I'm sure Tyrant Moose would've done quite well. Rev was actually released while the tournament was in progress and I levelled it to 20 but didn't end up using it because Minotaur was dominating. Also because Minotaur has a 13-card deck with a couple Mountain Strikes and because Rev has Tree of Life (a card I'm not fond of) and no Mountain Strikes or EarthQuakes.

Taurus was very popular but actually didn't do particularly well in the Earth tournament because its extra Petrify would often backfire if people didn't time it right, not to mention its 17-card deck (this wasn't so bad because its extra cards are things other characters would probably want to CC anyway, but it did become a factor against Minotaur's small deck and to a lesser extent, Earth Fairy's. I doubt Earth Fairy is better than Taurus but it could get the odd win against one if you kept an eye on your energy and stayed under the cap while using nothing but Stone Walls and Mountain Strikes.)

So what are y'all gonna ask for once chaos is added?

2 vs 2 before elemental resistance would be pretty fun

Congratulations DarkbaneX! That means we're opponents next, which is sad because I'd rather neither of us had to lose but one of us must. Knowing your character there's a good chance I could fall. :S

It made no sense to ban corruption in this tournament sentry lord with corruption still isn't god mode strong and bavaria with a lack of greater heals wouldn't of been a real threat and omni with so many dead draw opportunities wouldn't of been incredibly powerful either.

Chaosplayer let me know that he will be on most of the time at 3 a.m. (in my time), so we won't be able to meet until sometime on the weekend when I don't have to wake up early the next day.

Looks like a Templar is going to win. It was a pretty big oversight not to ban it when all the other powerful light legendaries were banned.

The other two were banned for different reasons, Templar just happens to be the opposite side of light(Utitlizing Holy Strike to maximum effectiveness) rather than the stalling, which is what Skurge and Kiyone were worried about.

As someone who doesn't care if they win or not in the tournament im gonna say how this tournament should of been made fair.

1. Banning iron hide was a good idea
2. Banning corruption shouldn't of happen since the only chance free players would of had was with the dual element characters anyway.
3. Ban all the legendaries like they originally planned a lot of the master characters are on equal par with each other.
4. If you did 3, 2 could of been ignored since nothing would of had the ability to out heal a corruption.

If these things were done we wouldn't of had free players complaining.


Now I say that to say this if you guys plan to ban corruption and iron hides what are people gonna do in the dual tournament banning iron is ok but some of them need corruption to be on par several of the other dual which can run dot and hit hard suck as cyber void and mana guardian?

What free players complaining, like it's a big movement? I'm the only one saying anything and I'm not really bothered by it (not like I was with the neutral tournament), I'm just saying it was a poor choice. I already lost, I don't care what they choose to do.

they are...I think, I'm not, though I could've been(if I had dropped $ into this game earlier, which I wasn't sure of doing when founder was available), since Templar is the only sg char with the advantage(as seraphim, and queen/princess are banned, while sentry and father time aren't good) it'll probably come down to either a Templar vs. Templar, Templar vs. Omni or Templar vs. Bavaria, though I'd like not to rule out LM or Aphrodite...I haven't seen many pics of them winning(0 win pics with LM, 1 win pics with Aphrodite)

Isn't corruption almost entirly limited to people with SG due to pull rate anyway?
and light being able to out heal it with its best ability only, does sort of indicate that it is too good :3

As for Omni being worse than templar, at level 20, the battles last long enough that you can get all your charges off, and be able to spend a silly amount of free mana for bonus damage.

Also, I won on page....3? so bracket needs updated so i can duel warden then bj :3

My first Neutral pack for gold included a corruption 2 525 and 2 shields so its completely possible for free players to have it.

Not everyone feels like training a light guardian all the way to a Templar just for a tournament. sgs players would only have the advantage if they decided to use a sgs character.

With how long most of us have been playing this game a lack of CC isn't an excuse. When I was a free account I use to get 15k gold bought several CC packs in a matter of a few hours, so at this point it just comes down to who wants it the most and luck. Since I've spend 400k on gold just to get one card and never got it and other times have got the card easily.

Think of it like the players who find very rare stuff quickly vs does that have to look for months and months just to get a simple character if you didn't keep looking you still wouldn't have it.

@Resk Templar vs omni comes down to omni stalling for time while a good templar player saves greater heals in hand so when they finally do get a chance to attack with something amazing greater heal brings it back as if it was nothing. Templar has the damage and the healing to destroy omni unless your incredibly lucky. Your neutral card is pretty much useless without being able to use corruption or iron hides, which just becomes a dead card sacrifices are to risky cause you can easily get hit by a surprise retribution and then 2 500s and a holy strike the next turn bringing you down to a situation you have to heal or attack and hope the enemy doesn't have another attack card to finish the job.

Bavaria who lacks healing vs Templar who succeeds in pure str. Sentry lord with corruption would still be pretty weak since he doesn't have iron hides and retribution would rip through him.

I've 2 corruption, 3 iron hide, and still not 525's, silly chance,,,,,

Though, main point of it being one of the better cards is still valid :3

I personally think 525 isn't that relevant unless you have 2 in combo to increase your combo from 1650 - 1700 which can actually kill.

over long battles, it will stack, even if not done in the same combo, the extra 100's will all add up, and with light, they do tend to be long :3
