I know this is something requested by alot of players, the main reason im posting this thread is because not everyone is enjoying omega, including myself, I feel like ED should like at least make a server based off on the gamma battle system, and I understand how the devs said that going backwards isnt the answer, well I feel like Omega isnt getting better and its mostly based on luck and some people might like it(but not me tbh), im not saying to like change the main server(epic) but like add a new server based on the gamma system

Lemme know what you think about this?

If the staff finds this anyway inappropriate in any way, idc if they delete it, they can if they want to, at least im sharing my thoughts

 I suggested something like this a very long time ago, near the beginning of Omega.

IIRC they trashed the code for previous phases so they would have to remake the whole thing from pretty much scratch. Probably not gonna happen, unfortunately.

This has been suggested quite a few times not just in this form. IIRC I have seen players frequently suggest making it go back to the beta battle system, and even the delta one. However the staff admitted that they don't keep the old code which means that it wouldn't be possible.

Then there is the fact that even if they did do that, it still wouldn't be the same. This would be due to their being 3 classes more than there was in gamma, and their being no passive skills.

 Locking this topic up since it is something that is just not possible! I understand you may have preferred Gamma and that other players may have done too, however it is basically impossible for this to happen. Not only would it be confusing for people to have servers running completely different times, the way the game works with the servers, the logins and so on would make it absolutely impossible for a 'Gamma server' to be created. It's not just a matter of having a copy of the old code, it is that there are characters saved to each profile, characters that have probably got gear from after Gamma on, characters that are of a class that did not exist in Gamma and a long list of other changes that would simply cause the servers to break from confusion basically. I am sure there are plenty of suggestions that could be made on how to 'get around these problems' but in reality it would take a very large amount of time to work any 'work around' and this would likely not even fix the majority of problems anyway. Due to this, sadly this topic has to be locked up, because it is simply nearly impossible and trying to make it work would take too much time and still be unlikely to fully work!
