Doesn't make it lame *shrugs* They don't just make it completely random, either. They used to have a specific meaning. They've gone off-track with that a little, though the circles, when they don't match, do have a meaning. For example, Augustiner and Bavaria's were yellow to fit the color scheme.

During the beginning when tons of characters were previewed, I thought the circle rune had meaning to it. But now, it seem to be random. But there are still some characters with the colour circle rune that really have meaning to it. Most importantly, I observed that the colour circle rune is what allowed the characters to charge up their energy using some kind of souls. Be it a good or evil souls I think.
