gets closer to examine Isamu's condition...after a few minutes of examination...

Artix: Well...I have some good news...and bad news
N.W. / Isamu: What is...the...good news?
Artix: The good new is that I can help you...
N.W. / Isamu: And...the bad?
Artix: The bad news...I can't remove the dark energy...I can go as far as suppress it because it has already binded to your being. Removing it will have great risks.
N.W. / Isamu: Then please...seal it...

With Isamu's decision made...Artix started gathering light energy and Isamu is then surrounded by various runes. Artix continues his chanting and soon the runes exploded surrounding Isamu with a strong light. As soon as the light subsided the dark energy from Isamu is hardly felt anymore and his appearance has also changed.

Artix: Ok...it's done. How do you feel?
Isamu: I feel fine...Although a bit drained but still fine.
Artix: Well...what do you plan on doing now?
Isamu: Hmm...I guess I'll stay here for now...Will you allow me to train in the ways of the light? So that I could maintain the seal that prevents the dark energy from me escaping.
Artix: Very well...I will teach some of the basics and concept in maintaining and strengthening the seal.

Thus, the training of Isamu with the Paladin order began. A few weeks have passed and the training Isamu underwent was a success. He has learned the ways on maintaining the seal for his dark energy also learning a few light based incantations. Before he leaves, Artix had a little talk with him.

Artix: So what will you do now?
Isamu: Well...I guess for starters I will make a new start...
Artix: What do you mean?
Isamu: I won't be going by the name of Isamu anymore. For now I will just be hooded stranger and find a way to train myself.
Artix: I see...Well be careful then.

As he bids farewell, Isamu goes on to his journey to find a purpose and meaning to his life. He sets off through the wilderness to find it...

Chapter 4: Training with a Hawke

As Isamu continues his travels going by the nickname "Hooded Man", He searched for a powerful mentor that can help him find his purpose. During his travel he saw BlackHawke battling a fearsome wyvern, Isamu watched how BlackHawke battled the beast and was entranced by his battle-style. As the battle trudged on BlackHawke finally decided to finish it, He took a step back and suddenly disappeared before colliding the wyvern...

Shadow Step!!!

Soon after, BlackHawke reappears from behind the wyvern and it seems that in the instant he disappeared he maid 5 consecutive slashes on the wyvern as seen from the deep slash marks that can be seen on the wyvern's corpse. As BlackHawke was collecting his bounty, Isamu comes close to have a talk...

Hooded Man: Excuse me sir, do you have a minute?
BlackHawke: Yes, what seems to be the problem?
Hooded Man: I was really amazed when I saw you fight that wyvern, by any chance, can you take me in as your pupil?
BlackHawke: Hoho...That is very bold of you. But I warn you, my training will be rough.
Hooded Man: I don't mind the difficulty. I just want to regain my purpose in life by training.
BlackHawke: I see...Well you look determined enough. What is your name?
Hooded Man: I have no name. You can call me whatever you want. But I always go by the title "The Hooded Man".
BlackHawke: Very well, I won't dwell on any more questions why you have no name. Let us begin the training in 2 days. Meet me here by then.

Two days have passed and Isamu met with BlackHawke on their meeting place. Soon after the training begins...

BlackHawke: First off. What kind of weapon do you prefer to use in battle?
Hooded Man: I always use a shield and sword in battles.
BlackHawke: I see. Very well, your first training is perception and reflexes. Try following my movements and block my attacks while I'm using Shadow Step.

BlackHawke suddenly disappears and strike Isamu from different directions, Isamu could not even block a single attack. A few minutes of beating and BlackHawke stops.

BlackHawke: That is not good enough. Don't just use your eyes. Feel your surroundings! the air around you, the vibrations, the pulses in the earth, the sound.
Hooded Man: Please one more time!

As soon as BlackHawke heard it, he uses "Shadow Step" to continue...Isamu then closes his eyes to concentrate...

Hooded Man: (feel your surroundings...the air...the vibration...the sounds.)

Soon after, a sounding collision of BlackHawke's blade and Isamu's shield was heard...With that one block, BlackHawke stops his technique...

BlackHawke: Very good. You learn pretty fast. I guess your motivation to find a purpose is really strong for you to progress this quick.
Hooded Man: Thanks. But it was no easy task. So what will the next training be?
BlackHawke: This time its speed, To train this you won't be needing much of my help. But you must wear this heavy armor and run a distance of 5 kilometers in 10 minutes.

