Doomlord for non-member

 DISCLAIMER: I haven't done the quest myself yet. I started, and will update if find other ways better. But all input is welcome. I might add the alternate ways for members later on. But this took me long enough to write already for now, especially all the listing.

You need to be Rank 10 in the Evil faction, and atleast Rank 7 for Arcangrove.

I only list the items that can be of use for getting the doomlord set in the reward section of every quest. If you get a reward that isn't listed, you can discard/sell it, or keep if you like it. Collect all the items I put under Reward(s) If you get the bold item, that just mean that you can concider to continue

If it's a 'simple' action you have to take to get a certain item for a quest, I included it in the requirement section.

Even if you completed quests in the first and second stage. You'll still want to get all the items, cause you need to repeat the quests.



To get the complete Doomlord set, You need to go through 3 quest stages, which requires many items and repeating things.
The first stage is

Willpower Extraction
  1. We start with a quest from the Nulgath Larvae pet. We need atleast 3x "Totems of Nulgath" (30 max) to continue

    Nulgath (Larvae)
    Find a player with the pet if you don’t have it

    Requirements:
    • Mana Energy for Nulgath x1
      • /join elemental
      • Defeat "Mana Golem"

    • Charged Mana Energy for Nulgath x5
      • /join Gilead
      • Defeat "Mana Elemental"

    Reward:
    • Unidentified 10: Bag of Dirt

    Random:
    • Tainted Gem
    • Dark Crystal Shard
    • Diamon of Nulgath
    • Totem of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)

  2. Once you found a Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem). You can choose to do a quest from the drudgen pet. This can guarantee you for a totem of Nulgath, but the previous quest also drops misc items we needs lots of. So it's not recommended to do this in the beginning.

    Voucher Item: Totem of Nulgath
    If you don't have the Drudgen The Assistant, you can access the quest in the shop prieview in tercessuinotlim

    Required in inventory:
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)

    Requirements
    • Essence of Nulgath x60
      • Defeat "Dark Makai"

    Reward (choose):
    • Totem of Nulgath
    • Gem of Nulgath (misc) x10

  3. After you gathered 3 tomes, you use it to get the dragonfire of Nulgath from one of the swords of Nulgath

    Twisted Items of Nulgath
    If you don't have a sword pet, you can open the 500 AC Loyalty shop in your book of Lore. To preview the "Matrix Conduit Katana Pet"

    Requirements:
    • Totem of Nulgath x3

    • Nulgath Rune 4
      • /join EvilwarNul
      • Defeat "Skull Warrior"

    Reward (choose):
    • Dragonfire of Nulgath


  4. Next we need atleast 2x Unidentified 13 (max 3). You have to depend on luck with the following quest. But you need several of the other drops too anyway.

    Quest from Swindle Bilk in Tercessuinotlim

    Requirement:
    • Escherion’s Helm
      • /join Escherion
      • Defeat “Escherion”

    Rewards:
    • Unidentified 10: Bag of Dirt

    Random:
    • Unidentified 4: Small Hammer
    • Unidentified 5: Rounded Stone Hammer
    • Unidentified 7: Star Dagger
    • Unidentified 8: Bee Sting Dagger
    • Unidentified 13: The contract of Nulgath
    • Unidentified 19: Koi Fish in a Sphere
    • Unidentified 26: Ordinary Cape
    • Tainted Gem
    • Dark Crystal Shard
    • Diamond of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)

    Also get the Chaoroot that drops from Escherion.

  5. If you have plenty of gold you can do swindle his second quest

    The Assistant
    Quest from Swindle Bilk in Tercessuinotlim

    Requirement:
    • Blood Cloak
      • /join Yulgar
      • Yulgar - Shops - Weapon shop (100 000 gold)

    • Nulgath Rune 3
      • /Join EvilwarNul
      • Defeat "Legion Fenrir"

    Rewards:
    • Unidentified 10: Bag of Dirt

    Random:
    • Unidentified 4: Small Hammer
    • Unidentified 5: Rounded Stone Hammer
    • Unidentified 7: Star Dagger
    • Unidentified 8: Bee Sting Dagger
    • Unidentified 13: The contract of Nulgath
    • Unidentified 19: Koi Fish in a Sphere
    • Unidentified 26: Ordinary Cape
    • Tainted Gem
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)

  6. BONUS: Everytime you find the unidentified 4,5 ,7 and 8, you can use them for swindle his 3rd quest. So you get an extra Dark Crystal Shard

    Requirements:
    • Unidentified 10: Bag of Dirt
    • Unidentified 4: Small Hammer
    • Unidentified 5: Rounded Stone Hammer
    • Unidentified 7: Star Dagger

    • Nulgath Rune 3
      • /Join EvilWarNul
      • Defeat “Legion Fenrir”

    Reward:
    • Dark Crystal Shard

  7. Okay, this quest is only needed later on. But I figured it's better to already start it when you can, so there is less chance you'll get unlucky for it to drop another time.

