Prologue

One day , 21 years ago , a child was born , he was no normal child , this child had a great future , a future where he saves the world from countless , that child's name is Henry Newton , he was the second son of both , Orland Newton , who was a general and hero of Oaklore , and Veroneka Williams , the most beutiful widow in their village , their first son Max Newton , a child who had great fighting skills since his very childhood , of course someone from such an unnormal family wouldn't be normal , Henry was a curious child who liked to explore , and when his father was called to Oaklore , he was going with him , meeting their his friend , Rolith , who was older than him with just about 2 years , while his brother was older than him by 5 years , anyways , when Henry was 8 years old , his life started to change.

Chapter 1


It was a sunny summer day , Henry was playing with his brother , Max , and his friend , Rolith , and in that day , a man with black robes , wearing a black hood , arrived in Oaklore's inn , and since he arrived there , he didn't go out of his room , many rumors around this man spread , some say that he is a Necromancer , others say that he is a servant of the Dark lord , sent to wreck havoc in Oaklore , the rumors about him seemed countless , Henry and Rolith heard about these rumors , both of them were curious , and wanted to check on this man , so everyday they tried to sneak on the man , but everytime they get caught by Max.

Oneday , that man left the inn , and people say that he left Oaklore , and went in the direction of the swamps , so Henry and Rolith followed him , but they got caught by Max again "Where do you think you are going?" Max asked them in an angry voice "Hey , look at that sneveil" Henry said , pointing behind Max "As if I will fall to this" Max said "Come on , don't act like an adult" Rolith said to Max "It is my job to watch you" Max answered Rolith "Then leave us , and we will say that you didn't see us , ok" Rolith said , after a wink , then he kicked Max , and both of Henry and Rolith ran away.

"Hey" Max shouted , following both of them , Henry and Rolith ran to the swamps , the place where people believe that the stranger went , when they reached the swamps , they found the place foggy and full of dead trees , they were afraid "Don't go far , Okay" Rolith said in fear "Okay" Henry answered , after a long walk , both found a big lake infront of them , and they saw the black man standing infront of the lake , so they hid behind a bush , they saw the man casting a spell , but he suddenly stopped , and turned "You can't hid forever"The man said to them.

Henry and Rolith were very afraid , the man noticed , and the rumors about him seems to be true , he is somekind of Necromancer or evil mage , so he summoned from the ground two skeletons , the skeletons caught the children , then the man approached them "What do we have here? Some curious and annoying children"The man said "What do you want of Oaklore , evil man?" Henry said in anger "I want nothing of it , I just came here to do something , so I wanted to rest few days for rest , because I travelled a long distance" The man said

"Now I will show both of you what I wanted to do" , then the man stood in front of the lake to continue casting the spell , the two children started to sob , they are the ones who lead themselves to death , and they must accept it , while they were sobbing , they heard some footsteps behind them , fortunely , the man was focusing at the spell that he couldn't hear those footsteps , when Henry and Rolith turned , they saw Max holding a big stick , they cheered , but before they say something , he put his finger on his lips , meaning they mustn't make a noise .

Max hit the skeleton which was holding Henry , getting the attention of the other skeleton which threw Rolith and attacked Max , but Max broke it easily , the man was still chanting the spell , not paying attention to what was happening behind him , so Max approached him slowly , and when he was very near to him , he tried to attack him , but the man slapped him , pushing him few cms to the back , when Max looked again , he saw behind the man a zombiefied dragon , so he looked in awe and fear.

"That's why I came here from the very beginning , I heard some adventurer saying that he killed a water dragon , I lured him to tell me the place of that dead dragon , so I found out that it exists in the big lake of Oaklore's swamps , and I needed such a being for my plans , which you won't live to know it" The man explained to the children , then he raised his hand , so the dragon roared , then he pointed at Max , so the dragon roared again , this time looking at Max , Max starred at the dragon , knowing that he will die "Run!" He shouted "But what about you?"Henry and Rolith asked Max "Don't worry , I will take care of myself" Max said , holding the stick tightly "we will bring help , just try not to die" Henry screamed , running with Rolith , the man was casting a spell , so before he can do anything , Max through the stick at him , the man dodged the stick , and when he looked again , he didn't see them , the man laughed "It's not important , I won't fear men wearing foul metal with pointy sticks""Just what are you?" Max asked "I am a being that your humanoid minds can't imagine" The man said , ordering the dragon to eat Max , who stood bravely waiting the death blow.

Chapter 2


The dragon roared and looked at Max , and prepared to eat him "It's the end , goodbye Henry , take care of yourself" Max said to himself , and tears started falling from his eyes , he closed his eyes to take the death blow , but when the dragon was just in front of Max , a big yellow blast of fire in the shape of a dragon head appeared from far , and the zombie dragon's neck was the attack's target , so the blast bited the dragon's neck and cut it , killing the dragon , Max's eyes were still closed , waiting death , but he didn't die , so he opened them to see that the dragon is already dead , so he starred in surprise and joy , while the necromancer starred in shock and anger.

