Game Update v0.8.5
  • Shadow Card Series Released

    3 New Shadow Characters:
  • Master Drow Assassin. A second Rank up choice of the Shadow Apprentice
  • Master Flesh Void. A second Rank up choice from the male Void Incarnate
  • Legendary DreadFiend purchasable directly in Malakai's Shop

    Coming Soon!
  • Ability to Delete Cards

    		I bought two packs with my surplus gold.

    1st pack:
    2 Defend 515
    2 Attack 515
    1 Attack 525

    2nd pack:
    5 Attack 101

    Not terribly impressive, but the cards will certainly help flesh out the decks for my Shadow characters. Buying any more Shadow packs would strongly run the risk of being redundant and useless, so I'll wait until the next element cards come out.

    		Shadow has some nice cards

    The strong points from my perspective

    -life drains hit for 520 and give back 450 life - much stronger than regular life drains

    -defends and void reflects are included which will be important for a lot of shadow chars who are quite frail

    -poison and mark of death are included which will be insanely strong

    -empowers will help add a bit more bite to some defensive decks when leveling


    The negatives in my opinion

    -there will be a lot of dot spam now =(

    -no sacrifices in the deck which would have made leveling a whole lot easier


    All in all i would recommend for anyone who uses a shadow character (which is most)

    It's also good to have those empowers for leveling any element, just 2-3 in a deck over 20 levels is a big impact

    Would have loved to see sacrifices included though

    		I was happy that Flesh Void was marked as free to obtain. He's better in every way than the Shadow Void. Both in deck and appearance. Its very odd how Drow Assassin was marked in the character tree as Soulgems to unlock him. They've suddenly broken their chain of releasing two different paths on evolution by making both cost.

    		Dread fiend! Yea, it's great. Blood rage is also a very nice card, besides the 3 shadow cost.

    		AWESOME!
    I LOVE THE NEW CARDS
    I got Void Reflection and 4 515 Attacks in the first try

    Moreover they were Gold Packs

    		I was surprised Void Reflection was available. So now I can expect them in every PvP match I enter, right? Even from Rats, who've somehow harnessed the powers of the Void...

    Well it's a good thing there's that new piercing attack, Blood Rage, to counter this.

    		Too bad they aren't any set limits to how many of 1 card could be in a deck, would help allow more usability of lower tier characters. I wouldn't mind having 2 mountain strikes on my Earth fairy or Iron Hide on Sonja.

    		@ Valk Sonja was meant to be the 'fast-hitter-that-doesn't-take-cover' kind of character. But, some defense cards like Iron Hides would be good too. :)

    		That extra 50 Hp on Lie Drain is so OP, lolz.
    Since non-pack-cards are in absolute number (e.g. all are 100's) that 50 Hp is like an extra 100 Hp all its own. It could just be 401 for that matter.

    		 No, you can't change your characters element, but you can add shadow cards to their deck

    		Add on to what Axel said, it will not be possible to use any of the shadow cards like poison, Mark of Death or Void Reflection since the character you used is other element. The only way to use shadow cards is to have a shadow energy booster card like the Neutralize, Fresh Restart and Energize so you can be able to use the shadow cards while using your characters' main element like Headless Horseman's main element is fire. Also, the only shadow cards you can use is Empower and Sacrifice since they doesn't cost any energy so you can use it freely on any characters.

    		 ^ You can. You just have to charge the Shadow element. You can do so by clicking the element itself in battle.

    But it's really unhealthy in battle since the manual charge button and automatic charge whenever you do your turn will affect the last element you charged manually

    Yes, I know that and like you said, it will be hard to use both element at the said time and that's why the best way to be able to use shadow card without even needing to charge the element by clicking it is the energy booster card for shadow which can be able to charge 10 shadow energy.
