Now that you're all thoroughly buffed from last weeks Power Weekend, you should be eager for some new weapons to show of your newfound strength! We've got plenty of loot for the anxious Dragonslayers out there with this Dragon-filled release!

Dragon's Destruction Arcade!
Look for the new Dragon's Destruction ArcadeBot found near The Slayer in the Barrens Outpost! Win never-before-seen dragon items while you rank up your new VIP achievement and climb the Arcade leaderboard!

Don't have any Tokens? Remember to do those daily missions! Every day is an opportunity to earn a free Arcade Token! Some other mission chains also offer Tokens as rewards.

Of course, if you want to win them all, you may need to mash the 10x button. That Color Custom Dragonslayer Armor probably won't drop on the first try like it did for me (no joke!).

Dragonslayers, to Arms!
Arcade not your cup o' tea? The Slayer has what the ArcadeBot don't. Check out over 25 new items, including limited quantity armors and seasonal rares designed by the diligent and talented Guest Artist team!

The Slayer will never know what hit him! Nobody expects dragon bazooka! Like the other DragonCon seasonal items, the new dragon weapons will only be around for a limited time, so grab them while you have the chance!

Dragon Styles!
You've got the equipment, now you'll have the style! Choose from over 18 new Dragonslayer styles (3 for each class and gender) to strike fear in the hearts of your enemies!

The first two styles (Gold and Onyx) are non-color custom to match the Gilded and Onyx Dragonslayer armors while the last style is fully color custom. If you're not sure which style is which, select a color swatch and see if anything happens. If the color doesn't change, the style isn't bugged -- it's working as intended.

See Us at DragonCon!

Well, you'll see some of us. Due to cutbacks and scheduling conflicts, the AE crew attending DragonCon will be less than previous years, but the staff that do attend are promising to make the panel EPIC! Unfortunately, no EpicDuel staff will be attending this year.

Talk Like a Dragon!

NO! Not dragons! Not really related to dragons at all (I've still got dragons on the brain, I guess), but Talk Like a Pirate Day is on the horizon and we have a MONSTER event planned around this very silly holiday. Styles, items, mission, npcs, and a redesigned Naval Yard are just a few things to look forward to in EpicDuel in the coming weeks!

Nice I am looking foward to this update.

I have to ask though will the dragon items in the arcade give the dragon master cheevo, or do you still have to buy a dragon weapon to get it?

 Charbinger items should be available from Slayer or Charfade already, since last week. They were there last time I played, during the weekend.

Ah ok so charfade doesn't sell the items but slayer does (for me).

Well then the button in "What's New" shouldn't teleport us to Charfade when clicking on "Charbinger items"

I might be alone about this, but the constant implementation of new arcade games frustrates me. I'm fine with paying varium for items that I'm fond of, but paying for a slight chance to obtain those items? Not so much.

What are the odds of winning something like a Pink Yeti in the arcade and what harm does increasing the drop rates do, as there are so many prize pools to choose from? I'm not particularly interested in playing the arcade as I will always land on Bronze, regardless of spending real money or playing once a day for free. As it stands right now, the chance that I land on gold in one prize pool is ridiculously low. And doing so in every arcade is nearly impossible, especially if you want both gold prizes in each arcade.

I've played other games that use the same model, where you open boxes with absurd drop percentages for items, and I've seen nothing but complaints about it on the forums. In the very least make a system like this fun, by which I mean something content related. For instance, you could buy a ticket of some sort with real money. Which gives you acess to a boss fight that drops the items. At least that would justify an insane drop rate, as you're having fun in the process by playing new content.

I don't know, I'm aware that the Arcade already exists and won't be taken out, but boy does it feel like a lazy cash grab. That aside, I'm excited for the waves of wrath thing :)

They are low but not impossible. I actually won the pink yeti as well as the electro hazard armor from the arcades though I sold the armor I still won it.

@Mother1, I think they could be lower as there are so many prize pools to choose from, is all. That's just me though, as I haven't won anything but a silver prize at best.

 We'll be looking forward to the feedback. Writing such big event isn't easy, but it can be fun. But there's a really fuuuuuuuuun story for it - just don't get killed. ;]

@Martinsen, you're not alone on this. I just spend 8 battle tokens on the new dragon arcade and all i got are 5 regal swords and 3 draconic clubs. what will i do with 5 regal swords? Lols. I thought arcades are suppose to be fun. ?

After all these years there are still no dragon con themed sidearms. I see armor, primaries, and even aux's but no sidearms. I would love to see some dragon themed sidearms next time around.

The 3 color custom armors i thought were suppose to match primary/gun/aux but the set lacks a gun as mother pointed out. :/ so now the question is when will a gun release that matches the 3 armors? as it is now its not truely a matching set without the gun.

Did I read this wrong?

Because it seems that there is only 3 versions of the armor? (one for each color type not gender nor class).

Is this the case?

I believe the armor likely mutates to match your current class as well as gender; the "eighteen" versions imply three variations each armor can take (hunters, mercenaries, mages) and the two possible genders.

 I think it changes depending on your class, because I did see a Skinny TM With the armor and I doubt mercs will have that size, So it does change sizes I guess.
