My idea is to let to two players ally with one another, then click a 2v2-Ally Battle Button. It would start a battle that's the same as a normal 2v2 battle, except you got to pick your partner beforehand. Then you battle with two other allied partners.

It may be something only the advanced players are interested in but can you imagine the epic battles?

 Too many balance problems in 2vs2 already. This would only cause a bunch of abuse

That's the beauty of this battlefield. Balance is thrown out the window. If two players are unstoppable together and reign supreme, then so be it. That's why I said it will be mostly for advanced players. Heck, people could even use two of their own characters on different accounts to make a team. Those who don't like this version simply would play regular/random 2v2. It would be awesome.

 Yes it would be and was denied by Staff for reason you mentioned in your post - "If two players are unstoppable together and reign supreme, then so be it." - exactly why this won't be implemented. Searching for quote would be a pain since the same thread was made almost half a year back and we had input from few of the Devs.

i agree with trans , my brother had the same idea but i told him that then i would just ally myself with the best and be unstopable

 But there would be so MANY unstoppable's. It would unstoppable Vs unstoppable. I really do like the idea... And the leaderboard would show 2 people, as apose to 1.

To clear things up, there would be two 2v2 battles to choose from. For the ppl who don't want to battle on 'SUPER TEAMS', the normal 2v2 battle will still be there as it always was. The 'allied battle' would be for the elite players who want that kind of challenge. I still think it's a great idea.

Idea is good, but there will lot of dummy battles.

But also it would be unfair because me and my bro are the kind of people that do the count thing 3 2 1 go and we normally end up on the same team and were unstoppable we are 2 support builds for tact merc both of us with 31-38 support we kill them in the first 4 rounds sumtimes 3



I dont think we ever lost a 2v2 battle when were together since we lost to 2 tech mages that were op with like 42-51 tech we aint lost since that

 I kinda like this idea because of what Trans said... "Unstoppable vs. Unstoppable". That would open up a door for a potential Delta V 2v2 Champions cheevo and insane fame.

Just because people can be unstoppable is no reason not to use this idea everyone i talk to supports it and most of the active ED community would come back to 2v2 just to play this they could have a separate board for it "allie 2v2" so you could oppt out if it if you really didn't want to. This would bring epic duel back to life no matter how bad the game is to battle and win with friends is one of the best things epic could do even better then any sort of balance.

 Yes. Instead of disregarding this idea completely I think there should just be a separate button for allied 2v2 or even just keep the original 2v2 button but match allies with allies. "Unstoppable allies" is no excuse not to implement this idea because, if I am correct, "No build will ever completely be unbeatable" because of this games ever-changing evolutionary system.
