The bot's normal attack and special should be of the same damage type depending on which one you buy (all existing bots will be converted to the P version) It would be easier to defend against this bot, particularly in late game, since there would no uncertainty of what damage type it is going to use. This will indirectly nerf the bot while retaining its key concept. Thoughts?

I am tempted to agree with this as a possible change however I cannot ignore the fact that this would make Gamma Bot much more potent, in that it would, once again, be the only dual attack type bot in the game.

@ LV 1000

Actually this would be a good thing seeing as ever since the infernal android came out it made the gamma bot worthless to the owners. It not only did everything the Gamma bot does but thanks to it's special does it that much better. Making the bot single attack only would not only give the gamma bot it's uniqueness back, but as SSM mentioned nerfed the infernal android making it easier to defend against.

@ SSM

Does this mean all the old robots made limited rares will get their counter part versions? And what of the Pyro fly and Gamma bot? Would these robots be converted as well and made have two separate versions?

I definetly agree with this but the only question is who will get the p version and who will get the e version. Or will it just get refunded

So basically there will be only physical robots within the game?

^SSM is talking about all Infernal Androids currently owned by players. ("all existing bots will be converted to the P version")

There are two ways it could be handled. We could turn IA into an item and have two missions so players decide if they want P or E. Or we could just give everyone one of the two versions

@Mother1

No, this proposal only applies to IA. Gamma Bot isn't overused/OP and Pyro Fly's problems will not be mitigated at all by changing its damage type. Btw I'm suggesting that will be P and E versions of IA and that everyone's current copy be converted to the P version. A mission like OWA suggests might be better though.

The only reason I bought IA is because it's cheap. It is very cheap, especially for something that needs no upgrades. I think it's a good thing. It was the only robot I could afford, and is still my only robot. The other ones are insanely expensive; 45K is just too much when you've missed the gifting event.

IA is nice because it's cheap so I have to agree with you there.

I am going to say that 45k is nothing and this is coming from somebody who is constantly broke from retraining every 30 battles or so on average. Bots always costed obscene amounts of credits years before the gifting event last year and people dealt with it. Assault bot cost like 30k or something and people used it because back then it was really strong for F2P robot (during the time where varium had a large impact on the game). Stuff like the Endless's shop is absurd and pretty much requires the gifting event or arcade, but I'm hesitant to say 45k is an unfair price for stuff.

If anything, we shouldn't be treating a special event like the gifting as a necessity for stuff.

@ exploding penguin

Actually the assault bot cost 20K not 30K.

This is definetly an interesting suggestion.
It would help with the rage problem as
IA users can choose between a strong
physical attack AND a very strong energy
attack which is hardly counterable.

Unfortunately this wasn't really a problem when the physical attack was very weak but the energy attack very strong.

Anyways, supported for most of the reasons stated in above posts.
