That's a normal outcome digi, as the came went from Pay-to-win (Varium=Money) to Play-to-win (Ranks=Time), whether using the first method to base your game on, or on the second one, there will be always players who find difficulties, as in first method, some can't pay real money to have an advantage, and in the second method, some don't have enough time to invest in the game. ED devs tried to balance between both, sure it chose the second method while having some varium shortcuts, but still, I find that the game has failed miserably to combine between both, so the game has turned simply into a hardcore game especially when the player base dropped down, matching players or no-lifers with 100+ ranks with players level 40 who just started 2 or 3 months ago