    Ordinary Cape
    If you don't have a sword pet, you can open the 500 AC Loyalty shop in your book of Lore. To preview the "Matrix Conduit Katana Pet"

    Required:
    • Unidentified 26: Ordinary Cape
    • Tainted Gem x5
    • Nulgath Rune 9
      • Defeat “Dark Makai”

    Reward:
    • Unidentified 27: Chameleon Cape

    So if you happen to find another unidentified 26, get it. So you don't have to wait for it next time.

  8. Once you have the Unidentified 13, you give Nulgath a visit in an attempt to get the Facebreaker.

    "Kindness" Of Nulgath
    Goto Nulgath in Tercessuinotlim

    • Golden Shadow Breaker x1
      • /join citadel
      • Defeat Grand Inquisitor

    • Shadow Terror Axe x1
      • /join BattleUnder
      • Defeat Bone Terror

    • Unidentified 13: The Contract of Nulgath x1
    • Tainted Gem x5
    • Dark Crystal Shard x5
    • Diamond of Nulgath x1

    Reward (one randomly):
    • Facebreaker of Nulgath (Dagger)
    • SightBlinder Axe of Nulgath (Dagger) Not needed, but keep it in your inventory. Because the quest gives one item randomly. If you already have this one in your inventory, you will always get the facebreaker.


    Note: If you ever need "Tainted Gems", "Gem of Nulgath", "Dark Crystal Shard" or "Diamond of Nulgath" Either repeat step 1, 4 ,5 and 6 if you still need other unidentified items etc. Or skip to the bottom of the guide at "Nulgath's Currency" for useful quests.

  9. You need to do the above quests until you have:
    • Dragonfire of Nulgath
    • Facebreaker of Nulgath (Dagger)
    • Unidentified 13: The Contract of Nulgath
    • Unidentified 19: Koi Fish in a Sphere
    Once you do, you can focus on the main quest of this stage.
    Willpower Extraction
    Goto Oblivion (Tercessuinotlim)

    Required in Inventory:
    • Unidentified 13


    Required:
    • DragonFire of Nulgath x1
    • Facebreaker of Nulgath (Dagger) x1
    • Unidentified 19 x1
    • Chaoroot x5
      • Should have collected enough from Escherion

    • Shadow Lich x1
      • /join Shadowfall
      • Gravelyn - Evil rep shop (50 000 gold)

    • Mystical Tribal Sword x1
      • /join Arcangrove
      • Rayst - Arcangrove Rep Shop (6 000 gold)

    • Mortality Cape of Reventheus x1
      • /join EvilwarNul
      • Klunk - Nulgath War Merge Shop (Archfiend Favor x35, 10 000 gold)

    • Archfiend’s Favor x50
    • King Klunk’s Crown x1
      • /join EvilwarNul
      • Defeat Legion Fenrir
        • note: also get Nulgath’s Favor

    • Doomatter x5
      • /join temple
      • Defeat “Dracolich”

    • Necrot x5
      • /join Temple
      • Defeat “Lich”

    • Essence of Nulgath x10
      • Defeat “Dark Makai” (10%)
        • note: Also get Tendurrr)


    Reward:
    • Unidentified 34 x1/2/3/5

    You need 10x Unidentified 34, so repeat everything above until you do.


