After taking a break from this game a little bit due to obvious reasons, I logged in today to check hows the war going, legions are losing ofcourse, and it was the case since the infernal 1.0 war was rigged to make exile win, but hey there is something cool about legions losing: war rallies, so yeah exiles good luck and congratulations with another coreless and useless armor. That's not the subject of this post anways.

I did some battles, and I found out that normal war items give less influence this war, last war they give 37 - 44 influence and in this war they give 17 - 23 influence.
I have no idea why they lowered it, but frankly this just gives me another reason to never play these repititive wars again.

The fact that each war is similiar to the last one, and before it, and before it, and before it..., just different looks of war items.
The fact that they lowered influence given by normal war items.
The fact that PVP is way too imbalanced.
The fact that dropping chnce of normal war items is very low.
The fact that you have to sacrifice with your sword's passive core in order to win more war items.
The fact that you have to lose even more because you sacrificed with that passive core.
These are all reasons why wars aren't so fun and playable, and main reason ones as you can see are related to PVP.

It's 10 times better to buy super war items then to play PVP and wait for a drop.
Even buying war commanders in this case doesn't help in anything, you will end up having to play PVP, which is imbalanced to get the drops.

Everyone knows that PVP is imbalanced due to the abundance of strenght builds, and day after day I believe that devs like it this way. We can't deny that they wanted to make battles shorter, and if battles are shorter, waiting time for battles will be shorter, they tried many ways but non worked, and they the last solution and easiest one is buffing strenght builds.
The reason I say this, it is because knowing PVP is imbalanced, and letting it this way for 1 month isn't a coincidence.
Launching a war in these circumstanses isn't a coincidence. The next fix is 2-3 weeks after the war, making it unplayable for anyone who wishes to play for war drops.

I think the best thing they can do is:
1- Make the balance fix earlier ( from 8th of may to 1st), or atleast let the ranks fix for 8th and general PVP in 1st of may.
2- High influence given by normal war drops.
&/or
3- Higher dropping chance of normal war items.

And for gods sake, add a 3rd core slot only for War commanders. Dont you guys understand passive core slots cost alot and are highly beneficial to PVP? Why should war commanders be a bargain in war?

I support all three options and I must admit, the game is starting to get so bad that it actually is more fun buying bombs than actually playing.

What I would suggest is for you guys (devs) to stop these wars. Bring back flags. Let us have our fun with flags and while that is keeping us busy for 2/3 months, you guys should take those 2/3 months and dedicate it to intense testing for PVP and features.

Nothing good has come out of omega so far because everything you have introduced wasn't fully tested. You literally use the population as your testers. You cant have 4 people testing something that thousands (now hundreds) of players will use. Have another call for testerS, spend some time picking good ones who dont mind volunteering and start doing things the right way.

Okay..sooo

Idk what you are doing, but this war's basic drops do 35-45 (approx) consistently, unless you are referring to legion drops strictly, with which i have no experience (being exile).
Secondly, I get war drops with 3 out of 5 wins.
I win regularly, both 1v1's and jugg, and most of the few 2v2's that I do. (and I am a pretty much non-var player, playing mainly with a lvl 23 Techmage accnt).

On the flip side, I do agree that wars have become somewhat repetitive.
I, however, do reasonably well in pvp, and have never used str builds, and usually create my own build that isnt anything in particular.

So, I think the problem with battles lies in the battle-er (if you will), not as much the game, though there are extreme imbalances present. I just accept the imbalances (though do highly anticipate any changes that will make it better), and deal with them, and still win. I have been playing since literally days after beta closed, so I do remember the old game quite fondly.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

I agree mostly, The Infernal war was the best war ever. They need more original ideas like that.

Believe me, playing the game from level 1 - 37 is much fun, because of leveling up system, but believe me once you reach level 38, things get a little dirty. All the 2vs2 battles you used to enjoy will become not so enjoyable after you get paired with a level 40 against 2 level 40s, but you will get that as soon as you are level 36. 1vs1 will get a bit hard, after you meet a rank 60 player, you will be farmed sadly. Last option will be npcs. And then it will be your choice. Farm or get farmed.

With the current system we have, this is why aliens won't visit us haha

Is this the problem with match making system or war drops???

I myself started playing this game after a long break and tbh i find myself in a really bad spot whenever i try pvp. Most of the time i was matched up against rank 50+ which leaves npcs is my only option.

Since the player base is really..really low this is a hard problem to solve which leaves npcing the best option for lvl 35-39.

They are planning to add more ranks (40 ranks) and 4 more slots to put your legendary points. Luckily only 2 of those are PVP related, and in total there will be only 8 slots related to PVP (rank 80), so if you see a rank 100 player, only 80 of them are PVp related. Even though 80 ranks is still a high number, and I think that a level 38 will face ranks 80s after the update, because if they don't, any player ranked 60 or higher will be isolated when players number is low.
So I hope this underdog mode is pretty good, seeing how much things are waiting to be fixed.

am not an str player , speaking about imbalanced pvp , the fact that am a f5 player (bh - rank 26) i am not having any hard time with str players , rank 1 or rank 60 is the same to me ... like this war alone i did 150 wins to 25 loses or so ... str is not strong as u said , u just need to play the right strategy when vsing them .

and yeah i noticed the low % of war drops it's a lot less then last war ... and dealing little influence also .

@berserker third core slot only for war commander is an awesome idea ! why i never thought of that ... i support it 100 % .

Well ill try to get it in game comical. This could also be used if they bring flags back. I'll constantly tweet/ post suggestions and see what happens
