1.I have noticed a really huge issue, the Assault Bots. At only 20,000 credits not only does it do good damage but it also reduces 65% of debuff effects. At 42 support a max malfunction takes away -32 technology, well just by using the assault bots special it can be reduced to a measly 11! I think something really has to be done about this, because it's a very powerful robot for the price especially in 2v2 if you fight two assault bot users, you can expect a loss because they can instantly reduce each other's debuffs leaving all your attacks mediocre. To make this a little less of a scary robot perhaps the cleanse effect should be reduced to 50%.

2.Another thing is that bludgeon is a little underpowered and I think it deserves a buff. This skill is limited to physical damage only and is block able as well. This makes it quite a risky skill to use and is pretty much unusable against high dexterity users and there are a lot of those so please consider a buff to Bludgeon, we deserve this. Maybe we can make it a choice of energy or physical damage or we can leave it as it is but make it unblock able or reduce the energy cost at each level by ten.

3.The Kartherax's Darkspawns deserve a buff too, yes it has the highest base damage(besides Lionhart and the new 1) but the fish special is only 3 turns and there is a huge load of other moves, skills, cores to use while there weapon is fished, and after the effect passes they can go right back to wrecking you. I think this bot deserves to have THE highest base damage(200), or you can buff the special to 4-5 turns.

4.Blood Commander should be immune to Azrael's Torment/Heart Attack. In case some of you have not realized many of the mercs use strength and there are already so many ways to counter that, fish bot (even though it only lasts 3 turns), intimidate (3 turns but a very low energy cost, so annoyingly spammable) and the buff to counter that (BC) can be reduced to garbage with a simple core/robot special, thus leaving them totally powerless. Kartherax's Darkspawn is already a bit underpowered so we shouldn't nerf that, Intimidate is fair enough I'd say, so that leaves Blood Commander. If those overpowered Tactical Mercenaries get their Mineral Armor immune to the special, then I think mercenaries deserve that too on blood commander.

Well those are my thoughts, please leave your comments and suggestions to help the issues. Thank you

The debuffs used to be 80% when it first came out and back then it was overly useful. However now due to the vastly variety of robots the Assault bots at higher levels are a joke. There is the Blood Hawk, Black Abyss bot, and now the Katraix bot that all have debuffing abilities that are immune to the Assault bot's cleanse. But nerfing this bot I can't support. This would only make those players who use double debuffs builds (Robot + Skill/Core) Builds in 2 vs 2 even more powerful.

You shouldn't be using this against high dex users especially if you are not one yourself and they have higher dex than you. If you do you should expect a high chance that they will block you since you are going against what their builds are designed to do which is block. Also making it unblockable? Strength builds will have a ball with this one seeing as it would be another risk free move.

Mercenary already has a move that is immune to Heart attack/Azreal's torment and that is hybrid armor and trust me people have more issues with hybrid armor being immune to Heart attack/Azreal torment than Mineral armor. With Mineral armor you can go around it by switching up to energy attacks but Hybrid armor? You can't go around it unless you have poison since it ignores defenses. But the main reason why Mineral armor has immunity to this move is because it was a passive skill originally and back then it wasn't affected by heart attack or Azreals torment. So when it became active it retained that same effect. Blood commander however doesn't so that was why it wasn't given this immunity.

Also Intimindate isn't a counter to this because this only nerf's strength. A Focus Merc using this could still use their Aux, and Robot to get around this debuff and the life steal would still remain intact. Using a shield unless it is Hybrid armor won't help either because all you would have to do is just go around the shield with a different kind of attack. Same rule applies with the Kartherax bot as with Intimidate seeing as I could bot, Aux, or use another skill and the life steal effect won't be countered.

To be honest the only real counter to this move is the same one you want to remove because of one build.

1. It has the lowest damage in the game. If they use assault bot to weaken malf or smoke, it's pretty much the same thing as them skipping their turn. Honestly, no one would skip 2 simultaneous turns in 2v2 just to weaken a debuff, much less a -32 malf when you can simply pop a shield on.

Let's say your malf costs 250 EP. Basically, you have a guaranteed stun for that amount, plus a little boost! 2 stuns if both players on the opposite team use this bot (which is unlikely because no one uses this bot)

2. This skill does high damage with a low energy cost. Being locked to physical is actually a benefit, because you can customize your weapon set accordingly and adapt to your opponent. It is at least a better overall skill than double strike.

3. Of course, you need to properly time this bot just like with any single use special. Or, using this effect already lets you manipulate your opponent into not using primary based moves and thus taking advantage of them. At least it isn't as weak as the Bunny Bots.

4. It would be nice if the armors got their cost lowered in exchanged to being vulnerable to Heart Attack. I'm guessing that they were made this way so Heart Attack wouldn't gain too much power from the passives to actives change.

Also, intimidate doesn't cancel out the strength gain from Blood Commander at the same skill levels as well as not stopping the lifesteal, as Mother1 said.

There are tons more robots that are just better than assault bot. On focus builds, using the bot is pretty much never worth it because a good focus build already has very strong countermeasures to debuffs, and using the assault bot to cleanse puts its attack on cooldown. A bot is a primary source of damage for most focus builds. Also, the bot's base damage is absolute trash.

Bludgeon is amazingly cost-efficient and deals set physical damage. The fact that it always deals physical damage is actually a benefit in many cases because it widens the pool of offensive options the mages have. No buff needed IMO.
