If you had to choose between these different options for the game...
-Giving items their own stats again
-Bringing back passives
-Bringing back enhancements (with lowered credit cost)
-A mass release of non-luck based cores.

which would you choose and why?

passives because its a waste of a turn to activate them ! like the tech mage and tactikel mercenary's battery backup , you could do damage instead but no you have to get the mana back. also for bloodlust if the person blocks , well thats a waste , if its always on then you wont have the probalem because its always on!!!

Why would we have to choose? Just having one of those wouldn't change anything.

Good old times when items had their own unique stats. I used to collect a lot of items for future build purposes, but everything changed when it's all the same.

I would change the classes back to when they were actually different.

Thanks to some complainers the classes have lost so much of their uniqueness with the whole "ALL classes must have (insert skill here) or All classes should have (insert the way everyone else works here)

For all that you might as well scrap classes and make custom skill trees because that the game is heading in that direction with all the complaints about how X has something but Y doesn't.

Classes ARE different. Builds make them even more different. The skills requirement are there to keep a standard while still having diversity with the different effects but somewhat same outcome (e.g. gaining mana; bm steals it in two turns, bh uses bombs, tlm and tm have batteries, etc. BUT all gain mana for the player).

i think its better for all the stats for every weapon to be the same , just my opinion...

if I had to choose which is most important, i'd choose a mass release of non-luck based cores because some of the current cores are, in my opinion, not unique or useful

Because it will turn every item unique, an Omega issue is that every item is equal without cores, only the appearance change.
Items with own stats will give us diversity and a new task: find items that combine with our strategy.
Well, it would be nice and fun.

the problem with items that gave modifiers is the same problem with coreless weapons. Almost every weapon is DOA.

Why buy a coreless weapon when you have a cored one? Why buy a weapon if the stats set don't fix the competitive meta? If you think about a weapon like Caden's Wrath that was used up until the Spirit Staffs were released and all the F2P staffs that were released between there were a lot of DOA weapons.

Another prime example is Mjolnir and while it wasn't the staple for Mercs for as long as Caden's Wrath was for mages that weapon stuck around and was a level 23 being used by level 30 cap players.


Either system we use there will be a lot of weapons and armors created that will just not be used

I think your armors would be used way more than your swords and weapons. We just don't have enough armors.

Also the reason people dont use most weapons in game isn't always because of the "it doesn't have a core option". We love to look cool when playing. Here are the possible reasons and solutions:

1) problem: weapons dont match. Solution: Cc weapons
2) problem: if they do match they're the same element. Solution: Allow us to switch the element of our weapon (with restrictions of course such as items labeled P/E specifically cannot be switched nor can any weapon with a tag on it meaning limited/seasonal/ultra rare etc)
3) problem: Everyone can buy it hence its not unique and players love unique things. Solution: Theres nothing unique about swords anymore. we have a ton of them. Why not make more unique things? A star sword? An animated flame sword that burns brightly during battle? Or what about a gun that fires grenades at your opponent as a multi shot? Just use the same coding for multishot and change the art (half your work is done already). Why not have a "Heavy Metal Gunner" day with War-Like armors with sentry guns on the side/shoulderplate. Maybe even utilize the gun on the shoulderplate by allowing it to till the "Gun" requirement meaning it can be utilized when you click on your gun button. How about this!!! Legion/Exile sets that only Legion/Exile players can buy and specific shops that you can only purchase if you got the required amount of influence for that region (maybe 100,000 cap). These are unique. Everyone's gotta sword. Theres only so many diff ways you can make a sword. Might as well make something cooler.