Both then saw two children and a man coming in their direction , Henry and Rolith had brought help , Max was happy , but the necromancer felt the oppsite , so he carried Max from his neck , and unsheathed his dagger , putting it in front of Max's neck , the children and the man arrived , that man was Henry and Max's father , Captin Orland of Oaklore , he was famous because of his magical sword , the Dragonlord's blade , it's said that he got it as a reward from a Dragonlord he helped when he was a mere solider , and by the time being , he started to study the blade and its magical powers , until he unlocked its full power , and his attack on the zombie dragon was a good proof on his power.

"Oh you are the legendary Captin Orland , I think this little boy is your son" The necromancer said , pointing to Max "You bastard , the rumors were right , you are a necromancer" Orland said , the necromancer laughed very loudly and for a couple of minutes "What's so funny ? Tell me !" Orland yelled "Everybody think I am just a mere necromancer , I am much more , much more" The man said , with a mad smile and look on his face , when Max saw him , he became more afraid , the man maybe really much more than a normal necromancer , but his mind is also not normal.

"Just one step , and you will lose your son" The man said "Please father , do anything" Henry said , while he was sobbing very much from fear on his brother , Orland was very frustrated , also he is a legendary hero , and have some legendary power , that power can't save his son "I see that you very much for your son" The man said "I have a deal for you""What deal?" Orland said , he became more frustrated "You give me the Legendary Dragonlord blade and I give you your son" The man said , Orland became shocked.

"And how can I make sure that you will give me him alive?" Orland said , the man laughed "You are quiet an intelligent man , Orland , but it would be better to take your son's dead body , other than it become lost" The man said , Orland was full of rage , he holded his blade very tightly , and was ready to stab that man in his heart "Calm down father , it would be better if we thought of a way to save Max" Henry whispered to his father , and that made him calm down a bit , he put his hand on Henry's head "Thank you my dear"Orland said with a faint smile on his face , while the other man had an evil wide one.

"I will give you the sword" Orland said "No father , don't do it"Max yelled "Shut up , let the adults talk" The man said "Now you are a smart man Captein Orland" Orland approached the man to give the man the sword , so the man threw Max in the lake , but Henry and Rolith were already ready to save him "You proved your intelligence much more Orland , you managed to save your child"The man said while looking at the children "Unfortunely for me , I won't be able to make him an undea-" While he was talking , he was iterrupted by a stab in his heart.

He looked at the sword entering deeper in his chest , and then going out of it , then he fell on the ground , while falling , Orland noticed a suspicous smile on his face , he wasn't comfortable with this , but he didn't pay attention to it , as now the necromancer is dead and Max is safe , Max ran to hug his father , and crying on his shoulder "I was really afraid , father" Max said "I understand your felling , we all were afraid" Orland said , when a tear fell from his eyes , Henry and Rolith were also crying , and ran to join Max and Orland.

When the group were leaving the swamp , they noticed a flash of light behind them , Orland turned slowly , he knew that he would see something uncomfortable to all of the group , and it was true , a purple thunder passed through the necromancer's body , which was rising slowly in the air , more thunder hit him , a dark aura around the necromancer , and his body glowed with much darker , the aura around him exploded , and his body was still in the air.

The glow started fainting , the necromancer wasn't himself anymore , the black robes were still there , but his hand , it was a skeleton hand , he took off his hood , there was no head , it was a skull "A lich" Orland said , starring in awe at what he saw "A lich?!" The children exclaimed "A lich is an undead necromancer , but the necromancer can't become a lich except if he reanimated himself by himself" Orland said he understood why did he let himself die , and why did he smile like that.

"But how can he reanimate himself when he is dead?" Henry asked "He doesn't do it when he is dead , he prepares the spell before death , and he finish the spell in the moment he dies , while his spirit is leaving him" Orland said "It seems that it's very hard" Rolith said "It's true , not any necromancer can do it" Orland said , remembering the necromancer when he was saying that he wasn't a normal necromancer but much more "I came here to reanimate a dragon and use it for myself , but now I am a lich" The lich said , while laughing crazly , and looking at Orland and the children , his first victims.

Chapter 3

"I came here to reanimte a dragon , but now I have reanimted something better , myself" The lich said , while laughing madly , then he looked at Orland and the children "Thanks to you idiots , I have got more power , reanimating something big and strong as a dragon won't take hours as it took this time , but now it will take just few moments , just look at what I can do" The lich said , he raised his hand , then revealed his hand , his hand glowed by the same dark glow that surronded him moments ago , when the glow disappeared , bones started rising from under the ground , and these bones started shaping itself in the shapes of different living creatures , from panthers to humans.