At first, Isamu thought that the training will be easy. But as he wore the heavy armor he almost dropped flat on the ground as the armor was as heavy as a full grown elephant.

Hooded Man: How the hell did this armor weigh this much?!
BlackHawke: Heh...I asked a great wizard to imbue this armor to multiply the gravity it takes by 20 times. So this should weight as much as an elephant. I won't expect you to finish this phase of the training quick. So I will give you 1 week to finish it. If you pass this test, when you remove that armor you will be running that 5 kilometers in just 1 minute as your body will feel lighter. Of course this can also give you strength training.
Hooded Man: ok then. I shall begin.

BlackHawke leaves Isamu to train. Soon as BlackHawke cannot be seen, Isamu started running while wearing the armor, it was a real struggle because it takes him at least one and a half hour to run that 5 kilometers. But Isamu still persevered and yielded good results. His time got shorter by 5 minutes every run after resting for at least an hour. A day before the deadline he finally manage to run 5 kilometers in 10 minutes...At the day of the deadline Isamu showed the results of his training to BlackHawke.

BlackHawke: Impressive. I was kinda betting that you will quit on the first day of this training phase.
Hooded Man: Heh...don't take me so lightly. I'm determined to find my purpose by completing this training.
BlackHawke: Very well. Rest for today. But tomorrow will be the final phase which is a 1 on 1 battle with me. No pulling punches. We will fight with the intent to kill.
Hooded Man: Understood.

Isamu rests for the whole day while psyching himself up for the final phase of his training...

Interlude 2: The Purpose...

With much anticipation for Isamu's final test he prepares himself for anything that BlackHawke will throw at him. But to his dismay the war between Battleon and Shearhide's forces broke out. Even feeling disappointment, Isamu looks at the war in a positive way.

Hooded Man: A war...just when my final test is about to happen. Come to think of it, I can use this war as a chance to test out my new formed strength.

As Isamu was thinking deep on what to do in the war. BlackHawke approaches him...

BlackHawke: Looks like you are more vent on participating in the war I see.
Hooded Man: Yes. I want to test out the results of my training so I can use it more efficiently on our battle.
BlackHawke: Very wise. Doing a little sparring on monsters to gauge on how much you got stronger I see. Well fight well in the war.

As BlackHawke makes his leave, Isamu plunges himself on the battlefield alongside other Adventurers and Guardians...After taking down a few hundred enemies, Isamu was surprised that he wasn't even tired from taking them down. He even noticed himself that he can move faster than before.

Hooded Man: Amazing! So this is the result of the training I underwent. Not to mention, I can move so swift that my enemies can't see me...I wonder if I can adapt BlackHawke's "Shadow Step" into my own move.

Isamu takes a step back. Gathered his energy and his sword started to glow in light yellow color...Immediately after, he lets out a powerful burst of speed and cuts dozens of enemies in one slash.

Guardian Rogue: That is very amazing you did their comrade. You took down at least 30 of those monsters in a flash of light. I mean literally in a flash. As soon as you moved the only thing that was left was a stream of light.
Hooded Man: Is that so? Then I shall name this first technique of mine as "Flash Cut"

The war goes on for quite a while and Isamu has already taken out more than 2000 enemies. Soon he goes face to face with Shearhide himself, but even with his new power and technique he was decimated by Shearhide's sheer power. As he loses consciousness...he realizes he was in a different plain.

???: Greetings brave warrior.
Hooded Man: Wait...what?...Where am I?
???: You are in dream as you lost your consciousness.
Hooded Man: I see...but who are you and what do you want from me?
???: I am the War God...I go by many names as I am being acknowledge from different worlds and places. I shall lend you my power for short times when you need it.
Hooded Man: But how will I summon you?
???: As soon as you find your purpose after this war and during your final test with BlackHawke will you be able to summon me.

Soon after, Isamu regains consciousness in Yulgar's Inn. After bandaging his wounds and getting healed by Twilly he returns to the battlefield and settle the score with Shearhide.

Shearhide: I see you are back for more beating.
Hooded Man: I assure you it won't be the same as last time.

Isamu mustered all his strength and he somehow managed to summon an ethereal being from behind him. Although he knows it himself that it is not yet complete he felt a great surge of power when he summoned this being. With this he battled Shearhide and defeated him with ease.

As the war was finished everyone tallied their kills on the war. Isamu thought that he got the highest kills being 2049, he was surprised that a Guardian known as Nosey123 got over 3000 kills on the war. Having disappointed he then now discovers his purpose which is to be a well known hero in wars and be known as the War Master in Battleon.

