As I understand, the current system for this hasn't changed since I began playing. Currently, you kneel when you go below 200 Health (formerly 20 Health - gotta get used to that). This seems to only serve aesthetic purposes - less health, less energy to stand, I guess. Other than that, it doesn't really serve much practical uses.

The suggestion here is that instead of kneeling when hitting on or below the 200 Health mark, you'd be kneeling down when you're under 20% health. The main practical use of this is to have a visual on when Critical Heal is effective, rather than whipping out a calculator and memorizing when it works well for you.

...And the aesthetic purposes of this will remain.

Yeah. Makes sense. Would also be helpful for blood hawks.

Supported. It would be pretty helpful, and people wouldn't waste time (And/or turns) calculating their health.

Well, I have thought about this before, so of course I support this. Many more things need to become percent based too.

Supported. I don't personally use Critical Heal, but i do use the Blood Hawk sword's special and it would make it a little easier to know when i can use it.

@Igneous - If a 'decoration' in the game has an opportunity to both continue to be one and ALSO have added practical uses, would you not agree that there are actually no negatives to putting such a suggestion in? But to address your thoughts individually;

No, I have never actually used a calculator and have never bothered to remember or even figure out what 20% of my health is. I play on a casual basis and duel sporadically, so, on a personal level, this is actually just a minor irk more than anything.

I do not need a visual reminder to know when to heal. What I do want is a visual reminder to know when the conditions for a core to work are met.

I have not missed a turn calculating the number since I only come on for a limited amount of time. See above.

Most of my heals are done at around the 35% mark (just an estimate here). As said above, I don't need a visual cue to tell me how I should play. I'd like a visual cue to tell me that the core is actually effective or not effective at the time of my heal (or any other core requires the target below 20%).

"200 is more than 20% health for a lot of people unless your a tank build" - I'm not too sure what the argument here is, but if 200 is more than 20% of your health, then the cores are ineffective. If you're kneeling and have more than 1000 HP (AKA Tank Builds), then the core will be effective. I assume you mean the opposite, but whatever your case, you are simply using the kneeling action in its present state as a benchmark, when you could have it kneel at 20% and be completely sure its actually effective, without second thoughts.

The same argument can be made about 20% being 1/5 of your health bar. You're simply using it as a benchmark and you won't truly know if the core is working or not based on that.

But again, just to restate the main argument here. It's a decorative feature with an opportunity to have practical uses.

I personally don't have anything that requires an under %20 condition.
But this idea is very nice, mostly because it's positive, with no negative impacts what so ever.

Kneeling has always been there to make the game at least a bit realistic.
It'd be nice to have this idea implemented in the game.
