Well done Clinton.

I had tried everything with CC's for my Bavaria against Templar on practice battles but got bad results since i'd only win when luck was by my side. We all know luck is not consistent, relying on that through-out the whole Tournament was going to be like relying on a miracle. I always knew it was not going to be easy going against a good player with a strong based card deck of a character like Templar's. That is why I just resulted in deciding to interestingly go against Clinton with no CC's to draw more I.H chance but proved to no avail as Templar is really 'powerful' & the true definition of the word.


P S: I don't know if I have time for the 'Lower Bracket' as I need to sort my life out sometime soon since i'm going through a difficult time atm (family problems). Despite that i'll try my best but if I fail to continue on then at least now you guys know my reasons. Take-care & good luck to you all.

Templar should have been banned to be honest. It may be more cost heavy than other characters but it still has the best cards of light.

That's why 'Chaos Tournament' is probably not going to happen so soon, until maybe we get at least some Chaos variety around here.
TBH, I wouldn't really mind if we had a Chaos Tournament just with Drakath's because at least then it would be equal chances for everyone unlike on this L. Tourney.
I'm sure Skurge will figure out something by then.

I managed to get past Gorillo Titan 2-0, although it took a 5-hit combo stun to win on his initiative in the first duel. His Omni Knight build is very well-thought out and dangerous if he gets set up (I won't say more because I don't wanna reveal anything since he's still in. :P)

Yeah, but it's hard to set up with all the charge cards. He needs to get lucky with his draws or the battle has to take long enough for him to do it. (I'm guessing that he didn't set it up in the second match, since you won by nearly 4000)

Nice matches, wish I had had time to level before the tourney xD

Probably my fault that I didn't mention the level of my character before the first duel as well though.

2nd match vs dylligraphy I went off a 4 charge with the hopes of getting enough heals and shields to sustain me through the fight.

Congratulations to Axel and that concludes all of the first round matches, everyone has played with no disqualifications! :D

According to the upper bracket it's now:
Axel vs. The Warden now with the winner playing DarkBaneX
BJEBLE vs. Kiyone with the winner playing clinton

In the lower bracket it's:
The Jop vs. Chaosplayer
PzychoMaster vs. Resk
Vertigo vs. Richime
MentalDaemon vs. Liljojo

Essentially although I had just double Greater Healed and in the last turn he had about 1000 health but 2500 in Health + Shields so I was fortunate to get a Blessed Holy Strike to just barely finish him under his Shields or he could've gotten his Greater Heals in and extended it longer.

 Vertigo gave some fun matches earlier wish I had something closer in level to give him better matches.

Won 2-0 against The Warden good matches being able to use ironhides is really essential for Bavaria.

 Just had a very fun but intense down to the wire matches with BJEBLE. Where i won 2 to 0. His templar thou is a force to reckon with. I'm lucky to have beat him. Those fight could have gone either way. I fear for you guys in the lower brackets.

I agree. Honestly, I didn't think Aphrodite stood a chance against Templar but somehow you managed to win and you can count me as impressed as Elite Tuga.

As for BJEBLE, to say you were close is an understatement. 22 HP is about as close a margin as I can recall a tournament duel being decided by and the prospect of being paired against you in the lower bracket should be of serious concern to anyone in this tournament.

If the earth tournament happen today would the results still be the same with EF and Taurus being on top or would Moose , Rev, Ram, be able to change the results greatly since all of them are free characters?

@Gorillo At least two people would be using Moose, any character with two Petrifies has the potential to be good in PvP.

The newer stuff has less dead draws in comparison with "better" base decks.