Chapter 5: Of War Gods and Avatars

After the Shearhide war, the final test for the Hooded Man's will begun 3 days after the war near Greenguard Forest as agreed upon by the two to heal their wounds.

As the day finally arrives, the Hooded Man is waiting in an open field near Greenguard Forest. As he waits for BlackHawke's arrival he tries to remember the words left upon him by the War God in his dreams.

Hooded Man: So I can summon you at will as I needed huh? I hope I can summon you soon as I may not stand a chance against BlackHawke at his full power.

Soon after, BlackHawke arrives at the field...

BlackHawke: Oh? I guess I'm the late one then...
Hooded Man: Not really...I just got here a little while ago.
BlackHawke: I see...Are you ready for your final test?
Hooded Man: I am. Let us begin this.
BlackHawke: A word of warning though...If I find you not worthy or strong enough to graduate as my apprentice...I will kill you.
Hooded Man: Why is that so?
BlackHawke: Well I can't risk the chance of having the core essence of my techniques be used carelessly by weak individuals.
Hooded Man: I see...A fair point. Now let's do this.

Soon after BlackHawke suddenly disappeared from sight...

Hooded Man: !?!?! (Shadow Step so soon...)
BlackHawke: Hehehe...this isn't Shadow Step...I'm just moving at incredible speed!
Hooded Man: From behind!!!!

The Hooded Man quickly did a turn and managed to block BlackHawke's strike...

BlackHawke: Not bad...I guess you're no small fry anymore...

BlackHawke's body seemingly turned into mist...and quickly disappears.

Shadow Step!!!

The Hooded Man barely blocks all of his attacks...and managed to fend off BlackHawke...

Hooded Man: Hehe...my turn then.

The Hooded Man takes a stance and his sword starts to glow a bright yellow color...soon after he beams towards BlackHawke leaving a trail of light.

Flash Cut!!!

To BlackHawke's surprise he wasn't able to block the attack as it was on par with the speed of his Shadow Step if not faster.

BlackHawke: I'm impressed. I guess it's time to show you the first of my three ultimate techniques.

BlackHawke's shadow starts to move wildly and it seems that parts of it are separating. Surrounding the Hooded Man completely.

BlackHawke: Now behold. The first of my ultimate technique...

Shadow Bodies!!!

As soon as clones of BlackHawke was formed they immediately attacked the Hooded Man. But he didn't waste any time and countered with his "Flash Cut"...slowly but surely the Hooded Man defeats the clones one by one until the original was left...

Hooded Man: Huff...huff (What incredible technique...I only managed to fend it off this time and to think that this is just the first)
BlackHawke: Impressive...you managed to fend of my Shadow Bodies...but looks like that technique of yours took its toll on you. As a sign of thanks that you were a good apprentice I will show you my 2nd ultimate technique.

BlackHawke plants his sword in the ground and clasps his hands together...

BlackHawke: Not because I'm a warrior means that I don't know any magic of my own...witness the darkness that engulfs the strongest light!

Soon after the whole place was surrounded by sheer darkness and the Hooded Man can't see a thing even his own hands.

Absolute Darkness!!!

The Hooded Man raises his sword to defend but he was unable to block as he can't see the attacks which was also coming from many directions.

Hooded Man: This along with "Shadow Bodies"...I can't defend or even attack...This is bad I'm starting to lose my consciousness...

For a moment the Hooded Man finds himself in a different place. A place field with dead bodies of fallen warriors...Soon after he sees a familiar figure.

Hooded Man: You again...who are you exactly?
???: Like I told you before. I am the War God. I come with different names from different cultures and generations. For example I am called Mars by the Romans or Ares by the greeks or even Apolake or Bagobo by the Filipinos.
Hooded Man: I see. But can you help me...
???: I can...but first...what is your purpose for obtaining my power.
Hooded Man: My purpose...it is to help out in the wars, to put a stop to the armies of evil!
???: But in wars...there is no good or evil...what may seem evil to you is good for the other side. What will you do about this?
Hooded Man: To war, is to protect what you believe is right. If I am in the wrong then let faith takes its course and take my life as they see fit.
???: Hahaha...very well...I shall then grant you my power. Use it well...

The dream faded and the Hooded Man is back to reality and still being attacked by BlackHawke...much to his surprise, the Hooded Man then started to gather energy which blew away the darkness that surrounds them.

BlackHawke: What the!?!?!...Is he...it can't be!
Hooded Man: Rrrrrraaaagggghhhh!!!!! I will show you my purpose!!! Come out!!!

