This is a discussion so that everyone can just get an idea of the type of player attitudes that isn't generally accepted by other players. Some examples of this may be that you hate how rude other players are, or particular words, or even phrases. I feel if this thread can survive and players look at this and see that some of the things you guys hate are the exact same things that they are doing.

For me its when players suggest awesome really tough tasks inside suggestions and other players dont support it because their reason is "it sounds too hard".

I hate that because while the game is thriving for ideas these are the same guys shooting down good ideas because they pose a challenge in a PVP game

Well the staff themselves said that if an idea is too hard or time consuming they wouldn't do it. One example of a change that was vetoed by this was gender change. For them to do this they would need to link armors that aren't mutating to their gender changed counter part which would be an insane amount of work for them.

Also you have to remember ED only has 2 programmers which may or may not change anytime soon.

But on the topic of people's attitudes towards certain ideas, Some of the older forum users have seen some of the ideas being suggested before get shot down by the staff themselves and are just repeating those responses.

Personally I would love to see several ideas put into the game, however we have to remember that the staff is on a fix time schedule and only has 2 programmers.

Just adding on to this,

Sometimes people say it would be to hard because the original suggestion does not give nearly enough information to justify the probable issues.

You suggested an extra core slot, lets take a look at balance for a second, would it really be a good idea to add an extra core slot to certain few weapons given the current balance?

Definitely not.

If you want people to give proper opinions on suggestions, give proper planned out suggestions..

Something like, MORE CORES, or SUPPORT IMPROVE HEAL! does not cut it.

You have to address the issues within each suggestion,

For example the Support improve heal suggestion has major abuse issues, and exploding penguin made a good suggestion to make the skill a level one only skill that scales with support and gave backed up evidence etc. these are the sorts of things that needs to be pointed out.
