A new style, a new central character. I wanted to wait so I could give you 3 pages as an intro rather than just the single panel.
I'd like to keep these short for the time being. I have a deeper story for the detective in mind, but that won't happen for a while.
However what I'd like, if you'll oblige me, is suggestions for cases our detective can be called to.
Not too detailed, simply suggest a crime and/or a power that can be involved. As mundane or serious as you like (altho not murder ^-^), and powers as great or underwhelming as you'd like.
I'll try and match the power to the crime, and think of a way our limited powered detective can try and stop the crime.

His name is Sam Hunter and he.... well he does the best he can ^-^

The comic reminds me of film noir. Maybe Sam could deal with a kidnapping case? Powers, it's your call.

Nice comic.

As for a crime, I was thinking this...

Using his power he finds a guy who blabs about a top secret Class 5 Artifact Smuggling Ring. Apparently, some rich dude going by the codename of The Dealer is planing to sell these extremely dagerious artifacts to known and MAJOR supervillains, which of course could cause a massive scenario in the city. However, any evidence of the case... vanishes, and noone knows a single thing about this man save that in his iligitimate dealings he wears a mask showing the face of a legendary monster known for making evil deals...

As for powers, he DOES have one, albeit it one he prefers to only use if ABSOLUTLY needed:
spoiler:

The power to manipulate via words and voice people to do what he commands. Like I say however, he thinks if he needs to use it he's not doing something right. A man with a strong mind can resist if it's a obvious comand like "Just let me get away with this" but that's where his natural cunning with words comes in, and he may just, say, fit such a command in a otherwise ordinary conversation so that he dosen't even notice till he's out the door.
As someone in illigal dealings this power can come in handy for giving bribes or... well I'm sure you can find uses.

...No I'm not blatently attempting to get my char in the comic, why do you ask?

But seriuously though, even if you don't go with the above the idea of a Class 5 Artifact Smuggling Ring is a good one that could lead to a major issue for the city. Thoughts?

And suddenly I am reminded of grey silhouette. What ever happened to him anyway?

As for a case, what about the protagonist discovering an amnesiac and is then suddenly attacked by a group of masked thugs. What would normally appear as a case of mugging then becomes more complicated when the amnesiac gets a quick flashback when s/he sees a wristband worn by one of the attackers that reminds her/him that s/he used to have powers. That and an enigmatic reference of a certain codeword that the detective tries to track down. This eventually links up to a series of kidnappings that eventually lead the detective and his acquaintance to an underground fighting ring. It is then revealed that all the kidnapped people were the civilian identities of previous grand champions. In order to investigate the scenario without the ring's overwhelming bodyguards attacking them, the detective enters the fight club under a masked alter ego. The fighting ring is lead by an enigmatic persona known only as the ringleader and only the grand champion can have an audience with the ringleader. The rest, I'm pretty sure is open to interpretation.

@Black He got banned for makeing a forum account for his cousin. He was still hanging out in game, and doing operation reborn by emailing the chapters to Clown.

As for a crime how bout there's a bunch of muggings, thefts, beak ins, and etc. They end up tracking the crime spree to a man known as The Raven. Sam finds that he can`t see anything with his power when he confronts the Raven, the Raven takes one look at him and begins to tell Sam about his childhood, his life, and etc. Then he does have a vision showing how to defeat the Raven. The only problem is a contact for the Raven informs Sam that if The Raven is defeated then the whole city will know of Sam`s power! Sam must chose between his job and justice!

You know, when this came out I always meant to ask: How does grades and stuff work in this universe? Are weapons and supers graded differently? What do the grades mean?

Edit: Just realised that I never posted a power for the crime I suggested ages ago. WIll do so now if it's not too late.