Sengoku War God Musashi!!!

BlackHawke: To think he was able to bring out an avatar...Looks like you beat me to my 3rd ultimate technique. I will show you mine!!! Rrrrrraaaaaaggggghhhh!!!! Come out!!!

Darkness God Dark Exodus!!!

BlackHawke: Since you have an avatar...I could guess you have an avatar technique...show it to me!

The two the ready themselves for a last strike...

BlackHawke: Satan Sword!!!

Hooded Man: War God Multi-Slash!!!

As the two powerful techniques collide a massive explosion was created...as the dust clouds start to clear up...the Hooded Man was the last one standing...

Hooded Man: hufff....huff...did I...do it?
BlackHawke: Heh...yes...you did...you even...defeated my avatar...

Soon after the Hooded Man collapses on the ground also...

BlackHawke: War God Musashi huh?
Hooded Man: Looks like it...
BlackHawke: Now that your training is done...what will you call yourself?
Hooded Man: I'll go by the name...Mystical Warrior...from now on.

As the two rests...the birth of the upcoming War Master has now begun...

Interlude 3.1: The New Members: "The Living Shadows"

As tales of the War Master started to spread across Lore, many people have tried challenging him in a fight to see how they will fare, some do it for glory, some do it for personal growth, and others do it for evil intentions.

In a secluded forest near the training grounds for aspiring ninjas, a group of elemental ninjas are taking a rest from their training.

Fire Ninja: Hey Zane! Have you heard the rumors lately?
ZaneLegend: ...
Water Ninja: Guess you haven't, well anyway, we heard that there was this guy calling himself the "War Master" haha, can you believe that?
ZaneLegend: Surely he has his reason to do so, also there may still be a possibility what he is claiming is true...
Earth Ninja: True enough, I even heard from other Adventurers and Guardians that he easily takes on thousands of enemies in a war easily. I wonder how we will fare on a 1 on 1 with him.
ZaneLegend: ...
Fire Ninja: *whispering* Idiot! why did you say that?! Now Zane will most likely find and challenge him.
Earth Ninja: *whispering* Sorry! it just slipped my mind. But wouldn't it be interesting to see them fight since Zane is the only one aside from Elizabeth to master all "Elemental Ninja Arts" not to mention that his "Bloodline" allows him to perform "Secret Arts"

The others had a long look at Zane and already understood that he will be leaving to challenge the War Master.

ZaneLegend: I'm leaving...
Water Ninja: Well just as we expected...just don't get yourself killed. ok?

With a nod, Zane leaves the forest and starts to find the War Master and challenge him to a duel...

The search for The War Master wasn't hard to conduct because his fame allowed alot of people to know him when they see him and asking directions on his whereabouts are easy. Soon after, ZaneLegend found himself in front of The War Master's Deren mansion. He cautiously approaches when he was startled by a voice from behind.

???: You're really cautious for someone visiting.

With a quick front tumble Zane readied his Kunai and Spear but was even more surprised when he realized who it was.

ZaneLegend: The War Master, Mystical Warrior...How did you managed to sneak up behind me? With my training I should've sensed you meters away.
Mystical Warrior: Oh that...I was practicing to conceal my presence from everyone...you know...like being one with nature and stuff...

With a stern look, Mystical Warrior studied Zane's battle posture...

Mystical Warrior: Judging from your clothes...I'd say you're a student of Elizabeth's...why are you here?
ZaneLegend: I'm here to challenge you.
MW: Challenge me? Mmmkay...first off, your posture is good for offense...but...

In a flash, Mystical Warrior is suddenly pointing his sword at ZaneLegend's neck from behind...

MW: Good for offense, but you have alot of openings in your defense.
Zane: The "Flash Step"...I heard rumors of it...but I maid counter-measures.

Zane suddenly turns into a block of wood...

MW: Oho? Substitution Technique huh? Elizabeth is the only one I know that can do it without weaving hand signs. Not bad...I guess you are either the "Hit and Run" type...or the "Confrontal" Type...I'm guessing you're the confrontal type given your earlier posture and was just surprised and retreated to regroup...
Zane: (thinking to self) This is bad...with that speed I won't be able to touch him...I have to end this in one hit...I have to force him in a frontal attack.
MW: You're good at hiding...I give you that...but my instincts tell me that you want to finish this in one attack...alright...I'll stand here on the field and ready my sword. You can come out and bust out your most powerful Technique in front of me.

Zane slowly reveals himself to Mystical Warrior...

