Well, about the Core's "nerf"
quote:

@Mecha_MarioAK: Heads up that some cores appears to got nerf in last update. Those are actually visual bugs in descriptions, so still do correct amount.
Pretty much it explains the situation of the cores. Hope that clears up.

Glad that the cores issue was cleared up.

However, Trans, I must say that it's ridiculous to blame a bad solution on the players pointing out the problem. What are we supposed to do, stay silent? We don't expect weekly balance changes, but we do expect them to come eventually. The devs have made no indication that they even recognise that there are balance issues worth addressing. As I have emphasised countless times, they should let players know that they have been heard and a solution is in the pipes, and let players know rough details about the solution (since the devs seem pretty bad at balance testing - is the testing team just checking for bugs?) for some preliminary feedback. You can't leave us hanging for half a year only to release a bandaid fix. In AQ we know that an SP sweep is coming; in DF that a major change to the stats system is being considered. In ED? The devs don't even show that they know there's a problem, let alone that they're working on a solution.

I simply cannot see how poor solutions are the fault of the player base when they do not suggest those solutions in the first place. We simply point out the problem. It's like blaming voters when they lash out about the state of the economy and politicians bungle policy responses. You keep blaming pressure from players. But how else do the devs know that a certain balance issue is severe enough to warrant attention?

Something I have emphasized on when mentioning the "how feedback should be gathered" in my previous post(s).

I won't say you're wrong, since we've got different views and each is backed up with some sort of reasoning - at least on the "pressurizing" topic, since that one is really debatable, in my opinion at least. Also, I'm not blaming every poor solution on the players, but some are clearly players' fault, especially when they are specific examples - TLMs in Delta is one, when players wanted them to lose Smoke and then nerf every skill that syngerizes with Smoke (Frenzy and Maul were the two). In the end, Devs messed up and kinda pushed the nerf too far - basically, did all at once, instead of gradually making the changes and getting some results back, before any further changes are done.

@SSM

While that may be true some players want nothing done but balance, and feel that anything else is a waste of time. At least that is what I have been getting from some of the players in the forums. IIRC (Correct me if I am wrong) But I even remember you saying that the art team should stop doing art so they can focus on helping Titan and Rabble with balance when I posted several times before that making everything nothing but balance update would put charfade and the other art staff out of work.

Not to mention many bad balance changes were made because players were pressuring the staff as Trans pointed out.

You can see class is not balanced in this Saeva boss. Some class can beat it easier and some class it is impossible to beat.

Its more than obvious that more than 99 % of you guys dont have a clue what beta was since you all say that it was not P2W.

Beta was the SUPER UBER P2W and thats that.

Epic duel today is the best ED ever. Period. Coming from me you know its true

^ I disagree,

The pay to win spike occurred when they added enhancements. (late beta)

But before that you would get maybe like 10 more stats and 1-3 more armor, nothing game breaking. (enhancements added like and extra 20+ more stats for varium players...)

I do agree that the removal of the varium advanatge is great, but many other factors stop this advanatge from making omega anywhere near as good as beta.

Delta was biggest P2W. Omega is only a tiny bit P2W but not as much as before. Omega is a "play and keep playing 24/7 to win or you get left behind because of Legendary ranks.

Every phase has have or had some form of pay to win.

From beta with the rediciously overpower founder armor
to omega puttiing in promo's that everyone had to wait a year to get. No matter what you call it Pay to win is still here and won't be going away.

Not too much problem with P2W in Omega IMO. If there is, thenit ain't about promos, but Class Changes.

@above that's true but the lionhart bot is seriously powerful, i suppose the bots just keep getting stronger and stronger everytime a new one gets released via promo or varium options.
i think the classes are fine for now but the build variety in some is seriously limited, i am currently a bloodmage and i've had my fair shares of wins/loss with all of the 6 classes not any that are too hard to deal with but not too easy either.

To be quite honest despite lion heart bots highest stats for bots, I've never seen someone using it that did more damage than i can do with my botanical borg, or people do with infernal androids

A little bit of P2W is good for the game. Beta P2W is the fair game. Gamma and Delta too much P2W.

Ill just say it once again. You all dont know what you are talking about.

Just ask some non varium players in beta. Every sword, gun, aux and armor had about +5 stats in average. Thats 20 + stat difference. Thats a fact people.

I belive theres too much whining kids today. Get over it, and if you dont like it dont play it. Find something else, dont blame the devs for your incompetence. I just did 20 straight wins without the use of any bot. So yea

Everyone who lives in the past gets ko-ed in the games like this cause its ever-changing. Get over your ko-ed ego and move on.

Yes sir you re right, noone of these guys really played old phases, either they play it now. Most of complaining here on forums is totally unreasonable and people post wrong info all over the place because they don t even get into the game to check what we re talking about.
