 Hello there, my english might not be good. but ill try my best to post what i think is good for epicduel right now :) Buying varium right now is like buying promotional packages but no use for the varium! ofc because non variums gets to the same items as we do when buying items it's just that they buy it in credits which is annoying, some people don't like this but im fine with it. but here's my suggestion. i was thinking more like adding "extra Enhancements" For example... u go to mirv or watever and ask him for "extra Enhancements" then u add a gun or watever. And uc an upgrade 5 extra points on gun. then for example ur real ehancement is maybe umm... 8 on dex 8 on tec and 3 on supp. with those enhancements u can put them on supp so it would be 8+ dex and 8+ tec and the "original enhancement" 3+ 5 (light with green) the 5 is the enhancements u bought. that's for gun... :) Each enhancement can cost 200 or 350 varium. If you want to add it for Non variums aswell. then each point is 35-40k each. this will make it pretty much fair for varium! If i would full enhance my items then heres my results: THE RANKS ARE GOOD BUT I THINK EXTRA ENHANCEMENTS FOR VARIUM WORKS :) NON VARIUMS WON'T SUPPORT BUT I WANT THE VARIUM TO BE USEFUL IN SOMECASE. THANKZ

Example! Tank:

Strength: 45 + 0

Dexterity: 50 + 35

Technology: 50 + 35
13 but with all enhancements on str = 13 + 37 = 50
Support: 45 + 13 (Example: i added all my ench on supp) the 13 is the original enhancement... +37 more. 13 + 37 = 50 so 45 + 50 support.




Gun maximum 5 slots points extra enhancements
Bazooka maximum 5 slots points extra enhancements
Sword maximum 9 slots extra enhancements
Primary "club,claws,staff" maximum 10 slots extra enhancements
Armor maximum 8 slots extra enhancements

Thanks hope you support it. i know it won't get up but i'll give it a try.

I agree with pretty much this entire post. BUT, even if all changes cannot be made, I propose that at least, 6 EXTRA slots on a weapon can ONLY be unlocked with varium. Eg on a sword, it is currently 12-12-4 , if you had VARIUM, you could make it 14-14-6 or perhaps 18-12-4

 I like this, we need more to do with var besides the same old same old. I support. And if we cant do this then why don't we edge toward enhancements by allowing us to purchase more core slots on our weapons for 5k var.

 We already have broken ranks I think I have a great idea. Lets add even more broken stat boosts. Seems a like a great idea I mean what could possibly go wrong?

apart from small things such as-
Would be way harder to balance.
People would complain about varium being too strong.
People would complain that they are forced to use credits on items they dont even like the looks on just to win. ( I buy a cool sword a cooler sword comes out but I already enchanted my previous one so I need to enchant the cooler one.)
Would take the devs time off small other things such as battle modes(etspecially the jugg) and over lapping skills in different class skill trees and energy flow problems.
It would add more abusable builds ( kind of the same as point nr1.)

Why is this a good idea?
Because game needs something new.


So over alll I think this is a great IDEA. Supported for the reasons above.

There already was stat enhancements there in the Delta phase and they got removed.
The new enhancements are cores and varium promo sets with more powerfull cores.

Have you seen Xam's video of the 100% block and deflect core not working? This isn't the 1st time that a promo has been bugged during Omega and quite frankly most people are sick of it.

The last one before this i think was the Blood Hawk E doing physical damage. That one was just plain stupid.

Also i would like something like this to be implimented into the game, sounds like a small advantage for the varium players but not a large enough advantage to make all of the F2P players really mad.

There is no such thing as a small enough advantage to not upset free players in a pvp game. It does not exist. That is why this game has such an incredibly low number of players, and is having to rely on a specific type of gamer to survive.
They removed enhancements because it was killing their game.

I wonder if the 100% block thing works against platinum's pride core..

A general rule of game design is that Never trumps Always.
Platinum's pride effectively has Enemies Never Block
Core effectively has User Always Blocks

Platinum's pride should go through it, as a counter. If it doesn't, it should be changed to.

 Varium already had a massive advantage. E.g. Easy switch to the op classes whenever you like. Get latest op promo gear which will be nerfed by the time its out for creds (also by the time old promotionals come for creds,newer more powerful promotional gears will be released - old promo bot damage 170 new 190 ).

Furthermore the power difference between free players and varium players will be increased further leading to greater p2win instead of brain2win. And I believe free players make a large if not larger percentage of epicduel playerbase.

Using phone to write hence the broken english :).
