Hey, question: are they any plans to increase stack limit or something? I only ask because it is so easy to fully stack up on Dried Crust when farming for the sword/mask. DX

Not entirely sure, in the future there'll most likely be a system to make up for the fact that once you reach x99 you can't pick anymore up until you sell that stack. Whether that's increasing the stack limit or making it so it's possible to have multiple stacks, I don't know.

Okay, so I talked to my internet service and apparently they disable peer-2-peer connections by default. Once I got that changed, I've been able to access this game's servers and the servers of other games with the same problem.

From the FAQs

'The AQ3D Tech Demo started 24, Nov, 2014. If you are thinking of a time that you played before that date then you are thinking of Legends of Lore and you are not a Tech Demo Tester... but the good news is that, even you aren't a Tech Demo tester, you will STILL be receiving the Alpha Knight armor along with the Tech Demo and Alpha testers (as long as you link the Artix Master account you used to test Legends of Lore to your new AQ3D account!)'

May I ask how I can verify this after I have linked said master account? Haven't been following the development in ages and just found out about the reboot. Thanks in advance!

Edit: Alright I realised that this did not work as I did not receive either tech demo or alpha tester items/status. Anyone care to shed some light or help out? Much appreciated.

Not much I can do here. I would recommend going to http://account.aq3d.com/Help/ and having the support team assist you with this.

When is the next release? I assumed it was on a weekly basis like most AE games. Was it delayed because of BioBeasts?

 The game is in pre-beta(which is a testing phase) there is no set scheduled most likely, updates will happen when there is a need for one. Similarly do the the larger amount of work for updates it's unlikely it will have weekly updates, at least anything of any real substance.

It's loading for me (Firefox), although yesterday Unity was taking it's sweet time to load the game and it required a few refreshes to get it on it's way.

That should not be possible but are you sure you saw their levels properly? (I mean it can be kinda hard to see the '1' in the 2 digit levels)

@Rickyb20: Not entirely sure but there's a small group farming gold at /greenguardnorth by mercilessly slaughtering the sneevils in there.

You can try fighting King Sneevil for a chance at x2 Shipping Labels that sell for 100 each, but it's not the most consistent method.

You can also try Warlic's quest in /magicshoppe, which gives you 2 Dull Scales that sell for 50 each. You'll be fighting Frogzards, and each turn-in should take a minute or so. I've found this to be more consistent than farming for Shipping Labels.

A third method I've heard of is farming for Bone Chips, which sell for 50 each. You can find skeletons pretty much everywhere in Doomwood, but /doomwoodgraveyard was recommended.

Question:
I can't find my brutalcorn helmet. Does it get consumed when you finish the 'brain slime' quest?
It's not in my inventory anymore, and I am 100% sure I didn't sell it.


Is this... normal? What can I do to have it back?

Edit: So apparently yes, the brutalcorn helmet is lost by completing the quest, even though the requirements tell you you only have to FIND one. =/
So... You either had two before the update, or now you have zero.
The Brain slime quest is repeatable though. Does that mean you can still find one through drops?

Just very poor wording. If the item's listed as a quest item on the quest, then it's going to take it from your inventory. when you complete said quest. This goes for every other quest in the game.

It's only available through the quest, unfortunately.

I'm level 12 with about 27,000 gold and I've completed all the quests. These are my current equipped items: Warrior Class; Pebblar Shell Shoulderplates; Pebblar Shell Armor; Ashen Plate Boots; Slimy Gloves; Withering Stash; Deathly Zed Sword; and Brain Slime. I started playing the game a few days ago, and had a few questions because I want to know how to best forward as I've already done what I think is most of what I can do for where the game is at currently.

1. Is there any better equipment I could get to improve my stats (Either by enemy drops or some in-game purchase/membership)?
1.5. (Side note: Is there any way for me to get a hold of Alpha Knight Armor at this point?)
2. Is there any point to buying the Horn of Generosity from Cysero for 30,000 gold/are there any worthy purchases for me?
3. Is the best thing to do at this point farm for gold, and if so, what's the best way to do so?

1. Depending on the stats you're going for there's definitely still some enemies that will drop better equipment. You can checkout the wiki at http://aq-3d.wikidot.com/ and see if there's anything you'd like to obtain.

1.5. Alpha Knight is no longer obtainable.

2. Not unless you're an Alpha Knight as it's linked to a quest for one of the Alpha Knight pieces. Honestly stuff you'd want to spend gold on would be up to you. If there's something you see in a shop that you'd like to buy then there's no harm in doing so (Although there is a 20 slot inventory limit at the moment).

3. Farming gold is probably your best option. Finding equipment that you like visually is nice too since later down the line you'll be able to fuse items together to use the looks of one item and the stats of another. On that note, I know some of the stuff that drops from the skeletons will sell well, so you could probably farm the skeletons in Doomwoodtower for a good amount of gold. Other than that I'm not sure where the best gold farming location would be.

Just wondering if anyone here is in any clan for AQ3D. I might be interested if there are any or will be any in the future.
Also wondering if there's a limit on gold amount currently.
Side note: Is the most you can buy now just the $25 package for kickstarter?
Next note: Will there be any more character wipes done?

Thanks for the quick response and advice. The AQ3D Wiki helped a lot. I looked through basically every section and all the items. Just an update, I'm now equipped with Guardian Class; Ashen Plate Boots; Withering Stash; Deathly Zed Sword; Brain Slime; Serpent Fighter Scales; Inquisitor's Robe; and Stone Gauntlets. Every item being level or 10 or above besides Guardian Class and Inquisitor's Robe of course. My stats have improved with the additional Serpent Fighter Scales and Stone Gauntlets thanks to Wiki.

I think the setup I have is pretty good, but I was wondering if you would recommend any changes statistically, not interested in aesthetics as much, realizing that I can't get Alpha Knight items.Also wondering if you have any general tips in terms of classes (strengths/weaknesses and how to best use them) as well as any other tips or tricks I could benefit from.

I think I'll just farm for gold at this point, since there doesn't seem like there's much else for me to do now.

What does this mean?? Is the current version of unity used by AW3D outdated or is unity altogether dead like flash?? And if it's only the version that is outdated, then why not upgrade to the latest version?? Why does it mean they have to go for steam and mob devices? That was already planned. What does it have to do with unity being "phased out"?? And does all this affect player account?? You know, leveling up isn't so easy and i definitely do not wanna do it all over again.

@^ Calm down man it just means that browsers are losing support of unity so thier going to shift to steam and mobile much sooner i doubt our accounts would be affected, and youre gonna have to do it again either way since there will be another reset before open beta.
Also anyone know when they plan to release the downloadable version for pc
