Why not take the animation and certain skills from NPCS like Dav and Abyss Spider? They have moves that could be switched with these classes. For example:

Davaarils FireScythe: Unlike the normal FireScythe, Davaarils FireSythe is Blockable, it is also a Physical Move that deals Primary Damage. That animation (Move) could be swapped out with BM Bludgeon (so that TM and BM don't have the same skill). If anything, the scaling would just need to alter a bit to mimic bludgeon. Both moves are physical, blockable, and deal primary damage.

That's just one out of the many moves that could be switched out. This way you don't have to waste your time making new moves.

I mean, this is an easy way of just skimping on a lot of work. It's perfectly fine but there are a couple problems:

-Bosses will have less unique skills making boss fights slightly less interesting.
-There is so much that can be done with new skills, and limiting it to be based off of premade animations can limit the concept behind skills

For skill overlap I'm honestly hoping some real brain power is put behind them to make some skills ridiculously interesting, versatile for multiple different builds, and fun to use. Some cores have come out that are really unique, but cores are limited to 1 use. The main problem I have with this is that it just is an easy way out that would take away the opportunity for the game to reform and come back with some really fun and interesting changes.

True but, no offense to devs, it either takes them half a year or they just don't want to do it

what I would honestly say is:

If you know you can do it right then do it right the first time, don't screw up and do a shoddy job as a band-aid.

We know the devs can do some pretty neat stuff because energy parasite, assimilation (on release in gamma), etc... are all VERY unique and extremely interesting skills (I have a beef with both as they are staple skills in the meta and that shouldn't happen, but nonetheless they are very, very interesting and quite cleverly designed). Also, recently, the very, very slow balance changes have for the most part been 100% beneficial and have really not shifted a class from being OP to useless or vice versa. That frenzy change was very good as it made TLM, a very weak class, into an extremely viable yet not OP one. They can do it, they just aren't for who knows what reason.

We hardly do bosses anyways, they're not even fun anymore because they're so easy. I do not see a problem with this suggestion
