"Since ED still haven't made a new promo.. Maybe because they still didn't find any new simple cores to make, here are some cores:

The promo is made of 2 bots, 2 swords/mutating weapons, 2 armors.

Bot Special - Can be only used in rage. Deals 110% damage. Deflectable. Can be used more than 1 time in a match. Deals the opposite type of damage (If the bot is E it deals P damage and vice versa).
This bot would make people use IA less.
Gamma Bot needs a slight buff: 105% --> 107%

Armor 1 - Passive core - -30 resistance +60 defense.

Armor 2 - Passive core - -30 defense +60 resistance.
These armors would bring more diversity in builds.

Sword - Passive core - Increases your first turn chance by 5%.
Because it's a cool idea and simple.

(Dear Ifte, This sword will make you calm down with your commanders bro xD)

That's it simple and cool."

Taken from the core suggestions and posted here because I don't think it's just a core suggestion.

if the bot can only be used in rage it'd be a huge let down to actually make it deflectable... the armor cores are interesting i wouldn't be against them though i'm not sure a lot of people would take kindly to losing any stats

@Altador The armors would basically change the way you used generator.

I agree big time that gamma bot needs a buff. And the bot and armor seems like a good idea.

The idea of the armor's passive cores is fine, but can make high dex/tech builds (High dex BHs for instance). As technically they can have up to 470 in defense, -30 defense wouldn't be that much of a problem for +60 resistance. For those who play 2vs2, they will know that's a problem, as when 2 high dex BHs or 2 high dex TMs stay face to face, the battle can technically take forever. If not for some high dex builds' low resistance, battles will get extremely long and repetitive.

Maybe having for instance, +16 dex/tech and -8 dex/tech could be better, or even make it more diverse. +8 dex/+8 str and -4 tech/-4supp (just in example, you can have a core, where you choose which stats to have), you can have endless possibilities. Without actually making some builds too tanky.

Gamma bot needs a buff, that's for sure. We had a discussion while ago (1 - 2 years), before Ranloth has quitted the team. We concluded that an additional 5% to damage is quite useless, taking in consideration:
- RNG: hence making 5% as part of RNG.
- When your opponent has 5% more resistance than defense: gamma bot in this case is useless (since its special would be doing the same damage as its normal attack).
Even though mentioning many points, the bot wasn't buffed, saying that not everybody has it. Well, sure that's a thing, but it being underpowered compared to IA kinda kills diversity in battles, with everyone using IA.

Or maybe it's because someone actually has to make the artwork for all the promotional items. Sure, they have plenty of guests artists, but just look what happens when they use their free time to make war rewards and people just complain about them.

not a bad idea @nowras but as machaar stated it will be a pain in the back for 2 vs 2 players and the battles will take for ever
@8x let's be honest here only few of the war prizes were good the rest well some people sold them for the extra 5000 credits
the only good war prizes were the pirate captain's armor, commander armor I think that's it lol the rest well not worthy spend time to win the war for them.

@shadow.bane
That's exactly my point. If people complain about war prizes, they are going to complain about promos (that are made by the same people).

^ yep thumbs up ! but am sure guest artist will put much hard work for us to appreciate the promo cause it's a promo not a war prize (promo > war prize) if u know what I mean.

I mean, guest artists put a lot of time into the war prizes as well. They constantly ask for feedback from other guest artists and try to refine it as much as possible before release. Keep in mind that being a guest artist isn't a full-time job and that they have actual lives to attend to such as school and/or work.

I suggest that the war prizes look better. Because most of them aren't even worth upgrading. Few good ones include fortune city battlegear, pirate captain, arctic guard.

Back on topic

Promo will make battles longer especially, however if we are talking about dex builds, the focus builds will have them as well. And the devs don't seen to have a problem with making the battles longer either.

People complain about war rewards since war rewards, unlike promo items, are coreless (when we talk about an item), hence making players solely judge said item on how it looks. Guest artists fail to understand that, and kinda rush it while making war prizes. Some get upset due to the negative comments, well there are 2 reasons for that, the player base got used to good art (LQS items made by charfade are the best example) and a huge part of the game's playerbase puts its hands on said war prize, making it more vulnerable to critics. Kinda looks to me like NW is putting some guest artists in cages while forcing them to draw. I'm sure many guest artists out there are more willing to showcase their skills.

When it comes to promo items, we are talking about items that are equiped with a core, if said cores are good, I'm quite sure the vast majority won't criticize the look of such item.

In fact, they would even more but, they would use it no matter how bad it looks.

Well, then. IMO, the best way to get this in game would be to convince one of the guest artists to make the promo weapons. If a guest artist told the devs that they would like to make promotional weapons (with "simple" cores, as you called them), I'm willing to bet that devs would agree to that and be willing to make those "simple" cores for the promotional weapons.

But lets not forget, 2 bots, 2 mutating weapons and 2 armors would require an incredible amount of work. For example, a simple vehicle car thingy for the war prize probably takes them weeks to create.

They still have like 2 months to create the promo because the Monkakazi promo will be available in shop after these 2 months for credits so, we need a promo to be made in these 2 months.

When I say "incredible amount of work", I'm wondering if anyone would even consider starting working on something that might require so much time and work. Would you work on something for, lets say, 2 hours per day, for 2 months (for free)?

If it's going to be OP and they'll get it for free, why not?

In most cases content is more important then balance to keep players playing.

But the balance is so appalling in ED currently and has been for so long , I cant support this .... I think nothing should be done till a big balance overhaul comes in, Its critical balance is fixed at this point.

Not many are going to buy a promo package in a game so broken , A few maybe not enough to justify the time spent.

My dear, promo packages don't require a lot of coding (especially for my suggestion) it would just take them like a day or two of coding and testing for the promo to be ready and since ED devs aren't doing the art work (Guest artists are doing it) it wouldn't be really a waste of time to implement a promo.