"Look at what I was able to do in one move , I raised a thousand skeleton , that means if I just repeated the same move for few minutes , I would be able to create an army big enough to destroy your felthy keep , but right now I have to destroy you first , you would make a great minion , Capetin Orland" The lich said while laughing madly again "Stand back" Orland said "But father ..." The children said , but they were inturrepted by Orland "It's dangerous , I am sorry I can't return you home safely" Orland said while he was crying.

"Hahaha , I wished for years to see such legendary and strong hero like you crying like that , but with my power , I can see all of those heroes like this" The lich said , looking at his hand proudly with an evil smile , Orland looked at the lich angrily , but focused on the army , which the lich ordered to charge , so Orland also charged , closed his eyes and prepared to use his blade's power , and when the lich ordered the attack , Orland let the power of his sword to attack , using the same skill he used with the dragon , and returned that army to what it was , a bunch of dead bones.

"You think you won , ha , in your dreams" The lich said , he used the same spell , and the army rised once again "Oh no , father can't use his sword's ability twice in few minutes , come father we must escape" Henry said "Ok" Orland said , they started to run away "Oh no you won't" The lich said , and another army rised in their way , now they are stuck between a whole army , Max took a stone from the ground , and through at one skeleton , the stone broke the skeleton's bones and passed through it , the stone passed through the bones of all the skeletons behind that one until it reached an empty area and fell on the ground.

Everybody looked at awe , even Max , who looked at his hand then the broken skeletons , with dstroyed bones , they can't be reanimted , Orland knew now that all he have to do is to cut the skeletons by his sword , and he did that , it took a while , but in the end he destroyed most of the skeletons , therfore he became very tired , so he stood to take his breath , he looked at the children , they weren't in their place , Henry and Rolith took big sticks and fought the undead , while Max , who didn't understand his powers , used it the same way he used it few moments ago , and they together finished the remaining skeletons , and destroyed the lich's army.

The lich looked at what the party have done , he was impressed , that's what a hero and his children are like , but he wasn't angry , he smiled and looked at the dead dragon , and Orland noticed his suspicous look at it , his blade wasn't ready for an another charge , but still he was ready to fight a dragon face-to-face , the lich saw how confident Orland was , and wanted to see such a furious battle , so he raised his hand , and it glowed again , but this time the glow was much darker than the previous times , and didn't reveal it this time , but he was drawing a strange rune by his hand , and when the rune was complete , he revealed his hand , and the rune fell on the dragon , making it glow by the same glow , the skin and flesh dissolved in few seconds , and the bones started reshaping , as they were damaged by Orland's attack , and the new monster was complete.

"A dracolich!" Orland said "A dracolich?!" The children exclaimed "A dracolich is an undead dragon , and whatever what element the dragon was tied to in life , it will be resurrected as a skeleton with darkness power and magic equal to what it had in life , and the rumors and stories about this dragon say that in life , it was a very dangerous and bloody creature , and it was a great danger for people who wanted to hunt the creatures of this swamp ,until it was killed few month ago"Orland said , explaining what a dracolich is and who dangerous this one is.

"I have already said that this was my intention of coming to Oaklore , but enough talking and start fighting" The lich said , pointing at Orland , the dracolich roared and charged to attack him by its teeth , Orland stood in his place and prepared to the best moment to move , and when the dracolich was just infront of him , he ran to the dracolich's mouth , and by an extremely fast move , he broke the its teeth , and pushed it away , but unfortunely , the dracolich wasn't destroyed yet.

"How bad you are , you have destroyed one of my dracolich's weapons , you must pay for what you destroyed , this what you say , right?" The lich said as a sentence of dark humor , then his hands glowed again , this time he wouldn't rise anything , he gave the dracolich the power to make a darkness , and after that , the dracolich's mouth glowed by the same glow , so Orland stood still , this time he was ready for another blast.

When the dracolich fired it's darkness blast , Orland used his blade's one , the two dragon blasts of darkness and light clashed , making a big flash , that no one was able to look , when the flash disappeared , the darkness blast was destroyed and Orland's blast attacked its original target , the dracolich , which was completely destroyed , most of its bones was destroyed to simple , useless ash , which the wind took it away , after that , Orland looked at the lich "You have nothing to rise anymore , so fight me with your own power" He said "You proved to be so strong , knight , so fighting you is just a waste to my power , which I want to increase , so I refuse your offer , and goodbye" The lich said.

The lich glowed by his usual dark glow , and when the glow disappeared , the lich himself disappeared , Orland , knowing that the threat is away now , let his body to fall and get some rest , the children then called for help to carry Orland to his house.