Zane: Alright then...can I have your word you won't attack me while I ready my Technique?
MW: Sure...be my guest.

ZaneLegend begins to make a long string of hand signs...and suddenly an ethereal spear appears in his hands...

Hidden Spear Art: Phantom Spear

ZaneLegend: I am ready. Now let's finish this!
MW: Heh...bring it!

ZaneLegend dashes forward as fast as he can and thrusts his Phantom Spear as strong as he could at Mystical Warrior...but to his great surprise...Mystical Warrior quickly ducks and parries his Phantom Spear upward with his sword.

Zane: Impossible...my "Phantom Spear" should be unblockable...solid objects shouldn't be able to touch it...not to mention parry it.
MW: True, your spear could've pierced my very soul...but because of my experience in wars, I have already fought many ethereal beings and learned to infuse my mana in my armaments so that my attacks can actually hit them instead of going through them...I will have to admit, your "Phantom Spear" was not easy block...it took all my mana to just to parry it upward.
Zane: It's my defeat...you have already beaten my strongest Technique and that is even without using any of yours.

As ZaneLegend was leaving...someone approached Mystical Warrior...

???: Are you sure you will let him go? He has potential to be in our Order you know...and besides...we can't really call ourselves an order with just two people in it.
Mystical Warrior: Ah...Mystical Wizard...if you say so then. Hey! ZaneLegend wait up!
Zane: ?
Mystical Warrior: By any chance...do you want to join "The Mystic Order"?
ZaneLegend: You want me to join forces with you?
Mystical Warrior: Well of course, since Mystical Wizard said you have potential, I guess we can help each other out...you can help on the agenda of our Order and we can help you train to become stronger. Its a win-win if you ask me.

ZaneLegend thinks about the deal for a while...and decided to...

ZaneLegend: Very well, count me in...I'm ZaneLegend a master spear wielder in the "Yari Clan"

Interlude 3.2: The New Members: "The Wise Mage"

In the outskirts of Greenguard Forest lies a small village, in this village lived a mage which has great promise in wielding the elemental arts, during his coming of age, this wizard has prepared himself to set out for his adventure throughout Lore and make a name for himself, before he leaves, he informed all his fellow villagers the moniker he will use in his adventures as to avoid any villains targeting his village for revenge against him, and the moniker he chose is "Mystical Wizard"

Village Chief: Are you sure you want to leave the village Ryou?
Villager 1: Yeah, you can just stay in the village and become its protector you know, you can make a name for yourself even by just doing that.
Mystical Wizard: Please everyone, call me Mystical Wizard from now on, I don't want to put any risk on your lives if a monster or villain finds out where I come from.
Village Chief: Very Well, *ahem*, you are always welcome to come back here as it is your home.
Mystical Wizard: Thank you elder, I will surely come back here to check up on all of you every once in a while.
Village Chief: I am sure that your parents will be proud of you if they were still here today.
Villager 2: Oh yeah, why did you even choose "Mystical Wizard" as a name? You're not even officially recognized as a proper mage yet much less a wizard.
Village Elder: Do not worry, I am sure he will be recognized as one pretty quickly with the help of his elven lineage, which is the reason he shows great promise in magic just like his parents before him.
Mystical Wizard: That is one reason for it, another is because of the hero that inspired me to even go on an adventure, which is Mystical Warrior, when he saved our village from an impending attack of an army which will destroy any village in its path while en route to Battleon during a war. Because of his heroics that day, I was inspired to help others like him, and maybe one day, fight alongside him.
Village Elder: That is true, seeing someone as young as you being able to fight those many monsters will surely light the fire of your youth.
Mystical Wizard: Well everyone, I need to go, I don't want to miss any opportunity of a great quest that may come in my way.
Village Elder: Very well, sorry for making you stay this long, also don't forget to visit your parents' grave and say goodbye to them.
Mystical Wizard: I will elder, and goodbye everyone!

As Mystical Wizard waves farewell to his fellow villagers, he went to a hill overlooking the whole village, this is the gravesite of his parents where they died protecting the village from invading monsters.

Mystical Wizard: Heya mom and dad, I'm going on to my long awaited adventure, please look after me and guide me in my times of need, thank you for always protecting me and villagers during times of peril. Please give me your blessings and always look after me even when both of you are in the afterlife.

As he leaves the gravesite, Mystical Wizard has set forth to start his adventure and make a name for himself, as his first agenda, locate Mystical Warrior and befriend him, and if everything goes smoothly, form a party or an order with him.