The next stage is

Nulgath Demands Work
  1. For this stage you first need 2x Blood Gem of the Archfiend

    Kiss the Void
    Goto Nulgath in Tercessuinotlim

    Required:
    • Tendurrr x1
      • Defeat “dark makai” (1%)
        • Also get Essence of Nulgath in the meantime

    • Fragment of Chaos x80
      • /join vasalker Lair
      • Defeat “Water Draconion”

    • Broken Betrayal Blade x8
      • /join EvilwarNul
      • Defeat “Legion Fenrir”

    Reward:
    • Unidentified 10: Bag of Dirt x10
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend (AC) x1/3

  2. Now you go shopping at Klunk's shop
    Nulgath Diamond Shop
    Goto Klunk (/join EvilwarNul)

    Required:
    • Archfiend Favor x200
    • Nulgath’s Approval x50
      • /join EvilwarNul
      • Defeat Legion Fenrir

    • Tainted Gem x30
    • Dark Crystal Shard x15
    • Diamond of Nulgath x50
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) x1
    • 100 000 gold

    Merge:
    • Golden Hanzo Void

  3. If you have the 2 blood gems, and the Golden Hanzo void, you can take a look at the main quest of this stage. Hopefully you got the unidentified 27 (from step 7, which requires unidentifeid 26). If you don't have it yet, then repeat step 4 or 5 of the first stage.


    Nulgath Demands Work
    Goto Oblivion (Tercessuinotlim)

    Required in Inventory:
    • Unidentified 13


    Required:
    • Unidentified 13 x1
    • Unidentified 27 x1
    • Unidentified 34 x10
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x2
    • Golden Hanzo Void x1
    • Gem of Nulgath (misc) x15
    • Tainted Gem x15
    • Dark Crystal Shard x30
    • Diamond of Nulgath x30
    • Voucher of Nulgath x1


    Reward (choose one):
    • Doomblade of Destruction AC
    • DoomLord’s War Mask AC
    • ShadowFiend Cloak AC
    • Locks of the DoomLord AC
    Random:
    • Unidentified 35


    For the last stage you need those 4 equipment items. So you have to do it 4 times ... atleast. You also need the unidentified 35, so repeat everything above until you have these 5 items.


Final stage, If you got Unidentified 35 with the 4 other doomlord items you should have the most annoying part behind you.
Enough DOOM for an Archfiend
  1. You need 1 more Unidentified 13 in your inventory when accepting the quest. And if you are lacking inventory space, you can temporarily put the doomlord equipment in your bank, cause AC items can be stored freely.

    Required in Inventory:
    • Unidentified 13
    • Nulgath’s Approval

In the second stage, during the quest "Kiss the Void", you can also defeat "Chaos Gemralds" to get the "Fragments of Chaos" in /blindingsnow (three Gemralds in the second screen). They have 1,840 HP, but you can use a "Chaorrupter Unlocked" (you can drop the free version of this sword from a monster, can't remember which) to get a 50% damage bonus against them and probably one-shoot them.

While you're right, you are, using a class like Blazebinder is best in that situation as it's a stagnant room. If you do the way described above, in /lair, using a class like Abyssal Angel or some class with faster CD on skills you can simply copy+paste /join lair-9999999 and constantly room hop and kill the water draconians for the Frags. of Chaos. This is significantly faster than BB's method.

However both should be mentioned by OP as viable ways.

Also, Chaorrupter Unlocked drops from the High Chaos Knight in /chaoswar

Klunk has a shop that sells Blood Cloaks, you don't really need to go to Yulgar to buy them.

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, so I might as well put it here rather than having to paste it every time someone asks for AFDL advice.

/vordredboss is the best place to farm Doomatter because there's a way to skip most of the cutscenes so you only have to spend a fraction of the time you normally would. The cutscenes trigger when the monster that you were supposed to face at the end gets killed, and if you use a skill that can target an enemy from a long distance, you start fighting it while the cutscene is still playing. Since each monster has very low HP, you can kill them very quickly, especially with an Undead-boosted weapon like the BLoD or the Celestial Khopesh. One important thing to keep in mind is that if you skip the initial cutscene, you don't get an ending since you didn't get to pick one, so the last cutscene you have to watch is the one before the ending, which is so long that it's much faster to just pick an ending. I'd suggest the Zorbak one since it's the shortest, and you only have to pick it once every 5 or so times you go through the cutscene sequence.

 Someone should update this guide.The matrix conduit katana pet no longer has the sword of nulgath's quest.For non members to access them they need to get the 8th betrayal blade of nulgath pet that drops from the nulgath(larvae)pet.Also nulgath larvae is a terrible way to get totems of nulgath.The totems of nulgath(in my experience) have a very low drop rate similar to that of the voucher nulgath non mem.
