instead of making the skill unusable for the rest of the battle it should give it a high cooldown , like 5 turns maybe ? if pyro fly is used on the energy gain mechanic it ruins it for the other person and makes it unfair

If this bot was 100% effective at getting the move the player wanted then I could see your point in the change, however it is 100% random meaning the player has no control over what they hit. This means you can get a completely worthless move in the process that the player would never use period.

This change would make the bot almost the same as consective shot, not to mention anyone using it for the soul purpose of getting through the legendary bosses will be screwed over as well so not supported.

not supported. you're just nerfing pyro fly and besides there are other ways to get energy in battle other than energy-based skills

Pyro fly is completely unfair. Static is always needed, shadow arts is essential against rage, reflex is a must have to counter smoke, poison is needed against tanks. MoB is always a must have for support as well, so pyro is definitely OP. Say it's a tank TLM. They knock out SA, ok. They knock out Venom, gg. They take out Static, might as well give up. If they take out reflex, that's good. If they take out MoB, yeah. GG. That means they have a 4/5 chance of disabling you. That's 80% chance. That's right. 80%. Ok, mother1, you're saying it's random. Ok. But you don't need certainty. You have an 80% CHANCE to take out your opponent. How is that fair? We'll try another example. Support TLM. In all of these scenarios, reflex is at 6, venom is at 6, static is at MAX, MoB is at 8 and SA is at 6 with level 1 smoke and the rest on cheap shot. That's probably the most anti-pyro skill set you can have-5 highest level skills. We'll continue with Support TLM. They take out Static, GG, NOOB. They take out SA, you're dead. They take out MoB, force you to heal, and out pops the toxic grenade without any requirements. GG. Reflex? You can survive. Venom? Yeah, ok. But that's still a 60% success rate. And that's not counting crits, either. Another build. Strength TM. They take your Static, your MoB, your SA and you're definitely dead. 60% again. Str BM, once again, a 60%-80% success rate. Str BH, 80% success. Focus BH, 100% cripple rate. Dex spam builds, tanky base health builds have already killed you if they take any of your 5 highest levelled skills. Focus BM, the only thing they lose out on is if they take reflex. See what I'm getting at here? The RNG completely takes the fun out of a battle. After all, you're fighting a cripple. It's like a boxer who's punching up a Special Forces soldier, only the Special Forces guy has lost either a limb, his sight, or something desperately needed to win. You can have a great build, but Pyro fly will almost ALWAYS ruin it. Especially when it hits your energy move. For TLM and TM, it's fine. They have 2 energy gaining skills. But for everyone else, it's totally unfair. As for cores, well, they're only useable once per fight, and they cost a ton of credits. So revise Pyro Fly. Give it less damage. Turn the whole battle disable into a double cooldown if it's the victim's main energy regain. Stuff like that HELPS. It's no fun when you have no energy and your opponent has BB and a nuke. Seriously, cut Pyro Fly's OP skill out. Maybe make it reusable, but with a 5 turn cooldown for the skill it disables. Then I won't have a problem with it.

@ Foulman

Please as someone who used the bot I can't count how many times I ended up taking a worthless move when it came to certain builds. Reflex boost is a worthless move for my class seeing as I don't use smoke and I end up hitting this move a lot. Frenzy is worthless for me with a support build because it doesn't do any worthwhile damage on me because of their lack of strength and my defenses yet I end up getting these moves because I have no say.

It is as I hit or miss, and even if I do hit, It doesn't grantee I will win. I have played against players who still end up beating me even if I get their moves because of what else can happen in game, or them just outplaying me. While taking certain moves from certain builds can possibly cripple a certain build (Assimilation from a battle mage, battery from a dex mage Etc) you are dealing in chance.

Here is a counter to the pyro fly that most know of. Instead of invest max points into one skill spread them out and make more skills add up to the top 3. doing so lessens the chance of this bot actually hitting the move you need.

Cause no offense to this idea but it turns the bot into consective shot which hardly anyone uses because it is unreliable and only put a random move on cool down which to most isn't worth it.

Not to mention anyone who uses this bot for the legendary NPC will be getting it as well seeing as those fights are over 100's of turns long and a 5 turn cool down on a NPC for most won't cut it as opposed to having it out the entire battle.

My top 3 skills. Shadow, Static grenade, MoB.

50/50 win without static,
Who needs MoB when you have static? They have pyro, I have IA, dmg made up there
Shadow Arts: I don't use it often, not against support, not against 5focus, not against strength.
Dont need reflex either because... I COULD do shadow...

@mother1 its one of the 3 highest skills , what do you mean that it can be a "completely worthless move" how is disabeling energy gaining moves worthless ?

@ RaxzergamingZ

If a class doesn't use said move against the class of the player who uses the bot it is as I called it a worthless move.

For example what happens when a TM using this bot hits a BH or BM's Reflex boost? Answer they waste a turn getting a worthless move because a BM and BH would rarely if ever use reflex boost on a TM seeing as TM has no way of lowering dexterity.

Here is another one. Say I hit frenzy on a Support Tactical Merc. That is worthless as well seeing as the TLM has no strength to get anything good back from using frenzy due to most players having high defenses to their low strength.

Then there are those players who I see who dump points into a move but won't use it in battle period due to having too many stat points for said build. Seen these kinds of players before and if you end up hitting one of those moves then you also wasted a turn.

As for disabling an energy move, lets say I disabled an energy move for a strength TM or a build that doesn't rely on energy returns. Then even though you got said move it was a worthless move seeing as they won't need it.

I am still going to say the whole bot should get reworked because there is no reason for a completely RNG-based robot which can be very influential in a battle to exist in a strategy pvp game.
