 Being that this is both an energy bot and it's attack is ranged I believe that it should be Deflectable, not Blockable.

I agree. This makes sense, as you usually can only block melee attacks, and deflect ranged attacks off their original path in real life.

Also, Blocking an Energy-based attack that is not a Strike doesn't make sense in the game's terms.

It is attacking with the bot physical claws to do energy damage just like any other energy weapon does with a melee attack.

Doesn't the bot release a claw-shaped energy thing when it slashes with it's claws? If that's so, then the bot isn't using a full melee attack, since the real claws themselves aren't hitting the player, the energy-formed claws are.

 Yea but the Botanical Borg E is deflectable Mother and it is the same thing except it is attacking with a Ball. The Botanical Borg P is Blockable however which is why Lionhart E should be deflectable

So is the Botaincal borg P in the terms of the attack being delfectable. The spore fires like it were a sidearm or Aux which in turn makes it deflectable. Where as with the lionheart bot it slashes you with it's claws. Even it it looks like a energy swipe it still slashing with it's claws which is a melee attack.

 The Botanical Borg P is blockable. I just fought someone against it.

@ Jacob I think it doesn't make sense too. Especially since he's hurling claws at you.

Great another one of those unmentioned changes which are really annoying. I remembered when it first came out it was delfectable with both forms. It leave me to wonder now are they going to make all energy and physical bots like this?

 Both the Botanical Borg and Dark Botanical Borg are deflectable, not blockable. As of today at least.

 Pretty sure I just saw someone block it though. The change I hate most was making the Bionic Battle Gear core 2 turns. It used to be three then I guess they changedit.

I think you mixed up the botantical hazard with the botantical borg in this case since the hazard's attack is blockable where as the borg's attack is deflectable.

@ Mother1 in that case even the abyss bot hits its enemy with claws then why does that defl and not get blocked?

Abyss bot P's normal attacks are blockable. I think E is deflect only tho...

 Only the Black Abyss Bot P is blockable, the E version is deflectable.

Never seen anyone using the P.......my mistake....... so does the E lion bot get deflected or blocked?

 well that's weird why black abyss P is blockable then. I guess I was mistaken by what I saw....but this is still a ranged attack and it should be deflectable.

@King Bling its blockable atm

I don't understand why Devs choose Abyss P to be blockable and E to be only Deflect...doesn't make sense at all. Obviously people are going to choose E because high tech=very low chance deflect and more damage. Also, with high tech usually comes lower defenses= more likely to block which is very counterproductive if 5 focus/tech user. It would make more sense if melee robots are blockable but ranged attacks robots are not, rather than doing random P=blocks and E=deflect stuff...
